Just wanted to finish this up and post it before I head back to school. It's written in like half-Beywiki half-MyBB half-Wikia format, but I'll make sure I fix the formatting once it's ready to be copied over to the Wiki.

As Beyblade tournaments at Anime North are generally large in terms of both player count and prestige, the participant list featured quite a diverse group of high-level players from locations such as Texas, Connecticut, North Carolina, Michigan, and even the UK, in addition to most of the regular Toronto attendees.

==Tournament==

The tournament was conducted in Block Round Robin format, with two Blocks of seven players and one Block of six players. The two players with the highest scores in their respective Blocks advanced to the final stage, which was another Round Robin between the top six players. Participants were divided into Blocks randomly:

Block A: Dark_Mousy, Kei, Ramudu, *Ginga*, Yami, Cye Kinomiya
Block B: pyrus10000, ExtremeBlader3, LMAO, RonanTO, 1234beyblade, Cake, CalebTO
Block C: Cronus, U wot m8, ClaraM, Wombat, JesseObre, DXC-Warrior, Mitsu

===Block A===
This Block was filled with fierce competition, as it featured the highest concentration of top-ranked, experienced Bladers out of the three. Out of the six players in the Block, *Ginga* was able to advance with a 4-1 record, with victories over Kei, Ramudu, Dark_Mousy, and Cye Kinomiya and one loss to Yami. *Ginga* primarily used customs using Ronin Zirago in Element Up Mode to win his battles, while his only loss was to Yami’s  MF-H Meteo L-Drago F230GCF using MF-L Burn Gasher 85MF.With Ramudu losing all of his battles and Dark_Mousy finishing with a 2-3 record, the second spot in the finals was determined by a tiebreaker between Kei, Yami, and Cye Kinomiya, who all had 3-2 records.

During this tiebreaker, Kei's MSF-H Ronin Wyvern (Element Up Mode) CH120RSF defeated Cye Kinomiya's Lightning L-Drago CH120RF, while Yami defeated Kei, and lost to Cye Kinomiya, leaving all three with scores of 1-1 and forcing another tiebreaker. The second time around, Cye Kinomiya (MF-L Burn Gasher 85MF) defeated Kei (MSF-H Ronin Wyvern (Element Up Mode) CH120RSF) while Kei beat Yami. Finally, Cye Kinomiya used MSF-H Ronin Wyvern (Element Up Mode) CH120RSF to defeat Yami’s MF-L Earth Gasher 230MB to join *Ginga* in the finals with a record of 6-3.

===Block B===

Block B was the most upset-heavy of the three Blocks. The first Blader to advance to the finals with a score of 5-1 was ExtremeBlader3, who had defeated everyone except for 1234beyblade using MF-L Duo Cancer 230D and MF Quetzalcoatl 90RF. RonanTO and CalebTO finished with records of 0-6 and 1-5, respectively, and after several upset losses to pyrus10000’s Virgo CH120HF/S with MF-H Scythe Gemios TH170CS and Cake’s MF-L Jade Scorpio 85RSF with MSF-H Ronin Wyvern (Element Up Mode) 105RS, 1234beyblade finished with a 3-3 record, surprisingly not qualifying for the finals despite being the highest ranked player at the event. This meant that LMAO, pyrus10000, and Cake were all tied with 4-2 records, resulting in another three-way tiebreaker to determine who else would advance.

Similarly to Block A, this tiebreaker had to be redone as all three of the players ended up with one win and one loss. The first battle of the second tiebreaker resulted in pyrus10000 (MF-H L-Drago Guardian CH120CF) winning against LMAO (MF Scythe Gemios LW105MF), followed by Cake (MF-H Vulcan Horuseus CH120RSF) defeating LMAO (MF-L Duo Cygnus 230D) as well. The second tiebreaker concluded when Cake (Earth Cygnus ED145WD) narrowly defeated pyrus10000 (MF-H L-Drago Guardian CH120CF), allowing him to advance alongside ExtremeBlader3 with a score of 7-3.

===Block C===

Compared to the other two Blocks, the winners of Block C were decided relatively easily, with no need for tiebreakers. JesseObre used MF-H Flame Gasher 230CS and MF-H Earth Gemios 100EWD to defeat most of his opponents, most notably beating Mitsu’s MF-H Scythe Darkhelm 230D with MF-H Earth Gemios 100EWD. He qualified for the finals with a record of 5-1, his one loss being to Wombat’s MSF-H Bandit Wyvern (Element Up Mode) H145RSF while using MF-H Flame Gasher 230CS. The other player to advance to the finals was Wombat, who had used a variety of combos, most notably the aforementioned Bandit combo and MSF-H Ronin Zirago (Element Up Mode) 90HF/S. Wombat also had a 5-1 record, with his one loss being to ClaraM’s Ronin Zirago (Element Up Mode) W105R2F while using MSF-H Ronin Zirago (Element Up Mode) 90HF/S. As for the rest of the players in the Block, Mitsu barely missed out on the finals with a 4-2 record. ClaraM finished 3-3, with notable victories over Wombat and U wot m8, while Cronus had a 2-4 record and U wot m8 and DXC-Warrior both had 1-5 records.

===Finals===

The final round robin was almost as close of a contest as Blocks A and B, with nearly all of the top six players ending up with 3-2 or 2-3 records. However, *Ginga* was able to secure first place with  4-1 record and wins against Cye Kinomiya’s MF-H Burn Gasher 85MF, Wombat’s MF-H Pegasis R145RF, ExtremeBlader3’s MF-L Duo Gasher 230D, and finally Cake’s Thermal Pisces 85TB all using MSF Ronin Zirago (Element Up Mode) 100/CH120RF. Wombat was one of the two players who finished with a score of 3-2, defeating JesseObre’s MF-H Earth Gemios 100EWD with MSF-H Bandit Wyvern (Element Up Mode) H145RSF, Cye Kinomiya’s MF-H Burn Gasher 85MF with MSF-H Ronin Zirago (Element Up Mode) 85RF, and finally Cake’s MF-H Lightning L-Drago 85RB with MF-H Bakushin Leone 90RSF. The other finalist with a 3-2 record was JesseObre, with victories over *Ginga*’s MSF Ronin Zirago (Element Up Mode) 100RF, Cye Kinomiya’s MF-H Burn Gasher 85MF, and Cake’s Earth Cygnus ED145WD all using MF-H Flame Gasher 230CS. The two players tied with 2-3 records were ExtremeBlader3, who used MF-L Duo Gasher 230D to defeat Wombat’s MF-H Scythe Befall TH170RSF and JesseObre’s L-Drago Guardian F230CF, and Cye Kinomiya, who used MF-H Burn Gasher 85MF to defeat Cake’s MF-H Vulcan Horuseus CH120RSF and MSF-H Ronin Wyvern (Element Up Mode) CH120RSF to defeat ExtremeBlader3’s MF-L Duo Gasher 230D. After a close loss against *Ginga*, Cake finished with a 1-4 record with his only victory being against ExtremeBlader3’s MF-L Duo Gasher 230D with MF-H Vulcan Horuseus CH120RSF.

As JesseObre and Wombat were tied for the second highest score in the finals, they had to play a tiebreaker match to determine second and third place. In this battle, while JesseObre’s MF Scythe Gemios W105MF was able to outspin Wombat’s MF Flame Pegasus 230CS in the first round, Wombat was able to win by outspin in the next three rounds to win the battle 3-1, taking second place over all while JesseObre finished third.

The parts in red text indicate that I'm unsure whether that was the exact part or combo used. If anyone else who participated in this event remember any matchups/combos and could contribute to this article that would be great, especially if you were in Block A or B. Even if you didn't participate, I would really appreciate looking for any run-on sentences (listing the combos used tends to drag sentences out, but I'm not 100% sure if they break any grammatical rules) as well as a neutrality check.
Asides from the formatting (which you've already mentioned), everything looks a-okay to publish there.

Let me know if you need a hand with it, though I'm fairly confident you'll manage anyway Tongue_out
Nice article! Brings back some super fond memories to mind!

Here are a few small nitpicks:
  • I used MF-L Scythe Cancer 230MB, not MF-L Scythe Darkhelm 230D.
  • MSF-H Dark Knight Girago (Element Up Mode) CH120RF was also used by me against U wot m8's MF-H Lightning L-Drago CH120RB. That could be added to my selection of combos.
  • Quote:Cake’s MF-L Jade Scorpio 85RSF with MSF-H Ronin Wyvern Wyvang (Element Up Mode) 105RS

Could have sworn it was Darkhelm and D, but since you were the one using the combo I'd trust your memory over mine on that.

While Hasbro never actually released Wyvang (along with like half of Shogun Steel Wave 3) I thought its Hasbro named was officially confirmed to be Wyvern? It follows the trend of the Shogun Steel renames and I'm pretty sure it was dubbed Wyvern in the anime? Also in my other tournament draft when I used a Wyvang combo ~Mana~ or someone changed it to Wyvern on the Wiki page.
Didn't notice we were exclusively using Hasbro names. In that sense, I guess Wyvern would be correct?
Yeah, Hasbro names keep the consistency throughout the Wiki. Only reason we use them is because they bring in more SEO than the Takara Tomy names do.

Wyvern would be correct, as that was what was in the anime.
Thanks for writing this up Wombat! Don't have time to read over the entire thing right now, but I can let you know two of the combos I won with that I do remember:

- MF-L Earth Cygnus 100EWD
- MSF-H Ronin Wyvern (Element Up Mode) CH120RSF

The battle Cye Kinomiya won against me in the second tiebreaker was MSF-H Ronin Wyvern (Element Up Mode) CH120RSF (Kei) vs. MF-L Burn Gasher 85MF (Cye Kinomiya). In the first tiebreaker, I believe he used Lightning L Drago CH120RF against me and I beat him with MSF-H Ronin Wyvern (Element Up Mode) CH120RSF.
