Dark bull has bull (which is mediocre defense) H145 (top tier attack) SD (good stamina). Shinobi saramanda has saramanda (mediocre defense) and SD (good stamina).

Saramanda is good for both defense and stamina, and it can be synchromed, giving it way more use.

Quote:Note: This is the hasbro version of Takara Tomy's Nighmare Rex UW145EWD. The Takara Tomy one comes with much better parts but can only be obtained by purchasing the Strongest Blader Set

Face: Rex
The Face depicts the Tyrannosaurus Rex.

Clear Wheel: Rex
Weight: 2.73 grams
It's designed Tyrannosaurus Rex's head, neck, and tail on the Clear Wheel two sides.
Rex has seen some use in, Attack Customizations as it is vary jagged. However, is outclassed by better Clear Wheels such as Orion,Beelzeb, and Pisces.

Use in Anti-Attack Customizations
Even though out-classed, the Clear Wheel Rex has three sides on it, which has great synergy with Diablo in the customization MF/MF-H Diablo Rex BD145RF/R2F.
Use in Attack Customizations
Even though Rex is outclassed, it has three sides on the Clear Wheel which has great synergy with Blitz in the
customization MF/MF-H Blitz Rex 85/R145RF/R2F.
Wheel: Nightmare
Weight: 32.82 grams
Nightmare despite it's shape is Horrible in attack, The wings curve into Nightmare's main contact points, giving it no Attack potential Despite this, it is not that terrible as it has found some use as a Defense Wheel, but because of this it is highly outclassed. It has no use in today's meta-game. It has been used in some Defense Customization.

Track: Switch 145
Weight: 4.2 grams
SW145 has three 'wings'. The gimmick of this Track is the ability to change from Attack to Defense by taking off the wings, and then putting them on the opposite way. The purpose of this is the ability to adapt to opponent Beys. In Attack mode, which is denoted by six grey claw-like stickers on the underside, the pointed ends of the Track are used for Smash Attack; meanwhile in Defense mode, shown by three triangular blue stickers, the edges are more rounded, in order to deflect opponent Beys. The modes are reversed for Left-Spin Beys. It is however outclassed for Defense purposes by GB145, BD145, and 230 due to the recoil it produces.

Bottom: Semi-Defense
Weight: 0.5 grams
That being said, WD would be a better choice than D for that situation, and also arguably for Stamina as well because with the even wider tip. With it, it is allowed to circle the stadium in some situations when it is on a larger angle towards the end of a battle, thus outspinning D or SD based opponents. However, sometimes this does not happen, and SD easily knocks over the wobbling WD custom before it topples over itself.

It really comes down to personal preference when deciding whether to use SD or WD because they are so closely matched. For pure Stamina, it is impossible to tell which would win a given match, but WD would prepare you for more situations by being able to take hits better than SD. Test both and decide for yourself which one works best for what you are trying to do.

Use in Stamina Customization
SD is agrueabally one of the best stamina bottoms of the D series with it's only competition being PD, WD and D. It can be use in the customization Phantom Cygnus 230/TH170D/SD.
Other Versions:
Nightmare Rex UW145EWD from the Strongest Blader Set

Overall:
This beyblade has no use in today's [i]meta
. Even though it has SD there are easier cheaper ways to obtain it. This beyblade this beyblade should only be bought for collection purposesas the only good part is SD wich can be obtained along with much more useful parts.
the italics are the things
My two cents are in the bold.

H145 as top tier attack, since when?

Bull is outclassed as well, Saramanda has very few uses, but still is used in a few Defence combos. Plus Shinobi Saramanda is much easier to attain nowadays.
Are you kidding? H145 has been top tier since forever. Bull is also good for Defense, not outclassed at all, and getting Shinobi Saramanda is harder now than Dark Bull actually.
IIRC hasbro has released it and it's in stores right now and you're not going to find Dark Bull in any local toy store... anyway I made th changes in the CW section Smile
Yes I get your point but all Salamander has is the Chrome Wheel and SD, while Dark Bull has Bull, a good Clear Wheel for Defense, H145, a good Attack Track, and SD a good Stamina tip.
hmmm I get your point I'll just put both in there Smile
Woah woah woah woah woah woah woah woah WOAH! SD, D and WD have absolutely no defense whatsoever. :\ That's needs to be put in a blender and thrown down the drain...

Also, Rex is not three sided... it has two sides, it's weight and shape are inferior to most CW's, and IIRC it was never used for anything.

Last thing... NIGHTMARE HAS BEEN A PIECE OF JUNK FROM THE VERY BEGGINING! It was never used on anything let alone defense. This thing needs some maaaaaaajor editing, like, practically a re-write of the whole thing. :\

*GASP* Gasp Glad I got that off my chest. Tongue_out

About H145, yes, it had been top-tier for attack for quite a while now (although it's definitely not competitive for defense), and it's about to be placed under Wyvang as well if the new draft is accepted. Wink I would put Dark bull and Shinobi Saramanda in there.

Another thing... if we're gonna write an article about Nightmare Rex, I think it would be more appropriate to write on the original Takara Tomy release of Nightmare Rex (IE. UW145EWD), since the SW145SD edition was just part of hasbro's metal fury line where they took all the beyblades and switched them around a bit... UW145EWD came first. I think, if anything, we should be working on that.

To do articles on all of Hasbro's re-models of everything would be a bit tedious. IMO we should write out the Takara release and put SW145SD in the "other versions" section.

Just my opinion. Smile

yes SD, D AND WD have good defence.
Um.. no, they don't. :\ SD has the lowest defense of any competitive part... D is a close second, and WD isn't far behind. Their defense is horrible. They're all exclusively stamina parts.
u dont have to get all snappy, i just think d and wd mostly are pretty good for defence

No one is getting snappy, he's just correcting your statement.

SD, D, and WD, are all good Stamina tips, like he said- they have horrible defense.
Defensive tips are more of CS, and RB.
I'v updated it, thanks for you help all of you. TBD, i'm halve way done making the TT one so i will post it up soon.

I actually tested it very soon after it was released years ago, and it was only slightly good at Defense. Nothing notable at all, but Defense was its best asset.

Really, you do not know that TAKARA-TOMY's original release of Nightmare Rex was with SW145SD with a video game ? That came out at least a year before the Nightmare Rex UW145EWD from the Blitz set.
Well, i'm nearly done the other draft so i'll have it up soon. Kai-V, what do you think needs updated the most. Or any other member, what needs done. I know that, It has no realy good parts and really outclassed by parts like "Orian" and others(like i've said in the draft) Also Kai-V, I took a look at them before i made this thread. I saw it has, little defense so i feel there's no need to even add the defense like you said. So i hope it's nearly done for, Beywiki.
galaxy blade, do you own any of these parts?
No i don't, why?
(Sep. 26, 2013  10:51 PM)galaxy blade Wrote: [ -> ]No i don't, why?

One of the requirements to make a Beywiki draft is to own or have owned the Bey in question, or I guess at least to know about its parts.
I know. I do know a lot about this Bey. I have the, Nightmare Rex UW145EWD, SW145 and SD. So i guess it's just the same as having the Bey
The punctuation in this, is OK. And there are a few grammar errors. I'll fix this and the other nightmare rex and pm them both.
