Hey WBO Grin Here is my custom launcher handle. I know it's being held by elastic bands... I will somehow hold it on without them... Probably with glue, but it's holding very tight.
I asked a question in the Ask a Question, get an Answer thread, asking if custom grip handles are illegal (handles from other toys with a launcher stuck on, or created launcher handles from scratch). So will this handle be illegal?

Here's a video of it in action:

of course this is completely illegal
Most definitely illegal but really neat. My friend and I made a few custom grips already, you probably saw one but we only use 'em on bored combo testing like... Sag 90RF. Remember using illegal equipment and wearing down MFB's with them will make them illegal if the wear (like an RF, which is why I use my really old and crappy ones I'd never even "test" with) is really noticeable/performance affecting.

The grip is nice looking IMO, if you can ever remove the elastics it'd be neat to see. If you have a lot of launchers and you don't mind completely illegalizing them for tournament use consider using screws on the interior, glue won't last, though hot glue works wonders for adding a grip onto a launcher if you ever want to use the launcher again.

And dude...

Before you use that winder again STRAIGHTEN IT PLEASE. I cringed so hard when I saw it. Uncertain

Hahaha! Thanks man Grin
And I followed Beychannels straightening video... Won't work! I left it in there once for like 5 minutes under really hot water! Then followed the video.. Won't work... And I don't want to adjust it to much, the plastic gets weaker every time you move it around...
Thanks for your positive feedback Smile

PS. For the MFB Launcher and old launchers, is it illegal to put like some flat rubber for grip on the handle part?
Yes, the video does work. It is incredibly straightforward and if you can't get it to work you're obviously not following it correctly.
Anything that affects how the grip works or performs is illegal. Adding rubber would increase your grip on the uh... grip, therefore illegal. And the video works, I straightened all my launcher cords O.o
Maybe it's just Canadian water? Hahaha xD
Only joking... Hmmm... Seriously, all my friends can't get it either... We follow everything that it says on the video... It straightens after the process and then about 20 seconds later it just goes back all bent... Hmm... I'll watch it again...
It's not going to be straight as a board, but it shouldn't be as curved as it originally was. Are you sure you're doing the cold water part?

Aha. Finally it worked Smile I had to keep the cord in there for over 10 minutes..! But now it's fairly straight Smile Thanks.

Hahaha yeah Fly Wheels rip cords are very long... Mine is about 35 inches long! But they are way to thick to fit into a Beyblade Launcher...
