I Got this burst beyblade in the mail and it seems it's not an official one and it has 4 teeth instead of three

it behaves about the same as the official ones though
and i've drawn a liking to this particular beyblade
would it be considered an illegal bey if i decided to use it in any events

would be a shame if it was, but if it is i'll be fine
just asking for clarification

-triple didn't originally come with it it was a central but it looked poorly made, it had a spike of metal coming out of the side like it was molded poorly
Did Triple come with Ragnaruk?
Can you give us the link to the auction or page where you bought it? The photographs are too blurry but it sounds like it could be fake. Therefore, it would be illegal to use in all tournaments.

As Mage mentioned also, Ragnaruk never came with a Triple Disc.
It sounds like a legitimate B-06 Ragnaruk Central Accel to me. Four teeth isn't abnormal on Ragnaruk.

EDIT: Oh, that is indeed Triple. I wasn't even looking at the Disc.

Is this a pre-owned Bey by any chance?

Yeah I bought it new but triple is a part that I swapped out
If on your Bey you have the NFC, she is the true.
Can you show us where you bought it?

Yes it has a little black chip on it so I guess it is authentic thanks everyone for helping me figure this out

This is the seller http://www.ebay.com/usr/johnmiller
not original AT ALL sry. johnmiller is a very well known fake seller

He explicitly says the toys are made by Takara-Tomy; if that isn't true, should be very easy to file a Paypal complaint. That sucks though.
A majority of the items he sells are listed as Rapidity, although he sells a few at a higher, more realistic prices for the said beyblade and lists them as takara. I've never dared to buy one of the real ones he supposedly sells. Who knows, he might sell some fake and some real, which is weird, and isn't enough to gain my trust.
Yeah, looking into it further, unfortunately this release does state Rapidity in it's description.

Really don't understand how people still get away with selling Rapidity products, especially at that price. $19 could easily net you the real deal, and still have money left over...
John Miller has been selling tens of thousands of fake beys on eBay.
It is most definitely a fake.

We need to shut him down somehow. Time to petition Hasbro?
Is it illegal to sell fakes? Otherwise, since it is clearly stated fake it seems perfectly fine.

Yeah; however, eBay's TOS clearly bans counterfeit items of any kind anyway.
I honestly don't like John Miller. It annoys me how I would sometimes accidentally click on one of his products, argh. He definitely needs to go down.
With all the money that he made by selling fake stuff I don't think he would mind.

He probably buys huge lots and sell them for ten times the price each.
Since you bought an item from a guy who sells fakes. I'd suggest you leave negative buyers feedback. Hopefully people who see that will avoid him too.
I know weve already determined the lack of authenticity, but I would like to point out that the driver has screws in it instead of the pegs TT uses. Also the plastic at the top is lighter than the rest of the driver.

Thanks for your concern guys, its really nice to have a community like this Grin
the material is quite durable I noticed. I haven't had any cracks in the layer but it is surprisingly light
apparently the beyblade pictures were taken down, but i doubt anyone cares about this topic anymore
This thread can be closed then. Hopefully you have better luck in your future Beyblade purchases.
