That's the thing. Usernames are not the place for things like that. It's your name. It's your identity to the rest of the community. I think there are reasons why one might want to "change their identity" so to speak, but I get the sense that most username changes are pretty frivolous.

Completely changing usernames, especially if you switch around your avatar, is extremely confusing. I've used completely different names as a joke twice in the past, and managed to confuse

It was once possible to change your name whenever you'd like. I could definitely see why it was changed to 1 username change per-month though, no offence to the very well matured Dual.
I have realized that I have spent way too much time on the WBO. No, my parents didn't tell me, and it's not because of my grades.
While typing a book report, instead of typing the word 'firefighter', I typed in @[FIREFIRE]... And for some reason, I almost typed in @[Mitsu] instead of a character's name; on multiple occasions...
Is that a problem? You're clearly just showing off the strong bonds of friendship that you developed through your fighting spirit and if your teacher can't accept that, well, you just don't need that kind of negative influence in your life.

Yeah, rankings for plastic and HMS won't ever be coming for pretty much those reasons. Especially considering the low frequency of those events worldwide.
