BEFORE YOU READ: This is a parody sort of based on Romeo and Juliett so expect a similar story line (besides all the death). This was a challenge by my English teacher since we just finished reading it in class. Don't expect it to be amazing hahahaha.
CHAPTER ONE
Beyblade, a new trend that has hit the world by storm. Originally, they were made mostly as a child's play toy. They have evolved greatly into something more, and a competitive era started which brought in all ages. People create their own parts, under strict regulations of course. This adds a sort of personal bond between the blader and the beyblade. In reality, they are just spinning-battling tops, but there's a connection with everyone that plays the now official sport of beyblade.
I am a freshman in high school in a small town in Indiana. Today is the day that I create my own beyblade on a 3D modeling software. As long as it meets the regulations of the World Beyblade Organization, I'll be able to use it competitively. The one I use right now is a generic attack type you can buy at local official WBO shops. The one I am creating should definitely be quite the improvement. Ten other people that know how to work the software are also making beyblades for themselves. We all are excited to see who can create the best. I have been drawing many different designs in my engineering notebook, and I have one that I am completely set on. I call it Vulpecula, named after my favorite constellation, "the fox".
The Attack Ring is three sides with postrusions I made to resemble a foxes tail. The bit chip motif is being created by my engineering teacher, Mr. Rode, who is great with designing. For the weight disk, I simply purchased a wide defense Weight Disk. For the Blade Base, I created my own which highly resembles the famous storm grip base, but the tip is made of metal rather than rubber. It will take quite a bit of time to have it authorized for use and to get it produced. There's plenty of stuff I have to do with this being the last two weeks of school, so the time will pass quickly. Not only that, but I have another task I must accomplish before the end of the school year; making sure I don't look like a fool with my crappy bey I use at the moment at the end of the year bash tournament in the gymnasium where everyone will participate.
This will either be the perfect time to embarrass myself, or impress someone I would love to impress. Hopefully she notices me. It's about time I manned up and asked her on a simple date! Last year at the same tournament, a basketball hit the stadium I was playing in and I flipped out on the kid who threw it. It turns out it was the girl I likes older brother so she wasn't happy. Since then though, we've been very good friends. Here's to me, the skinny and short Romeo. Let me do as I've wanted to do all year brain, love over beyblade right now.
