Ah, 2016. It's only the second month in and it's busy as heck! Of course, us London Organisers are busy too! Presenting monthly tournaments, still in the cold of Regent's Park bandstand, but soon, plans for a change of venue are underway... Hopefully next time we will beat Winter's Chill...

Time:
The tournament itself will start at 12:00pm, so as a guide, aim to arrive for 11:30am. The Tube and public transport services are not very reliable, so plan your journey well in advance.

Location:
Regent's Park. We shall be at the Bandstand like ye olden days.

Directions:
Here is a map of Regent's Park. Head to the area marked Bandstand. We suggest taking the London Underground or Bus to Baker Street.

Tournament Format:
Burst Format. We will be doing Round Robin, seeing as we have a small participant pool. But hey, more battles, more fun! Block Round Robin if we get over 12 participants, so be ready for either!

Price:
Now, all participants must pay a £3 fee for the tournament. We accept cash only!
If you have a valid Blader Passport, entry is free! Blader Passports can be purchased on the day for £10 and last a whole year! Absolute bargain!

Prizes:
Sorry, no physical prizes this time, but credits and Faces will be awarded!
Remember that by winning the most consecutive battles in this event will grant you an exclusive Face, the Shard of Amaterios. Collect 3 Shards of Amaterios to awaken the legendary Beyblade Amaterios Aero Assault and claim it as your own!

Hosts and Judges:
This tournament is being hosted by Manicben, somewhat of a veteran and tournament host. I have chosen -HB- and Ultra (depending on numbers) to be judges this time round, due to their support and experience. If you have any queries, either here or on the day, feel free to PM Manicben or talk to one of us on the day, we would be happy to help!

Important Advice:
Despite being around friends and rivals, please remember we are in a public park. Bad behaviour and swearing will not be tolerated and will result in a ban from future events. Please keep your personal belongings with you or in a safe place while at the bandstand. If you see any personal items left around with no apparent owner, please hand it in to a judge, so we can return it to its rightful owner. Your cooperation is much appreciated.

Remember to turn up on time. If you arrive later than 12:10pm, your place will be forfeit and you will not be able to participate.

I'll definitely be coming to this one. I've purchased a few new bits and bobs and I've been practicing almost non stop, should be interesting to see if I can get more than a single win this time round!

Remember that Odin is now officially BANNED. Keep that in mind when buying new beyblades.

Everyone please read the new Burst format rulebook here. It contains vital information that will be in effect at future tournaments. Any breach of the stated rules will result in temporary suspensions or bans from the WBO. So please be careful!

It clearly says in the OP that this will be Burst format. So Phantom Orion isn't allowed.

As it is stated in the OP this is a Burst event so only Beyblades from the new burst series are allowed to be used. Any Metal Fight/Fusion/Fury/4D Beyblades cannot be used.

In a Burst Format tournament, only Burst beyblades can be used. It's the same reason why only MFB Beyblades can be used in a MFB Format tournament.

Imagine if you tried to use Plastics or HMS in a MFB tournament. You can't, or more like you're not allowed to.

The metal stuff is all I have like meteo and a few others Unhappy

And I was getting really excited 4 my first tournament

Indeed, we'd be happy to lend out some parts for use during the tournament.

As for when the next MFB tournament is, we probably won't be having one for a while. If some of us would like to have one, I don't mind hosting, but I think the general sentiment is that Burst is preferred since it's more fun.

So do come along if you feel like participating! Mind you, one member recently managed to win a tournament just by using borrowed beyblades! Grin

They're not released in west yet so that won't work. You'll have to buy them online.
