hey man you have some of the DVDs right? I want to buy DBz first season , sayian saga, but have they, funi., done away with the fake widescreen thing? or fixed it.

I'm fairly certain if you want the Saiyan Saga which is the first fight with Vegeta then you should be able to get those in the Ultimate Uncut Edition Singles, or if you want the old Dub-Only Ocean Cast DVD singles. I can't remember off the top of my head if they re-released those singles in a boxset. If you want the Namek saga stuff then you're SOL as that has only been released Dub-Only in Fullscreen. Namek's Saga is the only one (along with DragonBall Episodes 1-13, and Movie 1) to not recieve an uncut fullscreen release (in DB 1-13, and Movie 1, no Uncut North American release exists). I believe that FUNimation started off their fullscreen bi-lingual singles on DVD with the Ginyu stuff. I'm 100% certain they've re-released those singles, and everything else that follows it in boxsets.

Interestingly enough, the new remastered DBGT boxsets are in Fullscreen. Only two for GT and its' TV special.

I'm currently buying the faux-widescreen sets, and waiting for a Kai license. Come May I can say I own DBZ episode 1-291, DBZ Movies 1-13, Two of the TV Specials, DBGT episodes 1-64, and its' TV special. Just need them to license all the other odds and ends of the franchise, and re-release DB once the Lionsgate license expires.

yeah i like the dub, thats what i watched. so I don't care if its fullscreen, just the saiyin vegeta saga on earth. those are my favorite by far.

Yeah, well all of DBZ has been released in R1 variously. The Vegeta Saga has atleast 3 different releases (The Edited Ocean Dub, The Ultimate Uncut Edition FUNI Re-Dub, and the faux-widescreen season sets), and they should not be hard to find.

I don't even use it to hold my pants up. I don't really see the point, if your pants are falling down, buy smaller pants.

I kinda just put it on over my jeans/belt loops as a fashion accessory.

I still haven't seen that movie. A crime I know. It's looks great but I've never got around to it......I don't rent movies much.
