Just got GIMP, too lazy and stubborn to watch tuts
Took some advice and watched tuts
Kept following tuts and opened a shop
Closed my shop and experimented on my own
Got a photoshop trial
Photoshop expires
Learning clipping masks
Moved to C4Ds
I'll update the OP with new creations!

Do you really know how to use C4Ds? Or even the GFX Basics for that matter?

I can see some minor improvement, but that's only in compo. The other basics, Depth, Blending, Flow, Lighting and others still need work. Keep trying, and seriously, USE TUTS FOR NOW! KIU!

Those tuts are for ps i use gimp and even if i had ps i dont have the resources which they have

The resources are all there. GIMP and PS are just a tad different. You should be able to mimic the stuff they do. BeybladerPotter did it with GIMP to the extent a veteran member there said that there was only the PS only effects missing, namely Gradient Maps, from her amazing work. It CAN BE DONE.

BTW The One which u call Smudged Background is not looking as a Smudged one for me!
IMO Its Just Spammed With Fractals.. If I Focus On The Pic I can See some Smudge but it got distracted by Fractals! XD!
