The brand new addition to the Assassin's Creed series is here. There's a new assassin, who is known as Edward Kenway, father of Haytham Kenway, and obviously the grandfather to Connor. He is a captain, who, according to the description, is "a young, cocky and fearsome captain whose skill with a sword and disdain for authority earn him the respect of pirate legends". He is a pirate, who is trained by the assassins. You can view the World Release Trailer here. It is $59.99 plus tax on every platform that it is currently available on:

This game installment takes place during the Golden Age of Pirates, when Edward Teach, also known as Blackbeard, was considered a dangerous looter and rather notorious. It is around the Caribbean Islands, at the beginning of the 18th Century.

This game is currently not rated, and a pre-order bonus is available from GameStop: a collectible poster by Todd McFarlane, the award-winning comic artist. For more information, visit the Assassin's Creed website.

Cool. I've saw a image in Facebook about this. But didn't know much information about it until now. Assassin's creed is One of my favorite games. I hope it came out a bit earlier.

I got Assassins Creed 3 but I didn't play it very often. I'm looking forward to see how the next one pans out.

I have played all of the games except for 3. I heard it was somewhat disappointing, but I heard the ship battles were pretty awesome. I plan on playing it before I play Black Flag, but Black Flag will hopefully be my favorite from the series.

I didn't like this game. I thought it would, but I think AC's magic is gone... It was gone after AC II. Sorry...

The game is pretty good as in... it is the same as the AC games before it. Still a lot of stabbing, a lot of tiling, a lot of the usual. The one new thing is the sea fights and those are pretty epic..

However, the story is kind of bad... also considering that the devs pretty much just had to copy-paste from the earlier AC games, ist a pretty poor work

sry ubi... but at this point you are just milking a money cow I guess...
