I heard rumors that they might re release allll Beyblade seasons on DVD and Bluray but not sure how correct that actually is. Anyone have recent news on any of that?
We do not have news of that yet. It happened in DVD near the 'end' of Metal Fight Beyblade, so it might still happen now that Sunrights has the rights.
I wish they'd be uncut with an accurate and well-acted new dub! Alas...
Even just having the original Japanese with English subtitles would be great and does not seem like such a demand... But I doubt it will ever happen.
I have Beyblade Metal Fusion, Metal Masters, Metal Fury and BeyWheelz complete on DVD but it's in German. It's legit. I have photos of it on my instagram account lucio_aka_turbolibra14 . Smile

The problem is that there's probably not much financial demand for that. Outside of last fall's brief nostalgia push, Beyblade is exclusively a children's brand and so people are going to want what they remember watching as a kid.

It probably doesn't help that the later G-Rev DVDs, which contained the Japanese audio track, didn't seem to do all that well.
Sunrights is actively looking for a home video distributor to re-release the original series. It would be awesome if it was someone like Discotek, but that's doubtful.
If Discotek ever releases it, it will be on DVD.
For the original series, there wouldn't be much to gain from a Blu-Ray release. The show was animated digitally at 480p. The Metal Saga shows might have been produced at a higher resolution and would benefit from a Blu-Ray version. Both of the movies would.
Perhaps for the original series, the eps there would be remastered?
I've just been looking into seeing if there were releases, found S1 complete set in English was put out a few years ago and can still be bought easily. Too bad the other seasons of the original series haven't been released.
