OK, so I've had the basic design for a while, but I finally got a 3 Segment Grip to test out a prototype card to see how it looked in the clip.

As you can see, this is just a black & white prototype right now, and I need to move some stuff around to look better in the grip.

The idea behind the WBO Beypoint Card (I may rename them to Battlecards) is that it has a custom branded QR code that can be scanned by a smartphone to bring up that user's Battle Profile. This, of course, would show you their Beypoints, last 10 matches, etc...

Of course the card is just phase 1. I'm hoping to make a web app to go along with this, so the information is pulled up in a more phone-friendly manner.

Here's the current full-color concept:
On the card would be your username, date that you joined the WBO, and your QR code.

What I'd love to do is get a Badgy Printer, or something similar, to actually print these onto plastic cards. I guess if there's enough interest I could setup a Kickstarter or something to help cover the initial costs of getting the printer.
Cool idea!

I know a Promo Card generally fits in the the grip, but your idea is cooler, haha.
This is such a good diea Grin Let's hope the mods will support this idea.
We get this at the Tournament correct? (CT one your hosting)
Members who confirm they're coming ahead of time will get a prototype, full-color card Smile
I actually designed a WBO BeyPoint Card a number of years ago, but we never implemented it because it didn't seem practical/necessary. The addition of a QR Code to bring up the information (rather than writing it down) in your version though is a cool idea!
I had actually PM'd Kai-V about this a bit ago, and was looking for a place to print these on demand. In the end it wasn't practical to have a company print them, but a Badgy printer might just be perfect. Maybe we could work together on a kickstarter to get a machine and sell cards for the WBO.
How do I get one?
GREAT IDEA!!!! I love it! I will support this!

Well, as of right now, you can't. This is still a prototype/WIP
But when it's ready, then would I be able to get one? How do you make it? Maybe I could try it?!
Once they're ready I'll make them available. Might take some time, though.
So, would these be printable or do we have to meet you at a tournament to get one?
I'd actually like to be able to produce and sell them through the WBO.
This is a really good idea! Maybe one day the WBO can implement it into its system. Good luck with your project!
Actually that's a great idea!

But to make it more sweeter someone should make an Andriod/IOS App for tournament format by scanning there QR code and there info will be installed to the phone in a list and which format it suitable (Round Robin, Block Round Robin, Double Elimination, or Swiss if possible).

Oh!, that sounds nisshh... *^*
I love the idea - Makes me want a 3 segment launcher grip so that i'd actually be able to use it, haha.
What I think would be cool is if there was something on the card that Someone running a WBO tournament could use to register bladers at a tournament instantly and on it as well show the status of each blader in a tournament. Also, I think it would be cool if it could double as a debit card that holds credits that the blader could swipe at a tournament and spend their credits won on items being sold through the WBO at the tournament.
This sounds amazing ! Great idea, we should seriously try this !
Celestial, Did you mean my Idea?
