I spent a lot of time over the last two days testing this layer, prior to owning one myself I saw few videos and despite how its teeth look it didn't burst as much as expected and the shape looked like it had potential so I started off with a few preliminary 10 round tests.
Equipment:
Burst Standard Stadium
Speed Launcher with carabiner grip
BeyLauncher L and power grip
Procedure:
Launches alternated
gK Launched 80% power
Odin Launched 80% power
Neptune launched 80% power
dF launched 40% power
Ties Redone
Guardian Kerbeus Yell Atomic v Neptune Spread Revolve
gK.Y.At: 7 (7OS)
NSRL: 3 (3BF)
Win Percentage: 70%
The bursts occured when there was too much contact at the beginning of the rounds. gK was really good at getting neptune extremely off balance and outspinning. After that neptune would scrape and lose quickly.
Guardian Kerbeus Yell Atomic v Odin Spread Revolve
gK.Y.At: 8 (2BF 6OS)
OSR: 2 (2 BF)
Win Percentage: 80%
Guardian Kerbeus could knock Odin off balance even easier than Neptune. Odin got one lucky burst on its last few rotations and the other burst again was from a lot of early contact. It would be interesting to try OYR against this combo but I only own one Yell disk.
Guardian Kerbeus Yell Atomic V Drain Fafnir Polish Atomic
gK.Y.At: 7 (2KO 5OS)
dF.P.At: 3 (3OS)
Win Percentage: 70%
I suspect this is a bit of an outlier, gK got two lucky snipes as dF drifted to pockets after launching. I may have not launched dF quite hard enough to stay completely upright late into the match. Also there was a clear difference between After testing casually after these tests it was clear gK wasn't as dominant but can still hold its own. This definitely needs further testing.
After the preliminary 10 rounds testing I wanted to try gK against some combos I thought it would have trouble destabilising. These were all 20 round tests.
Equipment:
Burst Standard Stadium

BeyLauncher L and power grip
Procedure:
Launches alternated
gK Launched 80% power
bR Lauched 100% power
Guardian Kerbeus Yell Atomic v Blaze Ragnaruk Spread Revolve
gK.Y.At: 5 (OS)
bR.S.R: 15 (12 BF 3OS)
Win Percentage: 70%
This was a really bad matchup for gK. Blaze Ragnaruk was much more resistant to destabilisation and the good teeth meant I could launch much harder resulting in a crazy amount of burst which surprised me as I thought Yell was quite burst resistant but I guess it couldn't make up for gK's blunt shallow teeth.
At this point I wasn't happy with how much gK was bursting on Yell Atomic. I played around with a few disks and settled on 4G, it was heavy enough to give gK good stamina but didn't burst as much Yell or Spread. Glaive helped boost the LAD slightly and also prevents disk contact to a degree. Again these were 20 round tests.
Guardian Kerbeus 4 Glaive Revolve v Blaze Ragnaruk Spread Revolve
gK.4G.R: 17 (17OS)
bR.S.R: 3 (1BF 2OS)
Win Percentage: 85%
Now that the burst resistance was better I could launch gK much harder which helped it put bR of balance before gK started to precess. bR is a tank though and resisted a lot more than Odin and Neptune.
Guardian Kerbeus 4 Glaive Revolve v Neptune Spread Revolve
gK.4G.R:19 (19 OS)
NSR:1 (1 BF)
Win Percentage: 95%
I only continued this test because Neptune got a burst in the 9th round lol. This was even better than the Yell Atomic variant and the majority of matches were clear cut wins Neptune simply couldn't stay upright.
Guardian Kerbeus 4 Glaive Revolve v Odin Yell Revolve
gK.4G.R: 18 (17OS 1BF)
OYR: 2 (2OS)
Win Percentage: 90%
Again wins in the 4th and 8th round convinced me to keep torturing Odin, all pretty clear cut wins. Odin on Yell definitely resisted destabilisation more than the spread version but was quite easily bested almost every round.
Guardian Kerbeus 4 Glaive Revolve v Acid Anubis Spread Revolve
gK.4G.R: 17 (13OS 2BF)
A2SR: 3 (3OS)
Win percentage: 85%
Probably the match I was most interested in considering A2 is regarded a good destabiliser at high speeds. This one was pretty close since I launched A2 at 100% Power. There were 5 draws but gK managed to edge it out. A2 resisted being destabilised the most out of any right spinning opponent. You dont have to launch gK nearly as hard to get the same effect and even if you wanted to the risk of gK bursting shoots up.
Guardian Kerbeus 4 Glaive Revolve v Drain Fafnir Atomic
gk.4G.At: 0
dF.P.At:10
This affirms my earlier skepticism about the Yell Atomic test. These were all pretty solid wins from Drain Fafnir so I cut it short.I still think it may have a chance in other combinations but probably wont have as wide ranging applications as 4G Revolve.
Gonna do the monster math right now ;)
When looking at the data like this it's clear the 4G revolve combo is better against right spin opponents but isn't so good against left spin atomic, a trend I think a lot of players will agree upon and so atomic testing would be the next logical step. I see a lot of potential in gK (I hope some other players can back me up!)
Overall the round shape along with the black plastic parts of gK make it a really good destabiliser. The only real caveat to its performance is the burst resistance and left spin matchup. More testing on Atomic with other disks could provide solutions to these weaknesses. I think right now especially in the London meta finding a layer that can beat Odin and Neptune reliably is super valuable. I suppose bR could give it some trouble in certain matchups too and I didn't test gK against any right spin Atomic so who knows what else could beat it. Right now I can't stand the sight of gK but I'm sure I'll pick it up again in the future.
If you read all this was I appreciate it. I hope these tests push you to try out gK

Gonna do the monster math right now ;)
- gK won 91/120 rounds against right spinning opponents, about 76% of matches
- gK.4G.R won a staggering 71/80 matches against right spinning opponents ~89% overall!
- gK.Y.At won 20/40 rounds against right spin opponents 50% overall
- gK won only 7/20 rounds against left spinning (dF.P.at) opponents, 35% overall
