This thread is to discuss the fourth installment in Michael Bay's Transformers film series. The film will feature a new main human character, played by Mark Wahlberg. There are many other new human characters that will star in the film, as well. But on to the interesting stuff, the Transformers. Optimus Prime and Bumblebee will both be given new vehicle modes, shown here(All images can be enlarged by clicking on them):

It is set to be released next summer. I know this seems a bit early, but with all this info I thought it would still be appropriate to make a new thread for it.
I'm guessing the new auto boys are Mirage and Blur.
Bumblebee and Hound look nice. Tbh though in terms of robot movies i'm a lot more interested in Pacific Rim.
He died in number three so how could he be? No one was gonna bother reviving him with the an allspark fragment like megatron.

Actually I didn't watch 3, I watched 2 and 1. Oh, so Starscream died. A bad news for me. Because I like cowards, hahaha.lol
I think Bumblebee looks nice for this movie. I'll have to catch up with the movies and watch 3 soon. Thanks for posting this.

All I know is, if the rumors are true, Im definitely getting the toy!
I don't weather to be excited about this one or not. I mean Mark Wahlberg being in this should be awesome, and seems like it would make for some cool fight scenes with him and possibly a human villain, not sure though.
I guess I got sort of burnt out after TF3.
Maybe this will be good though. maybe the addition of new cast members and a new direction for the story will do good for the series.
A company that was taking pics of the set called the new truck in my last post by the name Galvatron.
This could mean that Galvatron is confirmed for the new film, or it could just be an incorrect naming. What do you guys think?
Who else would they bring as an Autobot villain? Optimus Prime demolished Megatron in TF3, so your only option is to bring Galvatron. Now, it's just

But IMO, no Transformers is Transformers without Optimus and Megatron/Galvatron. If they bring Galvatron though, does that mean we get Unicron...?
Some pretty big news regarding the film. Firstly, the Dinobots have been confirmed to be in the film, what role they play is still pretty unknown. Also, the films title has been revealed to be Transformers: Age of Extinction.
What do you guys think of the news? Are you happy about the Dinobots? I definitely am! Cant wait for this movie!

I too am excited to see that the dinobot’s return and that they are not yet extinct

But… admittedly I think it’s mostly because they remind me of the Zords from Power Rangers dino thunder. Transformers has been on declining slope in quality IMO.

So, if the toys are gonna be as movie accurate as always, then I think its safe to say that not only OP's vehicle mode is being changed. But aside from the back kibble, this is looking very awesome. I really hope that the chrome parts make it into the final version. Overall, I may have to get this if the other guys yet to be released aren't way cooler. This gives me serious anticipation for what the Dinobots will look like..

I'm seriously hyped/not for this, I'm a big transformers fan, and this seems a continuation of the horror the movies have been, but the awesome action they also are.
Horrible....just...horrible.
Eh not too impressed, but I'll see it anyways.
His movies lack a lot, but the action sequences don't disappoint.
Honestly, while it wasn't good, I felt DOTM was the best in the series, it'll be interesting if my mind changes.
