End of an Era
Saturday, June 27 2015 - 1 PM
Hatchery Park - Elkton Maryland, United States
Limited format

It is time to give Metal Fight Beyblade a proper sendoff by holding one last tournament before we put our collections away to make room for Beyblade Burst. Join us for our End of an Era tournament. This will be our final tournament before the release of Beyblade Burst in July.

Location:
Our Maryland tournaments have, in the past, usually been held on the south-west part of the state, just outside of DC. Since nobody from that area is able to host, we're going to shake things up and play in the north-east this time around. We will be playing at Hatchery Park, in Elkton. If you for some reason stop and ask for directions to Hatchery Park while in the area, keep in mind the locals do not call it this. Simply refer to it as "Meadow Park" or just "The Park." I'm not really sure why it is listed as Hatchery Park on Google Maps. Regardless, it is the same place. The park is set up as a big circle, with three sets of pavilions. One in the center, one of the left, and one on the right. We will be playing under the pavilion on the left side of the park (Left when looking into the park from the entrance).

Prizes: [Committee, please view]
Well, it is the end of an era. It would be rather pointless to reward prizes at this point, and Beyblade Burst doesn't release until July. Could we reward face boosters for this event, please? We will likely try to hold another even in late August or early September for Beyblade Burst.

[Committee, again]
We're unsure of how many we could get to attend this event. We have had successful events in Maryland in the past, so we are certainly hoping we can do so again. A lot of Maryland users have become inactive, however, which is why this event will be held in another part of the state so that it will become possible for users from surrounding areas to attend as well. Please remove this message when/if event is approved.
Hm, you would really need a concrete list of confirmed participants, since Maryland has had some trouble organising tournaments in the past few months.

As for Face Boosters, unfortunately no, we could not make this exception; we only allow a special set of Face Boosters to be given at HMS and Plastic events since those prizes are definitely too expensive and rare.

I wasn't quite sure if we were supposed to have a definite list of members before making a thread or not (It wasn't very clear). It can always be canceled if we don't get enough people beforehand, but should I make a public thread first?

OK.
Try posting in the Maryland topic in the WBO General forum to see how many people you could get confirmed ? You could also send a few private messages.
@[Kai-V] Can we delete this now that more progress has been made towards Maryland?
Sure, if you want, although it could have stayed in this forum.
