I was the same way when I got my first Dragoon bit chip... ah the memories.

Blasphemy! reason: then you don't care if your beyblades are trashed or thrown out then? Hmmm?Tired
plus in acient times when samurai or martial artist were learning to use weapons, they are often told to use them "like it was an extension of their own arm/body."
(Aug. 10, 2009  2:46 PM)Dude Wrote: [ -> ]There isn't anything between them because the blade is made of plastic and metal and, as we all know, those two things do not have a mind of their own.
There is a thing called a gamble, which we normally do with these plastic and metal things when we spin them.

Normally by fighting spirit is ripping the blade as hard as you can (going by the term "Let it Rip!") then yeah he can plus let the kid dream his dreamsConfused

Well hope you and your little bro enjoy WBO!

I think most of us would care if any of our favored possessions were treated poorly, not just our Beyblades.

Also, you just compared people playing a spinning top hobby for fun with samurai. You literally just did that.
um welcome.

You have to be joking. It's a nice way to see it, but we're not talking about a sword, a katana, an axe or anything that one would actually use to fight, it's a spinning top! A spinning top which was mass produced.

And no, I wouldn't care. Why? It's a spinning top.

I doubt this is really the place to talk about this, though...

That's assuming I do like Beyblade, the sport, and not just the anime. And also assuming you would beat me or "smash" me. Do you think I would "open my eyes" to loving a mere piece of metal by being defeated at a spinning top game? It would be like suddenly loving the Chess pieces after having been defeated at a game of Chess, it's ridiculous.

Furthermore, did I comment on your age? I hardly recall that. You can be 13, 18 or 30, for all I care, you certainly won't change my opinion towards this game. Sure, I wouldn't like to lose me beyblades, but that's only because they're expensive, not because I love them. I tend to only love something that has feelings, a thing that can love me back, you know, like a human or an animal, not a beyblade.

That's some very nice poetry, though. Using a spinning top to cut your way to victory, quite beautiful.
Alright above me, He compared the beyblade to the literal blade...Me on the other hand compared possession and materials. AND you people quit being so nit picky with words especially when your going to take them the wrong way!

I didn't mean literally, I meant taking the chance to win...

And "Dude"... If it was only a spinning top, you wouldn't care enough to come onto this site which is nearly all about it. And excuse me for have at some good memories of my child hood, Thank you very much.

Now I will appreciate it if you lot stow it! If you have nothing good to say. and Note I just do analogies not perfect comparisons like you apparently want it to be.Angry
like i said don throw words, go get ur self a hamster or a dog instead , then , only humans have feelings of loving back!animals only care for humans for food ! and am studying them!
why spending mony on pieces of metal as u claim !
inadition , i was putting my age so that i could answer previous answers not for u to know!
go sleep!

Why does everyone put my name in inverted commas? Just say Dude, already.

It is just a spinning top, but, if you had read my message throughly, you would have seen that I said that I really like the anime, which is why I'm here. We don't all have to be here for the blades, you know.
ok then don start attacking others for loving this game , we also love the anime u know! ''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''dude''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''', the anime helped us realize and discover this great game
u have to accept others as u want to be accepted!
look back and revise ur first posts ! u've been unpolite and critic since the bigining
I take both of spoke/typed after the other...?

and "dude" (sorry) Maybe because your name is used in quotes is probably due to the original vagueness when dude is used to refer to someone. example If I just used dude like normal then most couldn't tell who I speaking unless your (post or name is) quoted.

Also I did read your post and made my own knowing you just like the anime, and I didn't say anything in my last post For I would have said something that would have gotten on your bad side if not most here.

Here you got something misuderstood or you came up with this in your head. What we are trying to say is We Like The Game! Not asking you to love the metal.
If you were to go to each sport, you will definiteky find people who just love to play the game...Not the equipmentTired

If not just for the excitement of it, which a lot of you play for with the MFBs...

This is getting silly. I like the sport too, but I can't understand why there would be anything spiritual about it.

Let's just say we're all good people (me, maybe a little less) and each others opinions.

But c'mon, don't put my name in inverted commas, I hate that! Chocked_2
Okay agreed...FinallyPinching_eyes

I did apologize about putting you name in quotes already, Hell I explained even why it happens...And your the first person I've met to just use Dude as a name.

I do not love a piece of metal. I love the game, but I would not go into a burning building to take out my beyblades. Settled now?

Does anyone else find the fact that he put like ' X30 is talking back to dude, and I would assume is being an attack on the post he said earlier, lol and also correct spelling would be very appreciated. I'm 18 and typing fine, so you can too Chocked_2
OK ARGUING DONE
Evryone's gone so off subject and evryones opinion counts so let Dude have his no matter wich we he puts it.
This is ment to be a welcome thread so lets just keep it that way.
Closing this topic. Phoenix Flame and Rurouni, it's possible to love the game itself without being emotionally attached to the toy.
