Yeah we've had a lot of bad luck with turnout.
However if you feel up to it and can bring an adequate amount of players post a proposal in the event proposal forum. I will give it a look.

Now you understand why people don't host tournaments. Finding a "venue" to hold 10+ people you don't know gets increasingly difficult as the weather gets colder.
Try to find out what area of the city people are located, NYC is huge, and traveling long distances can be difficult for some (especially the younger players). We normally gather in parks, as they are the only really free for use public areas.
Also try to interest your friends in playing, as you never know what kind of turn out you're going to get. And it would really suck to not meet the minimum player requirement after putting in all the effort of planning the event.
Well, I dont live in NUC, but it's close. Any in philidalphia coming up?
