Hi,

First post and new to blading.

I was wondering what peoples options were as to the consistency of the quality of the Takara Tomy blades.

I received a Takara Diablo nemesis bough from a reputable eBayer. The quality of casting of the fusion ring and the energy ring are well under par and does not compare to the Hasbro blades but the materials seem to be correct. The fusion wheel is loose and rattling in attack mode and the 4D base does not function correctly in ultimate balance. Not only that but it is getting destroyed by virtually everything that it comes up against.

If it is a fake it is remarkably good. The box seems perfect in it's detailing.

Is this typical or have I been unlucky?
The metal wheel is shakey, but you probably just need to figure out how the X:D works. Put of the box, Diablo Nemesis isn't very good.

BTW, this doesn't need a thread.
Does the box say TAKARA-TOMY ?

Anyways like Emimem* said this doesn't need it's own thread.
Truth be told the box does say Takara Tomy. I was just very underwhelmed by overall quality. It is the first of a number of Takara blades I have ordered on-line and I was expecting it it be better quality than the Hasbro's I own. I had bough a Rapidity Death Quetzalcoatl for next to nothing... just to check it out and it is no where as bad as that!!! LOL

To be honest, I was not really bothered with the XGrin but I had hoped to use the fusion wheel in some custom combos for testing. The XGrin does not switch out of XF in balance mode, even when turned by hand.

I am disappointed, I had read that Diablo's fusion ring was tier one in defence on http://beyblade.wikia.com/wiki/Tier_List but after testing I just can not agree.
