MAIN GOAL OF THIS THREAD IS TO PREVENT TEETH WEAR WHEN PRACTISING
I can almost assuredly state that adding a film of plastic does not make it impossible, the additional layer just makes it more difficult, rarer. That is due to the principle that the more you draw a contour on a shape with concave and convex sections, the more you end up with a flat line, so right now you are capturing a fatter white tab on the Driver into the space between teeth on the Layer.

I am both not certain this deserves a topic and that this is the only method to prevent bursts.
Honestly I'm not sure why you'd do this, as it kind of ruins the point of the game.
But whatever, I mean I guess it would be useful for those Youtube videos where people do cross-generation stuff.

@[Kai-V] i posted thread before it's complete by mistake you can see now it's ok. Also see videos (in links above)

I made this method to use while practicing so teeth won't wear
Useless method waste of time, doesn't define the purpose of Burst
If you think it is useless and a waste of time then don't do it or post about it. He is trying to help the community with this post and whether or not we find it useful we should appreciate the effort regardless
I wouldn't call it completely worthless.
You can probably use his method to determine how well a Layer could've been, if it hadn't been so easy to Burst. It's decent info.

I agree, I think FIREFIRE is learning a lot and improving the quality of his posts and thread quite much
He's got a good intention and whether if it's good or not, he's at least doing something new, it's not like he'd use it for tourneys.

What about you respecting my opinion?

What about you respecting my opinion?

You didn't have to be disrespectful to FIREFIRE, to state your opinion.
Your "opinion" was an insult. No, I do not respect it at all
I think saying "In my opinion" would have been clearer but okay I respect it.
All right guys, let's calm things down.

I agree it's against the purpose of Burst, but I'm sure there are others who are interested in this, and it won't cause any damage. Seems harmless.
As long as it's not used in tourneys. I think this would be good for Your Creations.
It's just a little layer of plastic, seems harmless so I may try it.
Maybe plastic grocery bags could work too?
Does cling film work?
Thank you FIREFIRE for this great suggestion. I'll try it out as soon as I can. Smile

Yeah it works but not as good as glue because glue hace little more grip

Yeah. Plastic you're using between layer needs to be soft and grippy. Also it should be 1.5 to 2mm thick

I'm sorry @[originalzankye] if you don't find it useful. Main purpose of this method is to prevent wearing of teeth, test how good layer perform if it's won't burst (I call it burst off mode), also for youtuber like you can use this method to battle burst beys agains mfb (because burst can't keep up with mfb due to bursting) I found with this method Kerbecs can keep up very well against somthing like variares r145gcf (note in video I used Variares R145RS and hand spinned Kerbecs). I tested with launcher too I got 3-2 in variares r145gcf vs Kerbecs Central Defense (burst off mode)

Expressing my opinion wasn't insulting you at any circumstance, but Burst was created to battles with burst not really with other beys from other series, reason why you don't find any videos in our channel with burst battling others than burst. For sure some people like your input and we respect you for that .

That was unwarranted for
Guys, Zankye is our long-time affiliate, but more than that, everyone is entitled to their opinions, there is no reason any person should be discouraged to express theirs as long as it respects the rules. The above comment was very hostile and you should apologise to Zankye for it. (EDIT : Well, the last comment on the previous page; you know what I mean.)

For instance, while I do not know if this method is completely useless, I really do not see why everyone is jumping on it out of joy. I am really indifferent to it.
Last words on the Zankye matter;
I believe that Zankye's wording on his first post in this thread sounded unnecessarily rude to FIREFIRE. I think FIREFIRE still deserves a formal apology, in PM or not. Affiliate or not, you can't say it didn't sound rude, no matter the intentions of the post.
Dropping this now.

FIREFIRE, does the glue-film get stuck inside of the driver at all? Or does it removes easily with no trace of it being there?
No such trace remains . Sharing my personal experience though.
@[Neo] I think it pretty much depends on how you apply the glue, though it also depends on the glue itself, it's type I mean.

It is critical about the method, not insulting FIREFIRE in any way, unlike athreya50's comment before he edited his post.
