I try to avoid posting where I really don't contribute a whole lot, and since I stopped posting frequently in BMAC and Ask a Question my post count has stayed pretty low.

My main disappointment is that I haven't been able to be more involved with testing - I love doing it, but I have very very little in the way of money to spend. In fact, it takes months for me to buy a new Beyblade, meaning that new releases normally get tested long before I get my hands on them. With the stop of new releases, I can finally catch up a little bit, but for the most part my results and combos are still a little bit underwhelming and unusual.

Even for Limited ? Even then, your posts about Ifraid in the Beyblade Random Thoughts topic lately have been cool.
So posting this here(?), not sure where else it'd go.

For any past flyers who go to AN, how do you get your Beyblades checked/explain by the TSA? I plan on brining them on carry-on so nothing gets lost, but I'm a bit worried how to explain what they are/them seeing my Grip Setup (which is even complete with the trigger-resembling Metal Assist., haha) through the X-Ray machine.

I'm still quite surprised I don't have a warning level. I mini-mod, lots.

You probably remember it because it literally wasn't even a year ago. 4000 posts in such a shirt time is insane, haha.

Anyone else caught that?
Other people accidently misspell things all the time. It's no big deal. Uhnlss itz liek tihs.
Wow Dual, you're speaking Gangster!? Just add "man" at the end.

Really Midnight you have 0% warning? Wow, I want to follow in your footsteps. I'ma at 50%, hah.
Wait what? If you're referring to my purposely misspelled words, I was trying to speak "spellcheck hating fourth grader."

I have 10%, cuz I said something stupid on a team thread way back when.
Yes, I was referring to that. I see. It sounded Gangster to me. I guess 'cause I hear it most of the time. Sorry 'bout that. Didn't mean to sound rude.

I seem to have been buried. Tongue_out
It's been Almost 6 months since my last warning Smile

Hey, no problem, you didn't sound rude at all, haha.

If you take apart your grip (which may not actually be possible, depending on the grip), the X-Ray shouldn't be a problem. Now if they pull it out, then explaining is probably your best bet.
Yay, happy to hear that!

My last warning was 2 years ago for inbox SPAMing.

Only like 200 more members to go before we hit 90,000.

I used to travel with with suitcases full of Beyblades. Just explain that they're toys. They might open it up and ask you about it but once you see them it's pretty clear they're just toys anyway.
As carry-on, you could always just voluntarily open your bag and put certain items right into the bucket in plain view for the security check.
I'm guessing this would be the appropriate place to post:

Anyways, I was recently in a loop of Daegor42's Youtube videos he uploaded in 2011. The tournament videos he made were absolutely hilarious. Everybody who attends tournaments in Toronto now all looked so much younger, especially Pockyx3, as well as majinshadow11 Theunderdog.

Here's the link to his Youtube channel, if anybody would like to check his videos out: http://www.youtube.com/channel/UChJrMg0ooEJYzYH5GKSrQEg
What would you guys do if someone PMed you and said that there arm fell off and that they are quitting beyblade since they can't play?

Put them on my ignore list and report them. They're trolls.
Guys I've seen a lot of the advanced members are inactive. So why shouldn't they at least be stripped of their titles? They are just there never coming on. That way we know who to actually PM of we have questions.
That wouldn't be fair, as something might have happened to them, or they might be busy. If they haven't been on for years, however...
Dual's right. I've seen those advanced members do a lot around this website. You might want to search around before you post because they've made a huge impact on here...

I do know what they have done, but do they do it any more? It's like having a Basketball coach who never come to practices any more. Even if he won a championship it doesn't give him the right to just leave whenever. Some of them haven't been on in years. That is a pretty long time.
But in this metaphor you're assuming there's only one basketball coach, when, in fact, there are many. Plus they aren't getting paid. Nor do they have contracts. Nor do they run the site.

Coming from an Advanced Member:

People who are advanced members shouldn't be stripped of there title. They earned it. Look at the list of accomplishments of people like Dan, th!nk, Uwik, and many others. Some are inactive yes. They have lives, families and other stuff going on. Stripping them of the title would be a complete showing of disrespect. Id be fine with having a list of "active" & "Inactive" advanced members.

ID be all for adding a couple advanced members. Personally I think Angry face and TheBlackDragon should've been added months ago. There are others who I feel are close. But those two stick out in my mind the most right now.

Agree with this 100%

Its called respect. Bey Brad may not come on very much. But he can still post in the advanced forum or organizer forum if he wishes. Remember the past so you can look to the future. The advanced members helped make this community what it is today. Be thankful to them. Without some of the past members we wouldn't be where we are today.

And coaches go into the Hall Of Fame as long as they didn't suck. So look at the old advanced members as being in a hall of fame.

That makes more sense to me. Why don't we have something like that on the WBO? I meanI just want to be able to know if the person I PM is actually going to respond. A Hall of Fame for the retired members should be a very nice thing for them. I think stripped is the wrong terminology I meant to say removed, but at this point I realize that is even wrong. We should have a list of active/inactive Advanced Members.
Technically, not to take away from more intimate relations and perhaps making friends, but I would always post my questions in a public topic anyway, to make sure that if the person inadvertently gives a wrong answer, someone will be there to see it and correct it. Even Advanced Members are not immune to being wrong, especially since some of them are very knowledgeable in a certain format, like HMS, so it would not make much sense to contact them about Limited or something.
Dang, I really thought beating Kei twice would get my rank up a bit higher, haha.
