Me and Beyblade go way back. I remember playing the plastic Beyblades back when I was little. It was me and a very close friend, and it was really fun. About two years back my friend got back into them, around the time the new Metal Fusion Beyblades came out in America. It was pretty cool that they came back, and me and him shared some nostalgic memories letting the little things spin. Then, he got really into it. He started collecting them online, the ones from Japan. I remember by the end of his blading career he must have had up to 30 Beyblades and had probably spent over a couple hundred dollars on his collection. I also remember that he used to slave away at this site, testing Beyblades, writing stories, and I think he did some sort of comic thing. He even hosted two tournaments, and I went to them. I have to say it was pretty cool. Then, he suddenly quit. I guess he got burned out or something, but he just quit all of the sudden and eBayed his collection away.

He quit around the time the 4D Beys were just starting, so my knowledge cut off about there too. But I found some of his old stuff in my house and I decided to check up on this site. Alot has changed since my friend last showed me this site. Anyways, I decided that I needed something else to do so I'm gonna try my hand at Beyblading as my hobby. And of course, remembering my friend, I knew I had to sign up on this site.

So I am going to need help catching up. Like I said, my friend quit around the time the 4D Beys started coming out, so I know almost nothing about anything after that. Also, I feel like I'm going to focus on collecting them and testing them. The two tournaments my friend had I did terribly, and they're pretty cool toys in themselves, it would be really cool if I could have a complete collection of Metal Fight Beyblades one day. And through testing, it would allow me to contribute to the community while also making sure that the Beyblades I purchase don't just sit on a shelf.

So anyways, I hope this turns out to be a fun hobby. I'm going to begin purchasing new Beys soon (I only have a few that my friend left over) and I hope I can contribute to the community. Thanks!

EDIT: I completely forgot to include actual information about me. Oops.

I somehow can't remember, I do know it changed alot. I think he started out as Legend or Myth or something. Then it changed to something else... Pen or something like that. Not sure. Anyways, thanks!
I already replied to your PM, but I figured I'd answer here too, that your friend is Ink. (

Welcome to the WBO! I'm not sure if I remember your friend, I was probably in-active when he was on the website. I'm glad to hear you're taking interest in Beyblade, and this is defiantly the best place for it. I hope you have a good time here! Smile.

Welcome to the WBO anyway! It's nice to see another quality member join up on here who is interested in Beyblades (obviously haha), so I hope you do stay and maybe even attend tournaments in your area.
