I wouldn't go as far as saying off topic posts lead to the site's destruction. I mean, it's better to have more Beyblade-based posts on the forums, but any posts are good. I don't see how the "site is dying" when clearly people are still discussing Beyblades, having events, and making combinstions. Clearly, not as much as when TT was producing MFB, but if the WBO was created during a hiatus, it can certainly survive another- as long as the active members don't "give up" with the site, simply because it's a bit more quiet than usual.

Literally, when I logged in today, the only topics I missed that we're unrelated to Beyblade were 2 intro threads, Random Thoughts, and the Yu-Gi-Oh topic.

What's not helping is the negative attitude of the "site is dying" and just "giving up". If you're concerned about the site- then start something. Make a new topic, a new custom, or anything. He reason of members being busy with school, it's still valid. Most active members are in High School and every year=more work. It's understandable.

I mean if you were to say "no one would care or reply" or something, just look at this- http://worldbeyblade.org/Thread-Ronin-Zirago-85-RF. I made it two weeks ago and people were definitely interested and even helped test. Sure, it didn't have like 5 pages of replies, but it shows there is some intrest.

I'm sorry if this is a "rant" and I understand people's concern- but simply saying "the site is dead" doesn't help anyone.
Just to set the record straight, I never said that off-topic posts lead to the deterioration of the site, just that they aid in it. There's nothing wrong with talking about things that don't have to do with Beyblade, but anyone who's concerned about the future of the site should focus on keeping the forum alive through Beyblade discussion first and foremost.
I've almost completely lost interest in beyblade. I just stalk and rarely post in the off topic forums.
i just hope no-one is too delusional and desperately trying to claim it's strong, honestly, without the off topic forums or jinbees beyblade fan series, or even random beyblade thoughts, i would never be here.

No need to call anyone delusional.

I mean, those are only your personal interests of the site, right? Not every single member's.
actually, if you read my comment, it says "i would never be here." not "we".

i also said i hope no-one is delusional, I didn't say people were delusional. I apologise but the site is Admittingly going to be hard to recover, and i know it's our fault for losing interest but as less people come on, less people would stay on, so if we do lose interest, it's not too easy to get back because less may want to persevere to bring it back, IN MY OPINION...

No need for caps lock- sorry if you interpreted my other post as rude, I didn't mean it to be. Tongue_out

With my post I meant to mean as in, not every member feels that way- considering that you said the entire "delusional" part if members still believe the site is fine.
Today I got a Death Quetzalcoatl which has given me an instant boost of interest, finally got my favourite beyblade.

Well I'm more inclined to help, and by help I mean getting my friends to join the WBO or something.
Even during more active periods (both for me and the site) I tend to lurk a lot and post very little; while I might post more frequently while carrying out a discussion, I generally only make a few posts each day, and some days I don't post at all. However, I still spend a few hours a day just lurking Tongue_out
The only things really active as well as Beyblade related is Jinbee's Fan-story, (In which I'm thankful for), or recent purchases and the Q&A.
I don't believe Beyblade will have a new product for a few years, say 2017.
Right now Hasbro is trying to inject fluids of life into the product line and re-release older Beyblades. This won't stay around forever; obviously. Most likely 2015 will be the end of Beyblade until the next gen. No one really cares about Top Plate here; so we are left with hope and the previous generations. Let's try to keep the forums alive; and discuss things.
I only wished my series could become real, with a few tweaks to innovate it.

However, my adventure isn't over, as I shall go on a quest for Shining God MS...

Nah... Probably going for Driger MS, and many other Plastics and HMS.

The only hope we have left are Hasbro's Legends and Beywarriors so let's enjoy it while we can!
The bad state of the plastics and HMS market will always irk me but what annoys me more is that people here seem to completely accept it. As if it wasn't something our members partially caused. As if we can't undo it or at least attempt to mitigate the terrible prices. 3-dog was going to try and make it better but of course he just up and left. Great commitment there. And now sellers openly just go and use it as an excuse for the bad prices they set.
Did I do something wrong? Or did I misinterpret that for sarcasm?
He's talking about the high prices for plastics. So if you've used the excuse that plastics are already priced high to price them high, then I guess he is talking to you?

Probably not me then, so perhaps he just decided to bring it up or something?

All I said was that I would go on a quest for HMS and plastics, harmless right?
I think his point was that you mentioned you were going to look for an expensive/rarer HMS then mentioned just Driger MS, so he connected that to the ridiculous pricing for most of the HMS Beyblades.
Eh it's not all about the price but also because Driger MS is one of my favourite Beyblades which I need for my collection.

I'd call it out if someone is selling a beat up Dragoon GT for example, $50.
Unless it was limited run, special edition, Etc, it SHOULD NOT be over $100.
I don't care if it's some new Takara Pump King, still in the Plastic seal. Regardless; there's no demand for it. Would I pay $300 for a new Random Booster 1-3? Maybe, since we have limited info. But the general modern consumer of the toy line could care less about the originals. People think old=rare, and in turn it becomes a vicious cycle where no one can try the originals in our time of needing Beyblades to sustain us, because of those insanely evil prices.
Guys the post wasn't directed to Jinbee at all. I don't see how you think it could have been tbh.
I can't stand looking at the Upcoming Events List. We need more events!!!

We actually have more, but we do not update the list that often. I will go do it now.
Well, my warning has finally wore off.

Having a 30 day suspension has gave me a lot of time to think and given me time to reflect on my actions: I'm sorry for what I have done and I'll definitely never ever lie to you guys again! I understand I caused a lot of damage to the community and I really let a lot of people down...

Looking back, I was rude to some members such as Midnight and Cannon. I'm sorry for being rude to you guys and I don't expect you to forgive me.

I'm also sorry for all the tournament players out there that done Limited. My fake data has probably caused you huge losses in Beypoints. I caused most Scythe users there Beypoints such as Kai-V .

Though, some people were nice to be and forgave me nearly straight away and I'd like to thank you guys for sticking with me when I didn't deserve it.

I'm especially sorry to this whole community from the bottom of my heart. I don't expect anyone to forgive me, but I'd gladly appreciate it if most of us could move on. I understand that you guys were more upset than I was. After all, you guys trusted me and I let you down.

Um well... I've never really done an apology so I do not know what to put in it. I'm sorry if I've missed any points and I apologise for that.

Sorry everyone from the bottom of my heart for lying to this community. I hope you can believe me just this once.
To sum it up: I´m really glad to hear (read) that. Smile

@ everyone else: I´d say, let´s give him another chance.
That may be one of the most heartfelt things I've ever read on this site or anywhere else. Welcome back, please don't do anything else, because you'll be permanently banned from the website via IP address.
I agree with ~Stoney~....Let's all give him another chance!
