Instantaneous dimensional rift capabilities with AAA batteries if possible... guns are boring
lol

Like i said before, a remote control top would be possible if all the bottoms were the same. They'd be a free spinnning Ball, but it wouldn't spin. It would roll when you tuilt the control foward because of small gears in the bottom of the top.
^ Won't the top tilt until it hits the floor if the tip wasn't spinning?
It's impossible to make the tip not spin ...

This.
No matter the engine or what ever, it will always make the tip spin, because the upper part is larger and heavier.
Currently the Battle Strikers method is the most accurate way to control a top, I'd say ...
there should be a gimmick where ur top's tip will start spinning twice as fast!! but will ruin tip real fast. also they should make like addon parts for tops. like u can add a sword atachment wich make ur range of hitting longer. also for a stadium should make something like the attack stadium but some what bigger, and can add like water or some stuff to the surface. also for all tops, they should have a final stand attack. like right before a top dies, it will try to do 1 last effort to defeat the opposing top. one could be a sudden strong repel which might knockout or might lose due to low stamina. another can be the exact opposite.
Mind control. No joke. They have a game where you move the ball through hoops with brain waves. Move your Blade the same way!
glad to see everyone is contributing realistic and useful suggestions

I'm assuming that this is sarcasm.

It obviously is.
Hey, i just realized something. The reason i've always presented the idea of the remote controlled jog ball tips is to include more skill in beyblade, and a little less luck. Of course, my idea would limit flat and shap bottoms to be non-existent.

I was looking through some old threads (which i frequently do when the board gets slow, this place has quite a history, in all the years it's been around) when i noticed the old thread for the beystadium design face contests. Looking through them, the unusual design made by Deakailo or however it's spelled stood out, because there really wasn't a gimmic. In the end of the day, all the stadiums thus far are pretty similiar- a circle with a incline. Now, imagine if the difference between thew stadiums were as diverse as the ones between Deakilo's design and the MFB Attack Beystadium! If all the stadiums had such interesting design, even bey would be completely new. With a fresh batch of parts and a new system to best tackle the new stadiums, a new game could be very interesting. The launch would be just as important as the customization.

Perhaps the key to a good spinning top game would be in the stadiums.
Please state your point in a less convoluted matter; you try too hard...

yeah i saw a commercial for that a while ago that would be awsome if they would make beyblades like that
More bit beast !!!
HEY Nuno I really like your line of thinking as, as a matter of fact I've been working on creating a new spinning top game myslef for a while now.
I already have various ideas and projects on paper and I am starting to build some prototypes now.
I also came up with a way to control beyblades with fairly good precision from a distance (much better than rc beyblades). I will start working on that project once I am finished with building my custom grip.
anyway I will let you know how it goes.

Plus, forget everything I said in the "What would you like to see in a new spinning top game?" thread until further notice. The project was abandoned (not these lego things) due to lack of funding, leaving me in a "one man company" situation.

As if that weren't bad enough, one crucial part on the final prototype broke, leaving me with a handfull of problems. Big ones.

So, dear WBO friends, my dream has been crushed to pieces, leaving me with no motivation at all... Unhappy

I'm sorry everyone...

I thought I should post this here as well...

Awesome... if it were feasible. Drop it.

You'll pull through, Nuno. Chin up Smile

It's called Mind Flex. I have it, it's pretty fun, after the first 10 minutes or so Angry. It's a little boring, actually. One of the ways the instructions says to keep the ball in the air is to think of math questions! MATH questions! I actually did that, I was thinking, "2 + 2 = 4, 2 + 2 = 4, 2 + 2 = 5, I mean 4,". I don't recommend it.

But getting back on-topic, I know you'll think of something, Nuno.
Dont give up man! I know you can do it.
...

So the project is basically done for now? Man, i wish i could help...
It's OK, pretty much none of the suggestions in this topic were useful.
okay
1 tocontrol beyblades just jump into a vat of radioactive somethin and get telekenesis
2 u all lost ur speaking privleges
3 underwater beybattles just sayin
I wanted to see whether this would have any continued use, but apparently we are regressing back to ridiculous suggestions.
