Yeah! I'm glad this is now an official event!! If you would still like me to donate BBL Galaxy Pegasus and Meteo L-Drago, please let me know!
due to family issues i may need to withdrawal from this event completely.
Hello, my son Alan and I will be participating on this event. Looking forward to it. Let me know if you need anything else.

Awesome! @[Rkriger] Make sure that your son also has a WBO account as it makes the tournament sign up faster.

Nice to see the next generation already getting involved. I hope you two will have fun and win a lot ! Make sure to consult the top-tier list for the Standard format to prepare the best combinations possible with the parts you own, and you can even ask for advice on customizations in our "Build me a Combo!" topic inside the Beyblade Customizations forum.

If you have any questions, you can contact either the host, Alta, or me at any point.

That's great, does your son have a separate account on the WBO? he will need one in order to participate if you are both interested in playing.
If possible, could you add me to the possible attendees? I'm a little late to this, really wish I would have seen this thread earlier. My only launcher grip broke two months ago, and I haven't been on the forums since then. But if I do end up going, I'll probably fail horribly, since I have nothing new past MFB Explosion... I prefer dat limited format as you can see.
I found out I have something to take care of that day but maybe the next tournament sometime

Definitely.

Well, keep in mind that it's less about the blade and more about the blader, don't limit yourself to how good your combination is. However, if you want to make things more in your favor, do you have any incarnation of L-Drago? that blade can still outperform heavier tops because it rotates left.

I wil be bringing my case of extra parts to the event, even though I only use a single combination, so if you need a combination I have plenty of parts, 4D and Zero-G.

Just to remind everyone, the event is tomorrow, and prizes have been announced! so polish your Beyblades and try to get there around 11:00am.
Plus, losing at WBO events is still pretty fun. I am a prolific loser lately and it's still a blast. :')

I know that the Blader matters the most, it's just that since I've never participated in a tournament before I'm intentionally setting my expectations to the minimum... just in case I really am bad... Honestly I don't think I am, I mean when I was trying to improve my launch power a few months ago I was aiming for maximum spin time with a Burn Cancer 100WD and my best result was 5 min 38 sec, probably not very good, but at least I was pushing myself to the limit.

As for the tournament itself, it's not looking good, my parents are refusing to take me, so that really blows. I'm thinking of hosting my own tourney though, at Phat Collectibles (hobby store in La Habra), so hopefully I'll draft a proposal soon. Okay I need to do something soon, because of the time I have been here I've done nothing so far. I want to go to tournaments, but "they're too far away" apparently. I want to make combos and etc, but I lack competitive parts (and Beys can be expensive these days). I want to make posts that won't bore people do death, but instead I practically write whole essays!

And thanks Bey Brad Senpai for noticing me Joyful_2
Hiya!
So its taken me a while to write here with school and work but I plan on taking my little brother and cousin tomorrow to this.
Unfortunately they only have burst beyblades but Im going to lend them my beyblades. Hopefully theyre legal XD

So, i'm just letting you guys know as of now, it seems there will be two more contestants!
Yes my son has his own account on this website. Anything else needed ?

Do you guys have a phone number I can use to call if I have any other questions?, otherwise I'll see you there tomorrow at 11 a.m. Thank you

Alright, just keep in mind that they will need their own accounts on the WBO in order to participate, if they don't already have separate accounts, they can be created at the event.
Yes, those are legal blades, just keep in mind that this is Standard Format and most other Beyblades at the event will be of a heavier type and will greatly overpower those, but I will have spare parts they might be able to use, and someone else may have some extra parts they would be willing to let you borrow.
Are you yourself also going to be playing as well?

Alright good, just either let me know what their account name is in this thread, or let me know at the event so we can add them to the attendees.
If you have questions and would like to call, my number is 818-388-2894, others may use this number if they have questions as well.
Upon short notice the event is being moved to a nearby park on 11430 Chandler Blvd Los Angeles CA 91601.
If you need to text or call my number is 818-388-2894
@[Alta], I hope you have someone at Emerald Knights letting people know.

I indeed do.
Thanks to everyone who attended the event, I hope the unexpected change of venue didn't leave anyone confused and unable to attend.
But it worked out, and things will be less clumsy next time. I will work out the spreadsheets and get the results in as soon as I can, as well as get the entry fees to the WBO.
Nice, how many people came ? Did anybody who had clearly confirmed not come ? I really hope Xandrys and his brother and cousin were there despite the last-minute change of venue.

And who won, hah ?

7 people showed up in the end, Taiwo couldn't make it, and neither could Ownage or Tanzam, but everyone else made it and we signed up one person on spot, as well as entered in some that weren't originally part of the list. Xandrys and his brother made it.

It really came down to the wire between Agent-312 and I in the last battle of the finals to determine who got first place, I know him personally and the combination he had used was a strong counter to my own, it was close with a lot of ties, but in the end he managed first place 3-2, so I took second place and Thereaperyolo came in third.
Cool, too bad that so many Members could not make it, but hopefully you guys can find a date that works for everybody in the near future.

Perhaps you can just reply later when you have time, but what was your combination and Agent-312's hah ?

Yeah, the sudden change of venue also worked against us, but in the future I'll make sure it's more certain.

My combination was MSF-L Wyvang Dragooon BD145 RDF, his was Death Horogium B: D (regular plastic Horogium face). He was definitely happy to have won Meteo, it's his first MFB blade ever and it's a great place to start, his combination for the event was borrowed parts from my collection.
I was thinking of holding a tournament sometime in the future but not sure when and how

Wasn't there talk at one point about one happening in November?
