I think that as long as we Goodbye Spammer them first, then go delete the accounts, the IP address has been added to the banlist and there is no problem besides what may happen to the counts everywhere by deleting so many accounts ...
Funny coincidence: around the time for the WBO anniversary scavenger hunt I searched the web for a Beyblade Christmas avatar and found a cool Christmas tree with all these rare beyparts hanging from it, little did I know that it was from the WBO and BeyBrad posted it XD. It was a big part of one of the scavenger hunt questions. After a moderator (Kai-V I assume) took it down I thought I was breaking one of the community rules or something and was afraid I'd get warned XP

Thought it was fine to post now since he anniversary is long over.
I just logged in... And there are 6 new threads and 66 new posts. How ungodly...
Is it just me, or does it seem like the Maryland players never post their winning combinations?

No offense intended to any of them, of course, but it is mandatory now, and it's also a bit unfair for a competitor competing across state lines to have his winning arsenal plastered on the site for his opponent to see, while his opponent's combinations/blading style are totally unknown outside of the local tournament community.

Just a random thought. Again, no offense of any kind intended toward anyone, but it is kind of important for people to post winning combinations. :\

Anyway, only 3 SPAM bot registrations today it looks like! Encouraging, after the whopping 81 we had a few days ago...
I've noticed people being a little thin-skinned or over-sensitive to other's remarks lately. Glass houses and all that for me, but given the lack of new releases for a while now, I really think we should all be focussed on keeping the community friendly and warm, because that is a big part of what keeps people around.

So, maybe it's just me, but it would be good if people tried to keep in mind that odds are the other person didn't mean to offend them personally etc, and on the other side of things, try to be a little more careful with our words (which I know sounds strange coming from me, but a sense of humour born in Australia dies as hard as the huge spiders that contributed to it).

: I have noticed it a few times too - to be fair, it happens with other communities too from time to time, I just can't remember the specific ones off the top of my head. Right now we really need that data a lot more than we have in the past (and right now I'm not sure if staff would have time to chase it up), so it would be very good if people who place could make sure to post their combos up.

It was me LOL. Sorry if I was harsh, but yeah, if people found out because it was directly on your avatar then it wouldn't be fair. Plus I couldn't go message you otherwise you would know it was the answer and you could spread it or whatever, haha.
I wouldn't spread it XD Even when I figured it out, I still couldn't name all the parts. : P

I deleted almost all of them up until March 18th. I only deleted accounts which had obviously spambot-like usernames.
Ooooooooh.

Well, that's good too! Grin
It was exactly a year ago when I made my first post. Ah, the nooby memories, and the capital letters.

XD XD that is so funny. I never made an introduce yourself topic. I used to only post in build me a combo.
Oh jeez, my first few weeks were horrid XD

I bugged Kai-V and Hazel so badly, looking back I can't believe how ignorant I was, haha.
Don't worry midnight , a lot of new people's intro threads ask how they can attend tournaments XD

Yeah, Arupaeo, Stars, Sniper, Billyblast and geetster99 aren't too good about that, unless you were accusing me of it which if you look through the thread is unwarranted....
When I was new... I made the mistake of subscribing to Build me a Combo #2 XD
I remember when I was noob, I would say Earth Eagle is the strongest bey!XD I also remember arguing with the other members about it, see this is my first post on the WBO

and my second!XD

Sorry I can't hyperlink on my phone:\
Oh gosh, when I first singed up, and posted that Gryph Begirados 105RF thread and had the argument with Cannon about the required number of testing rounds I needed to include, LOL.

I still make some hardcore facepalms over stuff I've done in the past, haha. Those awkward moments when you realize what a pain in the neck you used to be to certain people.

: No, not you specifically. The winning combination records for MD are just lacking in general.

Although, I am anxious to stomp Stars and Geetster this Saturday, so that's a big part of it, haha. XD

I thought it was WATER KING for a second, but then I saw he wasn't banned.

I'm pretty sure it was Blitz cygnus, am I wrong?
You don't have to be banned to be able to make multiple accounts Tongue_out
It's a very good way to get banned though.
Ah, I remember what I was doing exactly a year ago.
You guys know what? I think we need to make like a "competitive concepts/glossary" thread or something. Like a go-to master source that has all the different terms we us around here (Like someone could not know what Anti-Attack was, so if they looked it up (or more likely asked it in Build Me A Combo/Ask a Question, Get an Answer and got linked to it) they could find it and a bunch of other common terms/abbreviations.)

I know Beywiki has some of this stuff, like it has a page on Zombies for instance, but it's mostly for Plastics. I feel like this could be used more for abbreviations, like LAD, BB-10, MLD, MF-H, and other terms that new users might not necessarily know.

I don't know, I kind of just got this idea after seeing a bunch of posts asking what this kind of stuff was.
I was working on something like that, don't remember how far I got (might not even have finished listing out everything I wanted to cover) but if you remind me in a couple days I'll check and send you what I had, if you want to take a shot at it.

A lot of the pages like Zombies and Compacts have various errors throughout them anyway so even those aren't too great.
I would be glad to help with that kind of project, too; I'm willing to write or edit any articles you want me to.
