My brother wants Xeno Xcalius so bad, I wanted to know if any of it's parts is actually competitive.
Not anymore in Takara Tomy. Better to get Sieg Xcalibur

If it's Hasbro, get the Master Kit for normal Xcalius, comes with better parts
If its Hasbro, instead buy the Apex Attack Set. It gets you v2, triple, extreme, variable, unite, and impact.

If its takara-tomy, get Sieg Xcalibur.

But does not include X2

Plus it's Target exclusive, and I live in Catalonia

No shiping to spain

It's really annoying to buy from jap to spain, I mean, or no shipping or two months delay
honestly xeno xcalius is bad in terms of competitive parts despite the good teeth the layer has terrible defense and stamina and its cons outweigh its pros however alot of people favor using x2 in terms of speed aswell but at the same time the layer takes quite a bit of recoil x2 is like k2 in a sense that it has good teeth but a bad layer design. as for magnum its use vary's on the combo but there currently have been no combos found for it so its uses are rather limited but it isn't that bad of a disc. now for impact impact is probably the worst attack driver there is it almost has no benefits. Due to the combination of plastic and rubber the spin velocity is uncontrollable and as a result it has one of the lowest spin times a driver can have and because of this same reason making any kind of competitive launch pattern wont work with impact due to the plastics stubbornness and for these reasons impact is a horrible driver you are quit better off buying the raging rocktavor and xcalius 2 pack lots of competitive parts in there

Magnum has good synergy with Valkyrie like triple. People think Hold is great, but Impact is faster and has better grip and more stamina.

Your Hold must be really loose then. Pretty much everyone else has a Hold that will go mad

Magnum is only good with Valkyrie, because it's mostly plastic it doesn't work well with anything else

Concurring with Mono, your experience with Hold must be different from what others have experienced. Hold goes at about the same speed as Impact on the tornado ridge but Hold can keep its speed and accelerate further while Impact just kinda dies in terms of stamina. The amount of plastic to rubber is very disproportionate as the rubber doesn't make much contact at all and the constant content between the spaces causes it to waste it's stamina. Magnum, while able to line up with layers with 3 attack points, is completely useless. The plastic has literally no benefits other than making the bey lighter which can be bad for an attack type because it won't deal blows heavy enough.

My hold isn't that loose, it zooms around the stadium very fast and then after 2-3 seconds, it slows down completely. Impact can keep its speed for much longer.

Spiral for even longer. Problem is with all of them, you can't hit anything in the center very well.

Hold is good on Lost Longinus because it works best when weak launched and Hold can get you momentum at that weak speed

Hold is usually very loose, and is usually a better choice. Impact is near uncontrollable and has very prominent stamina issues. Magnum is mediocre, and X2 is as well. Xcalius is better in every way.

I do agree, but Hold is uncontrollable too.

If you launch hard enough Hold will accelerate around the tornado ridge, go beyond the ridge and hit the wall, speed towards the middle, stall for a sec around the center, accelerate to the ridge again, and if your launch was hard enough it'll be able to bounce off the wall again.
What stadium are you using again?

Oh. I just now realize my stadium's size might have caused that. Or the long ridges extending from the middle. Or the spike in the center.

exactly its the plastic that is larger in portion on the driver that makes it uncontrollable

He has the chaos core beystadium
Look at it this way. The Xcalius X2 layer focuses most of the bey's overall attack power into a single point. While this may not seem truly effective to an experienced blader, X2 still has a use as a One-hit Burst or a One-hit K.O. layer. However, I recommend that you exercise caution with such a custom, because it can be hard to create a One-Hitter without risking loss by self-destruct. This is why they're not very popular, even in the Plastic gen when one-hitters used the Spike Dragon AR from Dragoon V2. Also, because of the recent release of the much more powerful Sieg Xcalius, X2 has been outclassed heavily by the much more versatile and useful sX. I know that you're a Hasbro user, but if you're willing to wait, Hasbro will be releasing the God Layer System within the next few months. That's my input on the subject. Use it if you want, but it's gonna require a lot of patience and practice.
Yep, I'll buy sX from hasbro, thank you all for your help.
