No, flying just can't be affected by ground moves. Hope that helps, though wombat will probably explain it to you In 6-8 sentences. I kid, but flying is only supereffective vs fighting and grass I believe.

Bug isn't a type, it's a joke, a running gag if you will. The only useful bug types IMO are scizor and volcarona. And it's so much untapped potential, I'm just waiting for a great dragonfly Pokemon.

There's no way you can disregard all them bug types as not being useful. All of them are really solid pokes.

No he was just saying have a look at those other bug types (unless you already have) before making such a statement. There honestly isn't much reason to think any of them are not good.

I have personally played with most of the big types on his list, I just prefer other Pokemon for personal preference. I don't try to say things without basis, I just personally only like volcarona and scizor.
Rotom wash is pretty sexy, I've even gone on full team sweeps with one in my baton pass team. Though I usually don't baton to him and have him mainly as a staple.

I'm recommending switching garchomp with dragonite since a flying type move like hurricane can do incredible damage
I've thought about that, but I've never used a Garchomp before and wanted to try something new.

Garachomp to a scar since I'm assuming it's be a mega
Raikou for say thundurus, zapdos or if you wanna stay full electric jolteon.

Lucario and Mawile aren't the best Pokemon, IMO. I'd trade them out for something like a Lickitung/Clefable/Chansey. Other than that, it's a pretty solid team.
