Why hasbro does keep doing stuff like this is beyond me (and takara is no different, I mean half of there god gimmicks don't even work, do they not test these gimmicks before they are released to japan!?)

Maybe they just put gimmicks there to make the beys sound cool. Then, they don't care if it works IRL or not.
The thing is, bJ's God ability just matters worse

Hasbro and it’s fanbase as a whole triggers me lol

In that case I trigger you as a hasfan
I am not sure if it's that good but my first try..
The feeling when The dub finally reaches the most exciting part of the burst series and the channel starts with the reruns..
(Jan. 20, 2018  8:59 PM)Jinbee Wrote: [ -> ]Yeah, it's why I'm not crazy over Hasbro Tornado Wyvern, they just lack that authenticity to me. Besides performance differences, I just don't like that they're too different from TT, so it really kills the option of having an easier or cheaper way to get certain random booster beyblades. I missed it when they made authentic, cross compatible beyblades, and while they are technically authentic, they don't seem like it to me.
Rehashing this, as I finally managed on finding some Switchstrike beys, including tW. I'll admit that looks-wise, yeah, Hasbros beys trigger me about as much as their constant use of Edge. Performance-wise, it feels to me like Hasbro is finally catching up to TT. I ended up fighting the TT and Hasbro versions of tW, and I couldn't stop the ties from flooding in. I don't think I had a single winner in about 20 battles, only double sleepouts.

I definitely agree with the looks and lack of cross-compatibility, but their power level has actually lined up in the mirrors to the point that I'm actually impressed given how much weaker the basic and dual layers were and that inauthentic feeling they have.
@[MagikHorse] yeah I actually just bought tW today and to be honest I actually love it. I would still like to get a TT tW of course but this makes a good substitute as it is at least half accurate and I've grown to appreciate the colours. I always said I preferred the Burst Evolution line over the lackluster Dual Layer line, especially its aesthetics. I'm glad to hear this tW performs comparably to the TT one, I didn't want it to be too weak or strong compared to it. tW might be one of my favourite Hasbro beyblades so far, I love tW by default anyway.

I still prefer the TT versions but these Hasbro God beys do make pretty good convenient substitutes till then. Plus having a few new recoloured frames is always nice.
I like the coloring of the original, and as I only have the yellow recolor having the original purple is nice. I will admit that the Hasbro Atomic likes to steady and move to the center a bit faster than TTs Atomic instead of orbiting around the stadium and pocketing itself on hard launches, but that's starting to get pretty far off-topic.

More on-topic, I just really, really don't like the clear plastic of the hasbeys, tW being no exception. It's like a foggy pane instead of the clear and glossy glass-like appearance on all of TTs layers. The only bey this hasn't been a factor was this blue and orange gV I got from Wal-Mart. Add that to the list of things I don't like about Hasbeys: store specific recolors or sets.

I can get mine to move around, but not as much as my TT one. The Hasbro Atomic I have has a smoother ring spin but the ball doesn't roll as smoothly.

Yeah the foggy plastic does suck and it looks a bit cheaper, but it's something I just live with a suppose. I do question why it's so foggy considering the disk frames, at least the ones I've gotten is a pretty clean translucent colour.

Because the fogging makes the coloring seem more vibrant. It's just as foggy, but less noticeable because of this
If you angle the back of your launcher up with hasbro's atomic it'll move, I've gotten bursts against dual layer hasbro defense combos with a stock w3, my aggro atomic triggers meh
When your brother (using nL) slaps your beyblade and says "I win!"
i can guess that is EXTREMELY triggering
When your best friend says he knows everything about Beyblade but doesn’t know how to put one together
I think the only Beyblade-related thing that really triggers me is when people say the names for the Hasbro Beys wrong. Like, there's only two ways to say it, the full name (ex: Giga Gaianon) or the abbreviation (ex: Gaianon G2). There's no "Giga Gaianon G2", you know? Right now, there are two Beys that don't apply to this and that's Genesis Valtryek V3 and Legend Spryzen S3, as that's what they say on their boxes. But with the others, even if someone says the Hasbro Beys' names wrong, I don't get upset, as it's free speech. You can pretty much say whatever you want. My main problem with it is when other people start copying people who say it, the best example with this is YouTube. Let's say your favorite BeyTuber says the Bey's name wrong (ex: "Jumbo Jormuntor J2"). There's a chance you could go around saying it too and then you could get roasted in the comments or in real life for something that you might've thought was the correct way to say it. A big audience for Beyblade is kids and many of them can be impressionable, that's why I don't like it when stuff like this happens. Let me also say this, I wouldn't be the one roasting someone for mispronouncing, I'd be the one who would try to correct the person whenever I get the chance so they don't make the same mistakes again. That's all. But man, this post was longer than a Subway Sandwich, so I'm going to end it here.

ALSO I JUST FREAKING REMEMBERED, so, like, one day I was at school, and you know those beyblade clubs some have? Ya, those. So, I was in mine one day and someone came up to me saying something like, "could you fix my Lost LONGINUS" and I tried to correct how he said from how often I hear Luinor instead.
When a new god bey gets released and the gimmick don’t work!

You're fine, like I explained in my original post, it's when people copy others who say the wrong thing bc then they could get roasted that can trigger me.
