did any one realize that nintendo didn't invent the Ocarina
Who didn't notice? That's like saying they invented the Recorder because it's in the first game Speechless

Are you stupid or something?!?! The Ocarina is one of the most important and influential musical instruments in all of history! What is wrong with you?!

I'm pretty sure everybody else in the world knows that Nintendo did not invent it...

No offense or anything.

EDIT: Here. Do some research. It can help you.

Before OoT I'd never heard of one, but I knew Nintendo didn't invent them, I played OoT when I was 3 - 7 years old.

Same here. Yeah I didn't hear of it before, but I knew.
LA had the Ocarina before OoT, right? Better game if you ask me, but the Ocarina was almost pointless in LA. I am going to the Color Dungeon in my LADX on 3DS now.

Actually, Link got an Ocarina in A Link To The Past. You could use it to call on a bird that would fly you to 8 different places in Hyrule. (In the Light World, that is.)
Yeah in Ganon's Castle, and MAN it is easy and hard and fun at the same time
Srry for double posting, but i just beat the game, and MAN ONE OF THE BEST ENDINGS EVER! duh. majoras mask is the sequel, which game is after that? cmon nintendo 3ds it already!
I think people might find this interesting.

There was also another one but I can't seem to find it right now
Does Link eventually find navi? in which game does he find her(if he does)?
No. She is nowhere to be found, at least in the 3D games. I'm unsure about the 2D ones.

LOL so she just disappears?? Funny! Yeah my email is down for some reason so yeah....
i hate how they remade the first one because i had wasted al my time trying to see if it was new or the old one and there making one were he gets a the same sword or some thing it looks like he got his sword stolen or some thing
What are you even saying? They never remade the first game. Unless you're speaking of OoT, but even still I can't understand what you're saying.
Seriously, the timeline of LoZ is probably one if the most confusing things ever! What is after MM? Seriously i have no idea. I only know that Oot and MM are "linked" together (LOL)
Majora's Mask is part of the Child Timeline, and Ocarina of Time is where the timeline splits in two (Adult and Child timeline). I personally find the timeline to be fascinating; I've always been a fan of connection between games in a series. IIRC, Wind Waker follows the Adult Timeline and Twilight Princess follows the Child Timeline.

Heres a good explanation to how the timeline splits up:

In the end of Ocarina of Time, Link (as an adult) defeats Ganondorf and saves Hyrule. But, in Majora's Mask, he is a kid. Why? Because in that part of the timeline, he turns back into a kid (meaning he never became the Hero of Time and never beat Ganondorf), and tries to find Navi. In Wind Waker, it mentions the hero of time and how he conquered Ganondorf, so that's part of the Adult Timeline. Get it now? You should search it up; it's pretty interesting.
...Yeah, I could ask you where quite a few games take place in the timeline, but I don't wanna start another debate.

I seriously doubt there's suppose to be a clear timeline, for Zelda, unless they very clearly say so (i.e How Skyward Sword is supposed to be a prequel to Ocarina of Time) because, otherwise, there are just sooooo many things that can't fit with each other Uncertain
With all this talk about Majora's Mask, I'm kinda surprised that no one has made a corny reference to "BEN DROWNED" yet. :\

And the ending of OoT confuses me. If he goes back to being a kid, and Link doesn't become the Hero of Time and beat Ganondorf, then shouldn't Ganondorf have taken over Hyrule?
Yeah, but if he's a kid, that means he never gets the Master Sword. And IIRC, the Master Sword is what allowed Ganondorf to enter the Chamber of Sages. In Twilight Princess, Ganondorf does try to take over Hyrule, because that's part of the Child Timeline.

- not all the games take place in the Adult/Child timelines. Some, like Skyward Sword and Minish Cap take place before Ocarina of Time. Yeah, it's not 100% correct, as it's only a theory. But, the creators have hinted at the timeline, but not enough to confirm everything. The only things that are confirmed are "The Split Timeline Theory" (after Ocarina of Time). Here's a good article/wiki page about that: http://zelda.wikia.com/wiki/Split_Timeline_Theory
Playing phantom hourglass right now. i've always like toon link better. I was told that there are 3 endings to the game???
Gasp Skyward Sword has a release date! November 20th is when it'll be out.

Is that in USA or Aus or wat? Anyway my sister is da biggest fan of LOZ, she just luvs it, i want to get into it, but i asked my sister wat is a good place to start with LOZ... She said Ocarina Of Time, I do hav a N64 but on ebay its like $50.00.... But do u agree with her, Ocarina is the best place to start?
If you have a Wii, it's 1,000 Wii Points, if you have a Gamecube/Wii you can buy the Master Quest for around $15, or if you have a 3DS you can get the game for $40. It is probably the best game to start, as most, if not all, of the 3D Zelda games after it make references to it. Wind Waker and Majora's Mask especially.

Europe: November 18th
North America: November 20th (two days later Unhappy)
Australia and Japan unknown at the moment.
