Yes I know I just suddenly cleared my thing and changed it, but I can't for some reason delete this page even though im the owner of this thread.
So instead my new page is here!
Ya know some of my friends and buddys (Along with some people who just dont believe bacause there is no proof!)
So well here's proof today I will test to see is straightening really gonna help a launch anyway does straightening ripcords really help in any way other than not damaging your launcher (This only happens with LL2 LR2 and Compact launchers)
Luckly I already have data, thanks to the Hasbro RPM beyblade XTS very cool (Yes first time Ive EVER said hasbro is cool) It tells the RPM when launching.
now first I will not be testing any string launchers at all, for they do not use ripcords/winders the tests below are with straightened ripcords
Hasbro Standard launcher Average of: 3720RPM
Light launcher 2 average rpm of: 4000RPM
My left and right Light Launcher 2: 3400RPM (This probably happened because of stripping of gears easiliy)
And the compact launcher: 4340RPM
that is all the launchers i have and that said to remain accurate I will not do any more on different launchers.
now for the bent and unstraightened ripcord tests
Hasbro LL: 3700RPM
LL2: 3800RPM
L3R: 2500RPM (Again with the gears stripping, my launcher broke in this process and I had to buy another one)
compact LL2: 2500RPM (and lots of resistance, I was forced to buy a launcher grip for this just to test)
Summary: seems that it depends on the launcher you use, and lemme tell you how hard it was to shoot a L3R without stripping gears repeadetly (I heavily modded it so it would not strip after that, much better results then)
So on the hasbro winder launchers, seems to do almost nothing, because the ripcord is very flexible.
but on any newer style of launcher,(LL2 and better) huge issues.
(PLEASE READ FOR ANYONE WHO SAYS "READ THE RULES, MAN")
Also i'm sorry for if I broke any rules doing this, my computer can't veiw the rules, so if one of you viewers were to post the rules through quote or PM, not the link, I would be VERY HAPPY!!!

Plz read the rules, and don't post stuff like this in the future Smile

And a beyblade can not spin forever.

yes on the attempt my primary goal was Is it really possible because someone kept doing things like this on youtube and I wanted to proove even if you really tried it is impossible see I tried really hard to make this work, but no matter the best possible is about 5 minutes in spin so... and ok I wont make things like this in future at least mods. But all this is to do is people say something and i see people on comments saying "I need Proof this works" and then i do it and then they see this and then they know what to do.
Read the rules, man. This would go in Your Creations.
This would be interesting if you actually did "bust the myth" as your topic title implies, but you in fact confirmed what we already knew : launches are more powerful when you use straightened winders. On that subject, we already have a video about that on the BeyChannel :

So, this is not in itself a bad thread, however the facts are known, and while we appreciate that you supply actual numbers behind this knowledge, there is not much to discuss since I doubt any serious Blader really thought it was a myth.
