World Beyblade Organization by Fighting Spirits Inc.

I know we all have very cool ideas floating around in our heads and we either

1. are too lazy to actually write about them
   
2. have no time to write a story
   
3. don't know how to write a good story using the idea
   

And I also know that most members on the board tend to steer away from long writing competitions or competitions that require long-term commitment in general (shots fired).

So, I thought, why not have a competition where all we have to do is send in writing prompts. That's right, you don't have to write anything more than a sentence or two.

DISCLAIMER: anyone is welcome to take one of the ideas posted and proceed to write a full-out story on it later on if they so chose so if you're planning on keeping the idea to yourself, don't enter it!

Examples:

"You stumble upon a key that can open any lock. You soon learn afterward that the FBI and criminal organizations are looking for this key as well."

"You arrive in Heaven to find it abandoned."

"After receiving an email from an unknown sender, you have begun to regularly exchange email messages. One day, you find out the identity of the sender is your own computer."

"You are a kid's imaginary friend. They're growing up. You're fading away."


After the deadline, I'll put up a poll and you guys will vote for the top three.

I've received about 6 entries so far and they're all looking good now I kinda want to open up the tournament and allow multiple entries (3 max maybe). What do you guys think?

That would be great? I have so many and I want to share them to the world! (LOL XD)

OK, 3 would be good if there were multiple entries allowed.

Since the entries are no longer than a sentence or two ... I will be accepting up to 3 entries from the same person . So when the voting is up, although the voting is much more spread out among the entries, it increases your chances of winning.

I just joined, and yet I'll send in the other 2 later XD

Just did it! We should do something like this, but where the entries are shuffled and give to the participants and then they have to wright the real thing.

Our thinking is synced, it seems. I was planning to save all the entries and then use them for something along those lines (for a much later tournament of course - possible in the summer as we are nearing final exams as of now)
