So I just finished watching the episode in which Ryuga "dies", and now have been frantically searching the internet to find any signs of him still being alive. I have been told that he is still alive in the manga, but where? Does anyone have anything I can look at that shows he didn't die in the manga? I feel if he is still alive in the comics that it will give me reassurance that maybe, just maybe, he isn't dead in the anime. I've also heard that Shogun Steel or Zero G (I think they're the same?), just ended it's first season and nothing about Ryuga, only that he supposedly gave a Bey to some guy flaunting about that he's the new Dragon Emperor? This means he can't be dead right? Will there be a season two of Zero G? I mean neither Kenta or Kyoya have showed up yet, why not tie up those loose ends? I've also seen both Kenta's and Kyoya's older forms from the manga, but still nothing about Ryuga? And god forbid I also just found out Doji is still alive as a robot thing? Like seriously? Maybe I'm just looking for closure or reassurance that my beloved Dragon Emperor is still alive and well. Figured this would be a good place to find much needed answers. Thanks in advance to anyone who helps. c:
He's alive in spirit. Seiko must have just found dragoon and boasted.
He is definitely not dead in the manga, there is just no information about him in Zero-G, you do not see a seven-year-older form of him there. You can see his last appearances in the Ultimate Bladers Chapter 12 or the overall Chapter 42 here :

The directors voluntarily made the scene ambiguous in the anime. Personally, he is not dead. Also, in Zero-G, no he is not there, the only time we see him is as a thought and, from my interpretation of the Japanese episode, Ginga just gets an impression of Ryuuga out of Sakyo, he reminds him of Ryuuga, because he had been following Ginga's adventures a lot seven years before.
