Twin Nemesis Testing and Discussion

I recently acquired RLC7 and thought I'd do some formal testing on this layer. It as some potential as an attacker but I'm not quite sure in what capacity. Anyways here's what I found.

Equipment:
Burst Standard Stadium
Long winder and Light launcher (For tN)
Beylauncher (for mG, aC)
Beylauncher L (for dF)

Procedure:
tN always launched second
tN in Upper Mode
Ties redone

Metal God Chip Twin Nemesis 7G Xtreme v Alta Chronos 4G Atomic

tN.7G.X: 7 (5KO 2OS)
aC.4G.At: 3 (3OS)

Win percentage: 70%

Upper mode has crazy KO potential and the tN layer has quite a lot of plastic which makes it fairly heavy. tN would flat out KO aC if it caught it near a pocket and the OS's are from tN hitting aC hard enough to make it lose spin.

Metal God Chip Twin Nemesis 7G Xtreme v Maximum Garuda 4G Atomic

tN.7G.x: 9 (8KO 1OS)
mG.4G.At: 11 (9OS 2KO)

Win percentage: 45%

Up against the banana, it was close, a few of these were pretty lucky as mG bounced out and came back in but I counted those as KOs. Notice how tN never actually bursted mG in this test. The lift tN can generate is crazy, a couple of time mG jumped as a result of being hit by tN. Its seems tN is a bit more consistent than legend spriggan iI was also having some success with stationary tN even getting it to OS mG but I need to find the right driver to get it consistent, definitely something to be explored going forward.

Twin Nemesis 7G Xtreme v Drain Fafnir 4G Atomic

tN.7G.X: 3 (1BF 2KO)
dF.4G.At: 7 (1BF 1KO 5OS)

Win percentage: 30%

dF pretty much had this the bursts both came from contact right after launch. If dF can avoid tN it's pretty much game over similar to the dF vs sX matchup.

I haven't really formed an opinion on this layer yet but I think tN is a decent attacker. It has more stamina than sX with similar attack potential to lS. The mG matchup definitely needs more testing but I'm pretty sure if it can handle aC it will be able to handle odd bR and gK combos. It could have potential on semi mobile or stationary drivers and the layer seems well balanced.  Let me know your experience with this layer !

Nice tests man! I think it will do better with Iron or Accel, as they give more time for it to attack the other beyblade
could u test tN 4/8 glaive /spread/gravity iron for stalling.the results look promising tho could u try tN for mixed attack too
try again spriggan requiem with bearing?

tN is quite weak against opposite spin oppoopponents on attack setups so Sr on bearing in left spin would probably win
Why not tN5GDs vs aC0BAt
I think tN revolve should be tested against cR revolve,bL attack and hS atomic
Test it with bloody Longinus
My usual combo has been tN (upper mode) 0M Ds. It does amazing. I only have Fafnir in Hasbro, but against it ( Fafnir F3 7C At) I got multiple burst finishes and even managed to outspin it a few times.

Can u post some proper tests then?

Let me help organize those results for you.

tN.0M.Ds vs F3.7C.At
- tN.0M.Ds: 4 SFs, 4 KOs, 3 BFs (11/20)
- F3.7C.At: 2 SFs, 2 KOs, 1 BF (5/20)
- Ties: 4 Double BFs (4/20)

I've done a lot of tests myself, personally I don't count ties, but it's your test, you can do whatever you want.

Wait a minute, you did your test in Hasbro's Blue Burst Beystadium? If that's the case, you gotta redo the test in a B-09 or B-33 from Takara Tomy, those stadiums are the main ones used for official testing.

Yo really? Haven’t gotten a TT stadium yet. I was Hasbro when I started and I only just started buying TT.

Yeah, I learned that too when I first got into testing a few months back. I got into Hasbro Burst first and since then, I've only been buying Hasbro Burst products (I started collecting Burst in May 2017 so I decided to just stick with Hasbro). But yeah, once you get a B-09 or a B-33, you should definitely redo this test and then go from there.
Twin nemesis is really good with the assault driver.

But assault is just a wider tip Accel. I feel like there are a number of other drivers that work better. Also I recently upgraded my twin nemesis with a metal god chip and damn it really does make a difference. I got the god customize set from Amazon and so now I have a TT dF to test against. Burst victories p regularly, even if I don’t dont have the right stadium lol
Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but if anybody has both versions of tN, can you tell me how big the difference is for burst resistance and teeth durability?

you should test some stationary attack combinations, they work surprisingly well and they don't use rubber so they wont wear down nearly as much

at least for TT Twin Nemesis
tN.7M.At (A1 MOLD GOD CHIP) vs mG.4C.O (12 rounds)

tN (smash mode): 8 wins (all outspins)
mG: 4 wins (all outspins)

tN (upper mode) : 3 wins (all outspins)
mG: 9 wins (1 burst, 1 knockout and 7 outspins)

smash mode works better when against mG hehe.
So, I have an idea. What about tN.0R.Xt? I would pair up the layer to driver setup Smash-Tall and Upper-Short. I would also launch it so in Smash, it moves around the stadium more, and in Upper, it stays in the center. The idea here is for the Smash mode of the layer to push the opponent into the Reach frame so it does some massive damage. In Upper mode, you'll be setting up a kind of defensive wall, pushing your opponents away. Test this against a few Cho-Z beys. Also, test which is better, Metal God Chip, or A-Mold God Chip. Thank you

I thought of that too,but tn will bust against heavy cho-z layers,

And can someone tell me the best tn combo to go against meta cho-z combo ,all views welcome

TN might be able to stand a slight chance if outfitted with an A-Mold God Chip and maybe a lighter disc. If weight is also what you're worried about, then maybe fit it with a metal god chip. I wish there was a Cho-Z Nemesis Layer.
