Hey WBO, does anyone like Fullmetal Alchemist? It's my favourite anime
If you do, who is your favourite character? I like Ed, Kimbly (crimson alchemist), Greed, and Hughes cause hes so damn funny

I've never seen the original, but I watched the first 15 or so of the remake, it seems really good so far.

It started off fairly interesting but, like most anime, became too ridiculous and convoluted as it progressed for me to care anymore.
lol FMA was a series I actually enjoyed quite a bit.
FMA is awesome... Seriously, it's my favourite anime.
I'm currently watching the remake brotherhood, so far it's pretty good, it's a lot more like the manga.
Brotherhood is pretty cool.
The movie was one of the better anime movies i've seen.
Also, ed elric was my first cosplay XD
I swear Brotherhood was a fan given name though. The real name still confusingly being "Fullmetal Alchemist"
Favorite battles anybody? Ed vs greed was cool imo.

u may b more interested in FMA Brotherhood as it keeps 2 its roots better

The first series is swell. Didn't care for the movie, nor did I care for the Premium OVA collection. I tried Brotherhood on Funimation's site. I tried.
I hate Bleach, way to many filler episodes xD
And to fully enjoy FMA you have to watch it in Japanese with subs!
My favourite battle would have to be Ed vs Greed as well, since they are my favourite characters

I mean, I know the series is made in Japan and all, but it was meant to be watched in English. I mean, Amestris drawing from Nazi Germany. The country is ruled by a Fuhrer that committed genocide against a race of people he didn't like. There hasn't been a Japanese person in the show except for maybe Yoki.

Death Note is a show primarily based in Japan, yet that doesn't detract any of the English performances at all. A show is what the audience wants it to be, some will watch in Japanese, and some will watch in English.
The original FMA is awesome, brotherhood is also pretty good so far.
so like the first series is sort of off the manga and brotherhood is like one the manga and it starts all over again without continuing form the first series???????? =/ ???????
FMA is great, I watched all of the first series and that was awesome but I haven't bothered with Brotherhood because I have been reading the manga instead and I can say that if you are liking it now, just wait until it gets further in.
As for people talking about Bleach, it is the top anime for me and I don't have to worry about fillers because once again, I read the manga. Yes, I'm more of a manga person.
FMA is awesome. I use to love it, but it soon just came to me liking it.

I started to watch FMA: Brotherhood, but stopped around episode 12, because ..... well i dont know why ...i just did.
