I was wondering if anyone had some knowledgeable experience with Dranzer GT's EG? I've only gone through 2, since they're so rare nowadays. The first one I had was from a Hasbro Dranzer GT, and that was quite a while ago in 2003. I remember it's EG being great and then wearing out pretty quickly to the point where it isn't able to reverse the blade anymore and instead just uselessly kills spin power. The second EG I've had was from a Takara Dranzer GT (mint condition). Judging by the looks and the seller's description since I got it from eBay, he barely used it, if any. Now, within the first few days of using it, the EG was quite powerful, strong enough to reverse the blade at least one revolution. However, afterwards, the EG also got weak to the point where it couldn't reverse the blade either within a matter of a few days. Therefore, I decided to try to repair the EG with spare parts from other brand new EGs. I was somewhat successful in repairing the Takara Reverse EG by placing the spring from Dragoon GTs Turbo EG into the housing of Dranzer GTs. The only problem with this fix is that the Turbo EG releases very quickly. it's release was much stronger, albeit during a much shorter time duration as opposed to the original release (slightly weaker release, but over a longer period of time). As a result of the new release, the blade is once again able to reverse successfully, but is able to complete only one-fourth to one-half a reverse revolution on average as opposed to the consistent full turn. I've also experimented using lesser compact springs from brand new EGs (I used a brand new spring from Driger G and another new one from Dragoon G). After doing so, the release was more consistent instead of sudden with the Turbo EG spring, however, this time the release was again too weak to successfully reverse the blade. Is the original spring in Dranzer GT (either Hasbro or Takara) a special one of a kind one or is it the same as the ones found in normal right and left EGs? I assumed that only the Left Turbo EG has a different spring and all others used the same lesser compact ones, but just configured differently. I also replaced the EG with brand new gears, even the main gear that spins the shaft while keeping the CEW connector intact, but for some reason, I just can't seem to restore the original reverse function it once had. I would greatly appreciate it if anyone with the same type of experience would care to share.
