I mean, to post links to videos and stuff. It'd support people who made vids better, be an easy resource for people to get vids to watch and mean that people can make video tutorials and stuff and they'll be on tap for people who don't want to search YouTube.
It'd help

You can post them in the Beyblade Hobby forum.

What I'm talking about is a dedicated section to videos. And you don't have to make vids, you can just post other people's stuff. Seriously, it'd be a really good addition to the forum.
Maybe as a sub-forum?

I don't think there's enough video-content being created to justify a sub-forum. I don't like over-categorization and this would be it.

Maybe a thread in the Media section for "Beyblade Media" and a thread in the Beyblade section for "Media of Beyblade"
Jan. 09, 2008 5:42 PM
Even so, having to scroll through a full thread and people's comments to see vids would be annoying.
And a sub-forum would encourage people to film stuff!

pretty sure youtube has a comments section

There aren't enough people making videos to warrant an entire forum. If someone is making videos, they can post their own topic about their videos.

I'm trying to say that a forum/sub-forum would encourage people to film.
Try it for a month and see what happens?

No it wouldn't. Anyone who wants to film stuff/was able to do would do it already. Making a sub-forum isn't going to suddenly inspire them.

What about you put BeyBlades Episodes in the up top menu bar then when people click it they can pick what episodes to watch. I can make a Youtube Gallery and upload all the episode from the 1st season, G-rev and v-force and the movie and put together the 1 part and 2 part of the episode together so you don't got to watch 1 and 2 by itself.

I don't think this is a concern for us. It's also serious copyright infringement.

Why wouldn't you just go to Youtube itself and just watch episodes there?

I don't no, it is just a idea
Jan. 14, 2008 9:24 AM
To have it all in a convenient place.
Like my idea for actual bey vids

Would you give it a rest already? 99% of the members here don't care about the Beyblade anime enough to watch it on Youtube, and it's copyright violation anyway.
As for the Beyblade videos, if there are enough videos I will give them a section. I'm doubting there ever will be.

I've been trying to argue as little as possible here lol, so final post:
There's already a lot of beyblade vids on YouTube. If you make a section for vids, then not only could people post vids by themselves, but people would post videos by others that they found on YouTube. People would then comment on these videos, providing constructive criticism for the person's blading style/combos/arenas. People could also post instructional videos, on how to tune bearings, how to do launch techniques etc. People may request videos from other members, so other people would start to film.
I'm an active member on a fingerboarding forum, where we have such a section and this is what happens. And fingerboarding and beyblading are pretty similar in terms of their communities

I am sorry but you really got to give this a rest, Brad already say no
Jan. 14, 2008 9:42 PM
There are a lot of Beyblade videos on Youtube, yes. Almost all of them are by the same few people, maybe 5% of them display anything actually useful.
We plan on starting an official Beywiki channel soon.

This has nothing to do with what Kaiser was talking about. There will not be a forum for these videos. There will be one topic in the Beyblade Hobby forum. I do things as they are necessary; right now this idea is not necessary.
