Kai-V has posted reports before talking about how Takara-Tomy feels Beyblade Burst is doing well beyond their expectations.

To be honest they shouldn't try forecast the success of the series in advance. A lot of people thought MFB was good initially but in the overall scheme of things it didn't match up to the success of bakuten shoot as we both know

Nevertheless i was into f bakuten shoot before and also bought many of mfb when it was on sale and even on amazon so most likely i will take a shot at this as well

Yo no offense but you have litterally no idea what you are writing about hah. Metal Fight Beyblade's success was bigger than Bakuten Shoot Beyblade's, as evidenced by TAKARA-TOMY's sale reports, TV-Tokyo's ratings and the simple fact that its anime did last one season more than Bakuten Shoot Beyblade.

Beyblade Burst's success is not being forecast at all, the series has been out for almost a year now and I have seen reports saying it had a great start already and TAKARA-TOMY were very optimistic about it. The only thing that is too early to do is compare its sales to previous Beyblade generations', but that has indeed not been reported by any news agency yet.

i was referring to the anime's not the product when talking about the concept of which was successful. Products success are are not synonymous with anime's success even though both are advertisements for spinning tops

it's like yu-gi-oh! i don't watch the anime as much post 5d's doesn't mean i still don't buy the product or play the game i just outgrew the anime/lost interest or the age group for the anime shift downward

and in beyblade burst's success i was assuming it was in conjunction of the anime not the product. If the product was released early on and enough hype and promotion was brought up then of course the product would succeed. The anime just recently started, right? That's where i was confused.

secondly products selling doesn't mean the product overall was a success i mean i am saying this in conjunction that the beyblade's from mfb may have sold more but that was because it was promoted more not the quality of the product. Quite frankly i liked mfb's beyblade but comparing it to the quality of plastic series and overall impact i would say it failed. Plastic series wasn't promoted as much and mfb but the quality of the beys was imho better.

it's like selling a carp bad quality record label that was a fad for a handful few years it may sell a lot early on but the impact it has in the long term might now be deem less or more depending on if they make more products.

I have no idea what you mean by "product quality", but both the Metal Fight Beyblade anime and toyline did better than Bakuten Shoot Beyblade's and I do not think you can just give the excuse that it was better advertised without you having any evidence of that either.

i mean the mfb beyblade were smaller in size than the previous plastic series bey's and they have been made of metal but i felt that the beys should have been a combination of plastic and metal but that is just me. making them smaller and bulkier didn't make me like them.

furthermore beyblade metal fight existence and success wouldn't be without the bakuten shoot series being created and the feedback takara got from the success and the shortcomings of initial run of the product. Same with metal fight beyblade it may have gotten it's success but it too had shortcomings too.

This might be getting a tad off topic. But yeah, try to sign your classmates up to the WBO. That way, you get referrals and can bring them to tournaments. Also, get Burst as soon as possible, so that when they come out, they know who to come to and give you mad respect for getting stuff before it hits shelves.
