Hello, All WBO sanctioned events are fan-run. Someone has to take the initiative to host, in order for the tournament to happen.
Quote from the FAQ (for india)
Can i host a WBO sanctioned event at my area?
Quote:Yes. Anyone can host WBO events.
Read the Event Proposal Guide, and How To Make A Tournament Happen - Guide if you meet the requirments mentioned there you too can host.

Read the first post of this tournament thread, this query is already answered.

Hi there Smile
Did you read the FAQ ?
It's in the first post of this thread. It answers your question
Don't ask the same questions twice, especially the ones that are answered. Take some time to read
I am coming Wink
I m coming
I am coming
Guys event is in 24 hours. due to some reason we have to cancel 4D only rule. so you can use any bey [takara, hasbro, sonokong only. no fake] but prizes will be still there.

do come as early as possible and do bring best combos so we can make this event truely epic [as it is 2nd last event till September]

most importent.... have fun!
so the tournament ended.this is like the first thing that i m posting a report about a tourney.firstly i would like to apolopize for coming late.I had told firefire that i will be on time bt the thing was that i had driving classes so i got a bit late n thats y i came late.Again sorry for that. Now comes the exciting part.We had some kids n by kids i mean some annoying arrogant kids with a rich family background. So as i entered the park with Or ZEE786 i saw that the parents of these kids were shouting on the top of their voices on FireFire. As FireFire is still new n learning he wasnt able to handle the situation. They were arguing with him that y hasnt the tourney started yet. They were kinda right but to be honest were only 15 min late. They were saying that they had come here from 9:30 i told them that the tourney thread had clearly stated in english language that the tourney will start at 10;30.secondly they were asking where is the banner for the tourney n whats the prize for winning. i explained them that WBO is a Fan run site so if people are ready to donate we can have prizes.most importantly that made me angry was that those parents were acusing us of being frauds :3. they told us that FireFire copied this site n pasted it.yeah i know it makes no sense but for some reason they all believed it.they seemed educated but still were acting like they were some illiterate idiots.WBO is fake stated by one of them(wow).i kept showing them this site but they didnt believe me,plus they wanted receipt for the passport we tried to explain how this works but noooooooooooooooo we r adults we know all the things in this world :3.they were many such instances i think ashton pinto will like to mention those. All n all we would like to ask the committee to add a age limit for indian tourneys cause this isnt the first time this is happening.
So today's event was very exhausting.
Lets start with what i can recall - madness created by foolish Indian parents

The event began at around 11:15am. I reached there at around 10:50am
In a few moments there was an argument, it all started when maxdang777s parents (and probably his uncles and aunts.. too many of them) started accusing FireFire for fraud.
Their false & baseless accusations.
- FireFire started his own website and is frauding kids, They said that they can also create a random website and make money out of it (It wasnt like we kidnapped them and forced them to play eh? )
- They wanted a receipt of the fees from FireFire (hmm. blind ye? they couldnt read the first post of the thread, I specifically mention about the passport face and the rest is written as well. how did they even come to the event in the first place)
- FireFire makes 6-7k INR from the event by cheating kids. (why the number Uncertain you slanderous wicked beasts. The parents were a lot hostile, come on we aint gotta beat up your kids.. or would we ? )
- They even asked where is the website (That is a pure form of retardness -.-), where are all these "rules" written.
- Alex Mercer was scolded by them for coming late (wow civilized fools, Alex Mercer informed FireFire that he will come late.. How much late ? 11:10am ..)
- They bashed FireFire for not adding his contact number in the thread (FireFire shouldve added his address as well, cuz who knows.. these brats can get lost anytime and they will have to contact someone, cuz they think WBO is some kindof scam right? oh i am too dumb to fall for a scam sorry)
- They asked FireFire how could he play when he is the 'host' (hmm ladies .. ye she was a lady, you wouldve known this only if you would have spent sometime reading instead of aggressively bashing innocent kids)
- They thought (they expressed this thought verbally Speechless Thats how we know) Alex Mercer, AaryanBITW .. wait, ALL of us ]excluding their 4 innocent little children] are the 'organizers'
Tired .. They asked us how we could play WTH man
- They later said that they were searching for us from 9:30am (oh we are so sorry you poor creatures, who on earth told you to come so early idiots) They claimed that they didnt know where is location B (But my dear parents we mentioned that on the Dayuuuum thread, why so retarded ? and if you were so uneducated why didnt you post in the thread about this? why didnt you just ask where to meet. obviously because you are metally unstable - logical answer hm)
- They kept muttering and slandering among themselves about FireFire and this event (you clearly Worse than lunatics ?)
- they asked the host / cohost 'where is the banner' -.- (Get a life dude, we dont need it. Would you sponsor ? )

Btw when a guy was using fake parts (yes he did have eyes and he could see... everything ... everything ... or else the left will tell me that he was a nice blameless boy) Alex Mercer said its not allowed (Actually thats a basic law in beyblade, but Hey - You can break laws if you have money ... You shouldve gone to school man, you wouldve understood the difference between fake and original; unless you are fake yourself) He started arguing with Alex ... kept lying.
They did look like white collared criminals. India you know - criminals are hailed here
They even asked why we had only 1 freaking stadium (No plz, you can be high on drugs * they were rich TBH, it is simple judgement *, You guys are rich enough to buy drugs, but we dont have the money for stadiums - actually 1 stadium was more than enough meh)
- Other stuff that i don't remember

The funny part is Alex Mercer and FireFire tried explaining this to them (though it is their fault for not reading the thread and just showing up of of thin air) but they.. they just got more crazy -.- They were on the verge of calling out the authorities - O and this is India, the authorities would listen to those 'victimized' parents while beating the hmm out of us.. I aint trolling. It is the truth or else do know that i myself could call the authorities ..
Acutally we could simply get off that park. damn them, we are not boxing bags ya know
The elders were screaming like ravenous wolves - But what? we had to be polite & civilized anyways. We are the bad guys afterall, the wolves in disguise according to them.
They came with some 4-5 kids, but just one participated AFAIK .. rest thought this is somE soRT OF NASTY SCAM, cuz who knows !? nowadays anything is possible ye? people making money with toys

All i can say is that they were ignorant about everything regarding the WBO. Ignorance aint an excuse, they were too lazy to read the thread - that is what made them stupid Thanks to their know-it-all kids

Weird... I never was confronted by these beasts... |Whenever i tried to interfer to clam the matter, they just kept ignoring me lol|. but i speak for FireFire and Alex Mercer - who knows ? They were mentally abused, so they too might forget stuff ye ?!
If you think this post is offensive, do note that this is just a little of what i remember. if you were there, you would've punched that punk there.. i mean cried, sorry - Thats how people who are offended by defenders react. They treat victims as criminals and criminals as victims
This is all that i can recall

This is not the first time parents are causing trouble. I think we need to take some measures to prevent this insanity
I would really appreciate if we could implement a age limit for events in India or at least in Mumbai.
15+ seems rational
We need people who are mature, not kids who create nuisance every single time. It has always been the same when children are around; they know nothing and pretend to know everything and so arrogant that they want to learn nothing.
EDIT -
The best example is this thread. I reported many posts and asked to delete them as they were ridiculous. But scroll through the last pages, just take a look how senseless and irresponsible kids can be
Even spoon-feeding is not helping, Now we cant shove the food down their throats

I wont be here anymore after June 26th and i dont want to see the Mumbai committee getting into more unwanted problems

I second this. Until now the participants have been above the age of 15, and those being under 15 were usually accompanied by their elder siblings/friends.
The most Parental interference we've had so far has been very little, Mostly just dropping by to make sure we take care of their kids while they roam around the park.

This time it was taken too far. Personally attacking teens and accusing them of fraud, like, seriously? Obviously they didn't read the competition thread, and came along trusting their child's interpretation of whatever FireFire had written. As rohan said, they ignored anyone other than FireFire and Alex Mercer when we tried to explain the rules, and were completely oblivious to WBO itself.
Frankly, we all enjoyed without them.
Waiting for FireFire to post the results
wow it was very awesome event yesterday. yeah some issues but very fun

Report
I reached there at 10:45am [bit late due to traffic] and seen rayx nikhil, daman, the fluffyhamster [daman's bro]were waiting thier for me, so i kept stadium to our usual place but l;ol there were lots of ants [which bite my legs a lot :p ] i started finding another good place. few mins later iMaxdang777, Legend_pegasis, mystery blade and Hyperblades came with thier parents, the had little issue finding place but i explained them abut Place B but they asked why you didn't kept a banner and where's areana [i think they thought it's WBBA and tournaments are like in MFB anime] well many guys explained what happened after that. i took my beys that i got as prize and started battles. ashton advice me to take fees first to prevent any chaos, but some blader didn't had money so they didn't played [thanks for advice ]. so we started our battles with Maxdang777 and he impressively KOed my Bahamaida Dragoon [my launcher broke in that battle, so i borrowed from alex mercer. which i wasn't very used to so i used a right spin attack combo in next battles]. most of battles went smoothly [got unusally weird result results like Death Koed attack types and defence type]. thanks all who helped me judging. me, alex mercer, zee was helping eachother for making combo, we made some good combos which work and didn't at some times :p. btw i really dunno why Alex Mercer didn't used his MSF-H Pegasis 2^ 105RF [which is like Indian Anti-Meta]
after all battles finshed we started LTD.
all all had pretty great combo. there were much less people in LTD but still battles were quite intense
In finals i given my combo MF-H Burn Sagiterio LW165SD to alex mercer to test [my threadused my coming soon]. in the end, ashton, aditya [alex mercer] and aaryan won LTD
Wow, I guess that combo turned out to be pretty good!
I'm gonna use it next time, too!
XD
Wow, I am very saddened to read about the accusations levelled at FIREFIRE by some parents who didn't understand the kind of volunteer organization that we are. Maybe preparing a flier that explains a bit about the WBO could help avoid situations like this in the future. Thanks to FIREFIRE for being able to manage the event despite this incident.

As for a minimum age requirement — it won't happen. Our motto is "All-ages Beyblade tournaments. All around the world," and we're gonna stick by that. We had lots of great attendees at Beyblade North, some as young as 7 years old. However, you're not required to admit players that are causing trouble. Feel free to give them their money back and ask them to leave in the future.
What happened definitely sounds like hell. Unfortunately, as Brad mentioned, it is really against our policy to implement any age limit, but we will really work with you guys to make sure that such situations are avoided in the future. A pamphlet to distribute in the beginning sounds like a great idea, but also stating a disclaimer before the tournament starts to let everyone know that we are a fan-run, non-profit organisation, etc. and that if they do not agree with even just one of those things, they are invited to leave immediately or simply not enter the tournament would help, I think.

I can understand.
About the flier, i wrote an entire FAQ, but no one reads it. It has everything mentioned

A few minutes ago i made a quiz paper. Should i ask all participants to first take a test before entering ?
If we keep it mandatory, at least for events in Mumbai. it will help lessen the commotion

It is not yet complete. I can add more questions if the mods agree on this

EDIT : The password is WBO
sorry for wait. Here's Results https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1...sp=sharing

i really liked both ideas, Pamphlet/Flier and Test.

People ain't reading the FAQ. What makes you think they will read a pamphlet ? They'd be busy enjoying the event

The test should be OK. Unless you want to get in trouble again and again once I'm gone
OK, but then if they enjoy the tournament, where is the problem? Why would they complain? It sounded like all the parents complained even before the event started, which is why we are proposing to give them an informational document as a disclaimer and that you guys can explicitly tell them that if they still enter the tournament, then they agree with everything in this pamphlet, whether they read it or not, so it is their own decision to acknowledge all the rules and concepts or ignore them. And of course, if they keep complaining, tell them to send an email to contact@worldbeyblade.org and I will reply promptly.

Oh . By 'they' I meant other member's.
These guys wont show up again. first 4 of them were participating. but then later only 1 guy came in for a single format.

The info in the pamphlet will be the same if not little less than the FAQ, They did not read the FAQ or probably read half of it. Yet still complained and created a mess.
Quote:tell them to send an email to contact@worldbeyblade.org and I will reply promptly.
They already claimed the website to be fake; created by firefire to make money from lil innocent kids ^^' This wont convince them.
Alex mercer opened the site in front of them, still they didnt believe anything. We were about to play on our own without them, but i dont think they heard us say that.

--------------------------
If we could do something prior to the event, before participating in the event, before getting to the event location. That would be better. I suggested that Test. Not sure if anyone is fine with it ?

I got a report of those who took part in that quiz, just today.

Well, as you mentioned, some of the parents were there due to their kids, and some people might not even have accounts but they can read the tournament details somewhere away from this thread and attend anyway, so there is really nothing you can impose on others prior to the event. Some people will eternally not pay attention on internet.
Sorry for all Chaos and issues guys

here are correct results verified by all attendees
