ok I'm probably gonna get flamed for this but still, who cares.

Anyways, I was just wondering, does anyone else think the new blades form beyblade metal fusion are, well, a bit carp? Seriously, I mean true and utter metal coloured carp. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for a new beyblade series and can't wait to see it, but the blades themselves just look really really rubbish. Theres no design to them, just twisted metal pieces. Don't get me wrong, the HMS blades are great and I love them but these new ones just seem to take the concept and ruin it. I say bring back the traditional plastic ones, you know the ones with actual unique desings and stuff?

Anyone else feel this way, or is it just me?
I Kind of agree, but if your saying you want metal versions of the plastic beyblades then it wont work. Alot of things had to be changed for mfb.
have you seen the hybrid wheel system
if you're talking about hybrid wheel system i mostly agree

if you're talking about pre-HWS you're dead wrong
hybrid wheel system? looool noob alert XD
The hybrid wheel system is the one we all agree looks carp compared to the previous.
The one with plastic on top is HWS
Just looked up on google some MFB pictures and from what I've seen I'm still not convinced looool.

I still agree with most of this, even though HWS sucks.
I'm no fan of the whole artistic coccept of MFB, but i really could care less. I love the HWS designs simply because it adds more color. But in the end, performance of the tops (hehehehehe. top. tops. Get it?) ascetic design.

When a Makendo beats Thermal Sagittario DF145SD, i might pick up a plastic or two.
Dude, that article is great. I totally agree with you and am glad the series is back, just I think the new blades are a bit carp loooool

oh, oh, oh idea!!! someone should do a poll, just for fun of course, asking what people prefer. that'd be cool no?
Edit the OP, and go for it, i say.
I anxiously await Kai-V to come enlighten you, because the designs are solid and subtle, e.g. Pegasis has all the elements of a Pegasus, Leone has lion claws, Aries has a ram head ...
I have to disagree I like to look of MFB even HWS.

Although I like how if someone picked up the plastic generation it would hurt them.
I'm a sadist I know Joyful_3

All the Wheel designs for the Metal system in Metal Fight Beyblade, which includes every metal Beyblade produced before the Hybrid Wheel System, have actual designs. It is too bad you did not notice any of them ... To me they were very obvious.

Note that I could make such images for all of the Beyblades, however the position of the Faces and the Wheels in the pictures I have do not fit, so editing them together is more complex.

It's been done before, I don't think a reposting of old stuff is hugely necessary.

I'm not sure what you mean unless it's, like Brad said, you can't see the design involved in them. Pre-HWS blades are full of design, sometimes moreso than some of the plastic generation beyblades.

You claim BMF ruins the "concept" but do you understand what that is and how exactly it does?
I understand that they should look great, I just dont feel it? maybe its a personnal thing or something, i dunno. i was just wondering if anyone felt the same. maybe its because i havent actually seen one in real life, just pictures. but from the pictures, all i can say is it just doesnt do anything for me lol
Too bad for you. I wonder what you are going to do when we will all be enjoying the release of Beyblade Metal Fusion and you are still stuck with your plastic things that nobody will want to play with.
I think you're wrong on Sagittario, Kai-V. It's a bow and arrow.
She's just pointing out the fact that it is by putting it near the face's eye.

No, actually. But the Sagittario Face has no arms to aid my illustration ...

By the way, Saranix : when they spin, they do not look like anything you might dislike.
Liking plastics isn't BAD, and i would certainly keep them around. But don't let the Beyblade's appearance ruin it for you. As i've learned quite a while ago, this arguement will not end until it becomes boring. Let's put it this way:

You find the Beyblades repulsive. Yet (if you take our bait) your curiosity gets the best out of you, and you want to launch one. Upon ordering a beyblade, probably your star sign, you will still be disgusted by the seemingly poor design and lack of a Dranzer on the face. Then you launch it. The top comes off of your launcher ever-so-smoothly, and you sit for a few minutes watching your new Beyblade aimlessly drift across the stadium floor. This beyblade will certainly grow on you, and you will come to love the design however repulsive it may have seemed. The top itself, and it's 'spirit' (in a different way then a winged horse flying out of your top, but rather a sentimental essence) will draw you into the game. Your a Metal Fight Blader.

Saranix, making a point out of you being alone in liking Plastic tops over the Metal Fight Series will get us nowhere, but i must suggest to you that rather than trying to look an MFB through the eyes of a stubborn Plastic fan, or a stubborn Metal Fight fan, try and open new eyes of your own and get your hands on one of these.
saranix what you said made no sense

if it didn't make sense, then I think we wouldn't understand what hes trying to get at...

And I personally love how the HWS looks as they spin >_>... but I like the Pre better just design-wise Tongue_out
i like the HWS just being able to have a clear wheel you like on a usefull wheel but the problem is there isnt that much usefull wheels in the HWS.And to me most of the MFB's look to rounded comapred to plastics
