World Beyblade Organization by Fighting Spirits Inc.

It was October 16th, 2012, about 2 months after they were crowned World Champions.

Miles came down the stairs that morning, having just woken up. His friends greeted him in the living room.

"Happy Birthday, Miles!!!" Devin, Cloud, and Bri said altogether.

"Awww, you guys!" Miles said happily. "You're too kind. You didn't have to do this for me..."

"Sure we did!!!" Devin said. "Come to the dining room! We have a cake and a few presents. It's not much, but we all pitched in."

They walked in and began to sing. "Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday, dear Miles! Happy Birthday to you!!!"

Miles blew out the fourteen candles on his cake and smiled.

"So, Miles...." Cloud said. "Whadaya wish for?"

"Good question to ask!" Miles said. "I wished that I would never forget my friends, no matter how old I get!"

"Awwww..." the three said in unison, and they circled Miles in a big group hug.

"Open your presents!" Bri urged.

There were three. Miles opened the first one, with Cloud's name on it. "Oooh, a new Launcher grip!!!" Miles said.

"I handmade that..." Cloud replied. "I know your other one was wearing out, so I made another one! I also painted it yellow, your favorite color!"

Miles then opened the 2nd gift, this one from Devin. "Nice, fifty dollars!!!" Miles replied.

"To spend on whatever you like!" Devin said. "The least I could do!"

Miles then opened his last gift, this one from Bri. His eyes lit up when he saw it. Even Devin and Cloud were in shock.

It was a jeweled necklace, studded with small sapphire beads and silver diamonds. "Oh my god..." Miles said in awe. "It's beautiful...."

"I tried my best to make it. I knew you would love it...." Bri remarked.

"Thanks guys..." Miles said. "Now, cake time!!!"

As the cake was cut, Miles then received a bad feeling in his mind. He had a blank stare.

"Miles? Something wrong?" Devin asked.

Miles snapped out of it. "Uh...no. Just...dozed off..." he replied.

Unsuspicious, Devin left him alone.

"Something is gonna go wrong soon." Miles thought to himself. "I'm sure of it..."

A news anchorman is on the TV.

"October 17th 2012. Princeton, North Carolina. Beyblade fights have never been superbly violent. There have been many injuries sustained before, but absolutely no horrid beatings caused by beyblade groups or gangs.

That is, until this morning...

Timmy Sawmen, age 15, was beat up in a Princeton subdivision. He claimed he and his beyblade was recklessly beat up by a group of bladers.
.
The group was the well-known evil squad called the Apocalyptic Explosion. The group, led by a captain whose identity is unknown, have been beating up people in Princeton. Rumors have started that even the champion USA team might be in danger!

Who can stop this crazy gang and their violence?!"

"I knew it..."

Miles picked up Pegasis, stood up, and walked towards his room. He looked at Devin as he passed by him. Devin could tell by his look something was wrong, so he followed.

Up the stairs, Bri noticed, and followed along...

Cloud, jamming to music, put it on pause when he spotted them. He joined.

In his room, Miles told them the whole story. Devin, Bri and Cloud took it all in.

"I say, we start our own gang of beybladers to fight back and stop them.!" Miles said. "We cannot have them taking down innocent kids in this town."

The three friends agreed.

"I'll spread word around town..." Cloud said.

"I'll make posters and banners..." Bri added.

"I'll try to get advertising on TV and radio..." Devin also added. "By the way, Miles, what will we call our group?"

Miles thought, than came up with one. "Peacefully to Assemble." he said.

"Peacefully to Assemble..." Cloud repeated.

"Peacefully to Assemble..." Bri repeated.

"Peacefully to Assemble..." Devin repeated.

The four friends nodded and went to work on the new group...

Only days after getting the news out about the group, they already had some bites.

Dan was the first to catch the advertising. He called in and joined the group instantly.

R-Dev saw it, too. "You need all the help you can get..." he told Miles, and he joined. Now the new four-person group was up to six. This was a start, but definitely not enough to take down the Apocalyptic Explosion. They needed more people, and new improvements.

At a meeting at Miles house, they showed what Improvements they had.

Devin placed his bey on the table first. He upgraded from Burn to Scythe, now becoming Scythe Corona 230D.

Cloud bought another Chrome wheel and changed up his entire setup. The Gargoyle wheel he purchased helped make Gargoyle Orojya AD145WD.

Dan laid his bey, now tricked out with more yellow, but still his favorite purple Shade clear wheel. He now had Ray Shade CH120SB, set to 145 height.

Bri pulled out her L-Drago, no longer contained a CH120, but a TR145. Now it was Meteo L-Drago TR145EWD.

"So, what changes did you guys make?" Devin asked Miles and R-Dev.

The two looked at each other, and then replied. "None..." they said in unison. They placed their unchanged beys on the table.

"Wow!" Cloud said, intrigued.

"Guys, the game is really evolving..." Bri said. "I'm not sure how much longer those beys will be able to stand up to the competition."

"It doesn't matter about competition..." Miles said. "It's about having a bey spirit..."

"It doesn't matter that you rely on "keeping up with the competition" with crazy parts changes and new strategies." R-Dev added. "If you don't have a bey spirit, You'll never win..."

The four listened to their words, and agreed with everything they said.

They were interrupted by a ring of the doorbell. "Who could that be?" Bri asked.

"I dunno..." Miles said. "I'm gonna find out. R-Dev, cover me.."

R-Dev nodded and followed him to the door. At the door stood three kids, two about R-Dev's height of six feet.

One was a sixteen-year old and had black jeans and a black sweater, along with black basketball shoes and a crooked Australian hat.

The other, which was eighteen, and apparently the leader of the group, had blonde hair, blue eyes, just like Miles, and wore an orange shirt, blue jeans, and black and white shoes.

The shorter boy, who was 11, had blonde hair, brown eyes, wore an orange long-sleeve shirt, longer orange shorts, and brown shoes.

"Uh, hi..." Miles said. "May I help you?"

"Yeah..." the blonde one replied. "I'm Bryan Wolfeh." He pointed to the shorter boy. "That's Kiku Hasate, and this is Daisuke Jauri. We saw your poster about the new team, and...we wanna join!!"

"Really now...?" R-Dev said. "Hang on a sec. Miles, come with me..."

R-Dev and Miles went away from the boys and discussed. They then returned to the boys.

"How about you three show us what you have in a three-on-three battle? I got more friends that could play..."

"Sounds like a great Idea!" Daisuke said. "Let's do it!"

They allowed them inside, to their biggest stadium. All of the gang was there...

"So guys..." Miles said. "Pick any three of us you like, and we'll battle..."

They thought for a moment. Kiku and Bryan picked their pick easily.

"You..." Kiku said, pointing to R-Dev.

"Definitely you!" Bryan replied, pointing to Miles. "Who do you want, Daisuke?"

Daisuke looked at the other options. "Him...' Daisuke said, and he pointed to Cloud. Cloud nodded and came forward. The six then approached the stadium, attaching their beys and preparing for launch. Everyone counted down together.

"3! 2! 1! LET IT RIP!!!"

The six beys launched into the stadium. Impaler, Orojya, and Pegasis all went to the center, while the other three circled super fast around them.

Normal eyes wouldn't be able to tell what the beys were, but nobody had the speed to trick Miles' eyes.

"Ah, so a Burn Lyre DF145EDS, a A Grand Canis DF145W2D, and an Earth Ara GB145DS..." he said to the boys...

All three were shocked by his call. "How did you know that?!" Daisuke said...

"I've been through a lot, and know what to expect, so I have to focus and be alert..." Miles replied...

"Hmmm..." Kiku said, pondering. "Go Canis!"

Canis struck right into Orojya. Not a budge. The added weight kept Orojya held still...

"Now you try, Ara!!" Bryan said.

Ara's attack hit Impaler. Yet again, not a budge...

"Come on, Lyre!" Daisuke shouted, and Lyre hit Pegasis. It was the strongest hit, but still, no budge...

How come you won't move?!" Bry an said, frustrated.

"We know better than to let a single hit push us back..." Cloud replied.

Then the boys came up with a strategy. Then, they did so...

"Ara, Rising to the Peak!!"

"Canis, Growling Wild!!!"

"Lyre, Powers in Harmony!!"

Two blue streaks emerged from Canis and Lyre, and a yellow from Ara. The attacks mixed, and landed on the three. As the smoke cleared, Orojya was KO'd, and Impaler stopped spinning right there...

"Ha! It's three on one! Now what are you gonna do??" Daisuke tauntingly said as their beys circled Pegasis.

Cloud and R-Dev, neither of which seemed to be impressed by the attack, looked at Miles. Miles looked back at them, and nodded to each...

With perfect timing, Miles waited until they attacked before replying. Pegasis jumped into the air, making the three clash into each other.

"I'll show you the true power of a bey spirit that made me the blader I am today..." Miles replied. "Pegasis, Special Move, Unite the Nation!!!"

The colors from his last tournament emerged, and joined his blue aura.

Scared, the three boys turned and dove for cover. The attack landed, and the area filled with smoke. As it cleared, Pegasis stood still, while Ara, Canis, and Lyre were all KO'd.

Pegasis returned to Miles. Miles caught it, and then picked up the three beys, all immensely stressed. Miles walked up to the boys, staring down at them. The boys looked down in shame and defeat.

Miles smiled. "Come with me..." he said, and he walked towards the counter. Wondering, the boys followed, while Miles' friends stood back.

"Wait here..." Miles said, stopping them at the counter. The boys stopped, and Miles headed to his work station behind the counter. He placed the beys down so the boys couldn't see them. He pulled out his tools and went to work.

The boys didn't know whether to be intrigued or horrified, because they knew Miles was a good person, but the tools he used sounded like he was destroying their beys.

Less than ten minutes later, Miles picked up the beys, still concealing them, turned and approached the boys. He then revealed a shined up Ara, Canis, and Lyre. The boys took them and looked in awe.

"I'm not done yet..." Miles said. "I have one more thing to say to you..."

The boys focused to what he was going to say. He held out his hand. "Welcome to the team..." Miles said, smiling.

The boys dropped jaws in shock. They couldn't believe it.

"Is this...really true??" Kiku said.

"Couldn't be any more real than you think it could..." R-Dev said. "Ya made it!"

"But...but...you defeated us. How could we be on this team if we lost?" Daisuke said, confused...

"Guys, you need to learn a valuable lesson..." Miles said.

"It doesn't matter what the result is..." Bri said.

"Win or lose, you play the game to have fun..." Dan added on.

"Those who can't play just for the fun of it are the ones who can't find joy in the game itself..." Cloud went on...

"That's because they don't have one vital thing . That thing is a bey spirit..." Devin added...

"A bey spirit is what separates the people who play with pride, and those who abuse the power of the beys for evil..." R-Dev included. "Unless you have a bey spirit, you shouldn't care whether you win or lose. You played the game to feel happiness..."

"And you showed your happiness in our battle today..." Miles finished, "So, welcome to the team guys!!!"

Daisuke got teary-eyed from all of the encouraging statements. He gave Miles a hug. "Thanks so much, Miles. You have no idea how much it means to us..."

Miles held him. "It's no problem... You deserve it..."

Daisuke, Bryan, and Kiku celebrated. In his mind, Miles was celebrating too. Their group has now expanded to nine. They could use more, but at least they now looked like a threat.

"We're on our way, Apocalyptic Explosion..." Miles thought. "I'd watch out if I was you..."

The next morning, Miles had sent Dan, the sneakiest of the group, to go spy on the Apocalyptic Explosion. The other eight were waiting for him. Dan didn't have to be gone thirty minutes to know what was going on.

"Well, Dan..." Miles said. "What did you find?"

"The team is made up of some of the captains that fought us in the first tournament..." Dan replied. "CD's There, G-A's there, Dark and Graham, too... They also acquired new players with good beys, one named Jakester, and another named Star..."

"Wow, those traitors!!!" Devin said, standing up. "Know the name of the captain?"

"Nope, kept it concealed as always..." Dan replied. "He looks sinister. He has a black hoodie on, white gloves, black pants, Heavy Black and White army boots, and a paintball mask with dark lenses. He's made sure you cant see a bit of him.."

"Wow... Pretty bad..." R-Dev said, straightening his hat. "So, what are they doing?"

"The leader spread out the harder players of the gang to attack other bladers..." Dan said. "If we let our team,one at a time, go to portions of Princeton, we can show em what we got..."

"Let's do it..." Miles said, handing Dan headphones with a mic. "Call out for help if you need it..."

Dan nodded and went out. He would go first...

No more than five minutes later, Dan was able to find trouble, seeing Dark Devin with his new bey circling him.

"Well, hey there, Dark..." Dan replied. "How's that team of the Apocalyptic Explosion doin for ya?"

"Better than ever..." Dark replied. "How about your gang?"

"Peacefully to Assemble is going great!!!" Dan said, purposely enthusiastic.

Dark grumbled. "If you wanna be your little showy self, let's show it in battle!" Dark connected his Spiral Sextans CH120RF to his launcher.

"Oh well, I wanted this to be peaceful..." Dan said, pulling out Ray Shade CH120SB, "but let's get this over with..." He attached Shade to his launcher.

3! 2! 1! LET IT RIP!!!

Shade and Sextans hit together in that abandoned road, creating a large spark.

"Come on, Sextans!!" Dark Commanded, "Put him down!"

"Don't worry, Shade, you got this..." Dan said calmly.

Dark grew mad at this statement. "Go Sextans, Special Move! Spiral Meltdown!!!"

Sextans flew up and charged at Shade. Shade dodged at the last second and took over from there.

"Go Shade, Special Move! Supersonic Dusk!!!" Dan commanded.

Shade flew up and KO'd Sextans in one hit.

"Heh, so now what?" Dan remarked.

"I go to the last resort my leader tells me..." Dark said, and he charged at Dan.

Dan new it was a fight, and was ready. Dark's first punch missed. Dan landed a knee into Dark's stomach. He was pushed off and got a hit on the jaw.

Dan shook off the shot and landed a kick to the chin. Dark didn't let up. He slashed Dan's cheek with some sort of blade. Dan wiped the blood off of the small nick, stopping Dark's next punch, and delivering one final smashing punch to the eye.

Dark fell to his knees. He looked up at Dan. "This is where you run..." Dan said, smirking.

Dark got up and ran away. Dan then proceeded back.

When he got back, he told the story, and Miles was impressed.

"Well done, Dan..." he said. "Now, who's next?"

"Me!" Daisuke let out. "I have a plan that I know will scare them..."

"Alright then, Daisuke..." Dan said, giving him the headphones. "You know the drill..."

Daisuke walked out, and headed to his favorite spot...

Daisuke slipped on the headphones on his head. He pulled out his Burn Lyre, and took in the breeze from atop the 23-story Hampton Inn.

He spotted an Apocalyptic Explosion Member, or A.E.M. for short. He attached Burn Lyre to his launcher.

The champion Sniper Daisuke hit the garbage can beside the blader. The blader freaked and ran away...

He turned to find another, asleep. Lyre returned, and with a precision shot, hit the hat off of his head, waking him up and running him off.

He fired many shots for what seemed like hours upon that roof, scaring every A.E.M. blader he spotted.

His next shot was interrupted when he was grabbed and constrained. He tried to yell for help into the mic, but the person pulled them off before he could say anything. The person held a knife to Daisuke's stomach.

"Hi...how's it goin?" the player said. "Sound familiar?"

Daisuke, straining to stay away from the knife, knew the voice. "G-A Walton..." Daisuke said, angered.

"Nice to meet ya again, Daisuke..." G-A said. "Did ya miss me from months ago?"

"Of all things, you bring that up? How dare you..."

"How dare me? You cursed like a sailor at me during that match. Your anger got you nowhere... I made the right decision. I thought I'd remind you..."

"You bring up the fact that you kicked me off the Irish team just to piss me off?"

"Not only that, but to prove a point. I might have aggressive behavior, but it takes a certain extent to push me over the edge..."

Daisuke growled.

"Now now, what did I just say?" G-A put the knife closer. Daisuke strained more, starting to tear up.

"There's more proof. You were weak, vulnerable, spineless, and had no skill whatsoever! I would never accept a pathetic blader such as you onto the national team!!"

More tears flowed from Daisuke's eyes. G-A then slowly pushed the knife into Daisuke's stomach. No blood leaked, but the pain was far too much for Daisuke's fragile body. Daisuke couldn't stand the power, falling to his knees in pain.

As he laid there, G-A kicked him one more time in the chest, almost stopping Daisuke's breathing. G-A picked up Lyre and showed it in front of Daisuke's face...

"I'd suggest getting rid of this. You're too pathetic to own any beyblade..." He dropped it and walked away...

Daisuke, pain-filled and broken, tried desperately to reach for the mic. He grabbed it and pulled it to him.

"M-M-Miles..." Daisuke said, tear-filled. "I...need help...Hampton Inn roof....can't move..."

"We're on it!" Miles replied through the mic.

Daisuke could feel his consciousness slipping away from him. "H...Hurry..." he quickly said, and he slipped...

Daisuke woke up in a bed. He was back at Miles' house.

"H...Huh? H-How did I get beck to the house?" Daisuke said, confused.

Miles walked through the door to find him awake. "Oh, hey Daisuke! I'm so relieved you're awake!" Miles said. "You have no idea how scared the team was..."

"How..long was I out?"

"Only about fifteen minutes... You looked pretty beat up..."

Daisuke lifted up his shirt to find the cut G-A gave him on his side, open. but not bleeding at all...

"Wow..." Miles said. "How'd that happen?"

Daisuke remembered the entire incident. "G-A..." Daisuke said, growling...

"G-A Walton? The Irishmen I beat in the first round of the first tournament?"

"Yeah. I was sniping my bey towards A.E.M. members on the ground from a rooftop. While I was doing it, G-A trapped me, reminding me of how I was a failure for not being confident on the team..."

"You mean, the Irish team?! You don't look Irish..."

"But I am. He said I was too weak and spineless to be on the team, so he kicked me. He continued insulting me, giving me this cut. He threw me onto the ground. Then, he picked up my poor Lyre, saying i didn't deserve to have it. He threw it on the ground and walked away, leaving me beated up..."

"I can't believe it... I better have one of the others take care of hi--"

"No, you can't! It's not that I don't want you to, but it's a personal thing between me and him. He insulted me and belittled me far too much, and I gotta do something about it..." He sighed. "I just wish I had the guts and strength to fight back..." A tear came to his eye...

"Awwww...." Miles said, giving him a hug. "Don't worry man. The team's here. We'll help..."

Daisuke said nothing, but accepted the hug...

Meanwhile, the group allowed Bri to go out next to fight. More daring than usual, she decided to find someone who was a challenge. So, who else to find but French attack-type enthusiast CD Collins.

She spotted him in a back alley way, asleep. Instead of his normal all-red clothing, He had Red silky pants with a white stripe down each side. He had a Matching Red silky jacket, red and white sneakers, and a backwards White hat with a red NIKE on it.

Bri fired her bey at him, grazing the top of his hat. He jolted awake. When he spotted her, he grew angry.

"It's time to fight, CD, not sleep..." she remarked. "I want a fight, to find more proof that Peacefully to Assemble is better than the A.E.M. I'm not intimidated my you. You might have the weight, but I have the skill...."

CD stood up on his six-foot-four frame, looking down at the five-nine Bri. "Well then..." He said..." Let's see how much, size really matters..."

Bri showed her Meteo L-Drago TR145EWD. CD pulled out his MF-H Flash Draco S130, now with an MF.

They attached and were ready for launch.

3! 2! 1! LET IT RIP!!!

L-Drago stayed center while Draco circled slowly.

Without warning, Draco charged at L-Drago. L-Drago swiftly dodged to the left just in time. Draco charged again, and L-Drago swerved to the right, avoiding the attack again.

This made CD angry. He was tired of attacking and missing so many times. He let out his Special Move. "Draco, Inferno Tirade!!!" he commanded.

Draco sped up, and charged several times at L-Drago. L-Draog dodged every one, and the two started circling each other, Draco progressively getting closer to L-Drago.

"If one hit lands, It's over!" CD said, grinning.

Bri was quiet. "Wait for it..." she told herself.

Draco continued to get closer.

"Wait for it..."

Draco just barely missed.

"NOW!!" she screamed out. "Special Move, Dragon Fire Rampage!!!"

L-Drago flew up and struck Draco right on the MF-H. However, Draco didn't stop. Bri however, wasn't done. Catching CD off, she commanded L-Drago to jump on top of Draco. Draoc and L-Draog both started losing spin. As Draco stopped, L-Drago slid off, barely spinning, but spinning nonetheless. She had won.

"No way!!!" CD said, in shock. "No way! How did you keep spinning?!"

"Triple Roller 145 helps my bey roll on more. It's alive while it's dead, like a zombie!" Bri replied.

CD, furious, then charged at Bri, ready to beat her down.

It only took one uppercut for Bri to get away safely. Landing CD right under the chin, she punched him, grabble L-Drago and ran.

She got back to Miles' house, giving a thumbs up to show she was successful.

"Great job, Bri..." Miles said. "So, who's next?"

"I wanna go..." Devin replied. "I saw a newcomer to the A.E.M. just today, and I wanna show em what it takes!"

WIth permission granted, Devin set out, holding his Scythe Corona 230D in his hands.

Devin was much less noticeable when he was outside then before. He wore long Blue UNC silky shorts, despite the dropping temperatures, a White silky shirt, a basketball jersey with number 14 on the back, Black and White basketball shoes, and his signature "Coal Miner" cap, instead of his last year article of all-blue...

He walked by maybe a dozen A.E.M. members that didn't do a thing to him. He told Miles over the phone that his mission, relating to the A.E.M., had something to do with a member living farther away, and that he would need an extra day. Miles allowed him to do so, and Devin walked the way to his destination...

The next morning, In beautiful Hope Mills, Devin walked down the street, he saw a female, about age seventeen, messing with her beyblades outside. He looked at her and winked. She blushed a little, but smiled back.

Devin kept walking. Finally, he found his target's house. The parents seemed to be leaving, but he didn't see his person.

"Excuse me..." Devin said to the parents. "Is Jakester Holt home?"

"Um...yes." The Mother said. "What do you want him for?"

"Oh I just wanted to ask him something beyblade-related. i heard he liked it, so I thought I'd come meet him!"

"Oh, well that's nice!" the Father said. "He told us he was part of a group for that. The A.E.M. I believe?"

Devin's rose his eyebrows in interest.

"Anyways, yeah, you go talk to him, but don't stay too long, please..." the Father insisted.

"Thank you! I promise, I won't..." Devin replied. "He approached the door as the parents drove down the street and out of sight. Devin knocked.

A boy, about eighteen, answered the door. He wore a black shirt and black pants, both with a blue streak down the sides, with matching shoes. He also sprayed his hair a matching color, and his eyes were also blue...

"Hi Jakester... Remember me..." Devin said, half-cocked.

Jakester knew it was Devin. He tried to slam the door in his face, but Devin's much stronger bionic arms forced it open.

"Please, get away from me!" Jakester yelled. "What do you want?"

Devin showed his tag for his group Peacefully to Assemble. "Let's have war..." Devin simply said.

Jakester, enraged, pulled out his Lightning L-Drago ED145FB and attached it. Devin attached Corona.

3! 2! 1! LET IT RIP!!!"

Corona crashed into the much weaker L-Drago with great force.

Scared already, Jakester and his bey made a dash out the door. Devin wasn't far behind.

"What's wrong, Jakey?!" Devin remarked. "Since I'VE come knockin', ya can't fight anymore?!"

This was true. Jakester had always been a bully to Devin, and would also always make the first move. Now that Devin's turned offensive, Jakester was afraid for his life.

Jakester grew more panicked. "Just get away from me!!!" Jakester yelled out in desperation.

Remarkable as it was, Devin started gaining ground on Jakester, getting closer and closer, eventually tackling him to the ground and smashing his Corona into L-Drago.

Jakester stared up at Devin. He looked confident, but Devin saw the fear easily.

"Come on, Jakey!" Devin remarked again. "Fight me again! I missed those times!"

As Devin smirked, Jakester grew furious. He pushed Devin off and started swinging punches in desperation.

Every few hits landing, Devin started backing up, and so did Corona. L-Drago charged at Corona like Jakester charged at Devin.

"L-Drago, Special Move!! White Strike of Fury!!!" Jakester yelled out, raising his fist in the air. L-Drago flew up and glowed white. Jakester's fist also glowed white. As L-Drago charged, Devin rolled to the right. He avoided Jakester's punch. Beside him, Corona avoided L-Drago.

Devin hopped up and went to work on Jakester, knocking him far backwards. Jakester stood on his knees, begging for mercy. Devin held Jakester by his hair, and rose his hand for a chop. "Corona, Special Move! Rainbow Gemstone!!!" Devin said.

Corona flew up with a red aura, with rainbows emerging from the bey, and the red aura surrounded Devin's hand. Corona struck heavily into L-Drago, KO-ing it...

Jakester stared even more scared into Devin's eyes. Devin brought the chop downward very fast, stopping just before Jakester's cheek.

Panting, Jakester stared, immobilized. Devin simply flicked him on the forehead, and that was enough to pass Jakester out. Devin picked him up, setting him and his bey on the couch. After checking that nothing was screwed up, Devin left.

The next day, Devin returned. Miles had the feeling that Devin contradicted the team's name with what he did.

"I heard "let's have war" in those headphones..." Miles said, smirking.

"In order to have peace we must have war..." Devin said.

Anyways, Bryan Wolfeh decided to go next, saying he was gonna show his skills, Australian-style. How about targeting fellow Australian Stamina user, Graham Eskuwe?

Bryan searched for Graham in his usual spot in a back alleyway, but he wasn't there.

Suddenly, Graham jumped from one of the roofs in the alleyway. Bryan dodged.

Graham saw Bryan's face and pulled out Spiral Pyxis AD145WD. Bryan pulled out his Earth Ara GB145DS.

3! 2! 1! LET IT RIP!!!

Ara and Pyzis clashed in the alleyway. The explosion blew off part of the empty old building, closing the opening behind Bryan completely.

There was nowhere to go but up, and up was too far away...

Bryan's Ara and Graham's Pyxis clashed creating sparks that illuminated the small enclosed space. The sparks were flying dangerously close to both bladers.

Bryan backed up as far as he could, but the sparks were still close. Graham stood closer, not worrying about his safety. Either of them could catch fire at any given moment, and who knows if anyone would arrive to help in time...

"You can see, I've made this quite the fight. Someone's not escaping this battle!" Graham said. Pyxis pushed Ara closer, the parks flying as high as Bryan's hair.

"No Ara, please!!!" Bryan begged. "Don't let me die!"

Bryan thought, panicked. "I can't die here!" he thought. "But...I can't let Graham get hurt either! Sure, we're rivals, but Peacefully to Assemble is about friendly clean blading, not for hurting someone!"

"Come on, Ara!! Push!!!" Bryan commanded. "Special Move! Ritual of the Charge!!!"

Ara used tremendous force to push Pyxis back. Bryan tried to aim for the corner, where the sparks could miss, but there was a tank still filled with some oil there. The beys crashed, and the small explosion ignited Graham.

"AAAAAHHHHHH!!!!" Graham screamed in pain.

"OH MY GOD!!!" Bryan screamed. He broke down the debris with all of his strength. He pulled out his phone.

"911!" he said. "I need firefighters and an ambulance! A kid got ignited!!!"

Within a few minutes, fire and ambulance were on the scene. They took the burnt Graham into the ambulance and drove off.

Miles, Dan, and Bryan stood panicked, watching the sight.

About an hour later, Miles receives a call.

"Hello? Oh...hi... So...he's... Ohhhh.... Hm...okay, I'll tell him. Thanks for calling. Mhm, bye..."

Miles went to Bryan, who was laying down by himself in Miles' bed. He rose up when Miles walked in.

"Bryan...." Miles started. "Graham... He...he didn't make it. His vitals plummeted as they treated him, and he slipped. I'm sorry..."

Bryan's eyes filled with tears as he covered his face in the pillow.

Miles laid down beside him, giving him a comforting hug. "It's not your fault, Bryan. I--"

"It IS my fault!" Bryan said, lifting his head from the pillow, "I just killed someone!! I went against what this team is for! I'm...a disgrace... I shouldn't even be on this team..." Bryan held onto Miles.

Miles held Bryan in another hug, comforting him. "Don't say that, Bryan, please... You are not a disgrace, and you should be on this team. Yes, you did go against what our team name represents, but it was an accident. You didn't know it was there... Please don't beat yourself up... Also, do me a favor..."

Bryan looked at Miles. "W-What?"

Miles wiped away Bryan's tears. "Don't cry. It makes me feel so horrible about how you feel..."

Bryan wiped away more of his tears. "Thanks Miles. You...really help out a lot..."

Bryan hugged Miles, and the two laid there, hugging...

While he was attending to the emotional Bryan, Miles called R-Dev to go out next, and was told to be careful. R-Dev agreed and went out.

However, he didn't need to be careful, because he had a plan...

He wasn't going to target a young rookie, a veteran or even the major members. He was headed straight for the A.E.M. Leader...

After surveying the city for about an hour, Miles found that all of the members except the captain were accounted for, battling outside. R-Dev then proceeded to make his way to the A.E.M. base.

His signature knife in hand, just to be sure, R-Dev kicked the door of the base open in one shot. It was empty in front of him, but footsteps were running away. R-Dev cautiously entered, careful of any surprise attacks. He stopped when he heard the tightening of a bey to a launcher. He listened carefully in the pitch black room. He backed up to the door he opened, closed it back and locked it. Now it was even darker. Then, R-Dev ducked at the perfect time, when a bey zoomed by his head, barely clipping his ear.

"Where are you!?!" R-Dev screamed out. "Show yourself!!!"

Candle in hand, the captain entered. R-Dev froze in shock.

The captain...WAS R-Dev. Every single article and attribute was correct. R-Dev was seeing himself in front of him...

"WHAT??!!??!!" R-Dev let out. "THIS IS NOT POSSIBLE!!!!"

"You're right..." the clone said, in exact voice. "It isn't..." The clone turned into a cloud of purple, and now, Cloud Starcutter stood before him.

"You! You have the ability to shapeshift..." R-Dev said, in awe.

"Exactly..." Cloud's figure said, once again in perfect tone. "It's just so simple, and very helpful... You have no idea how much information I was able to receive about you guys..."

"You mean..." R-Dev said. "You were with us the whole time?!?!"

"Indeed..." the figure said, shifting again, this time into Daisuke Jauri. "This is who I was... I took all of your information, and knew every single word your captain was saying..."

"And nobody even knew..." R-Dev said.

The figure shifted into Miles. "Not even Miles." the clone said. "Nobody suspected a thing..."

"Why you... I'm tired of your disguises! Show your real face, NOW!!!" R-Dev yelled, charging at the clone of Miles.

With the same skills Miles had, the clone fought against R-Dev, knocking him back all the way to the wall and picked R-Dev up off his feet. Six-foot R-Dev was being held off the ground by his neck from whatever person this was...

"Fine then..." the Miles clone said. Here...is my real face..."

The figure shifted, and looked into R-Dev's eyes. R-Dev was silent, and his eyes grew the widest they ever had before. R-Dev was absolutely flabbergasted by the sight...

R-Dev woke up in a hospital bed. He jolted up, but his jolt was interrupted by a giant wave of pain that he never felt before. It was his back. R-Dev laid back down and tried not to squirm in pain.

Miles and Bryan walked in to find him awake. They sat in chairs beside him.

"Good thing you're up..." Bryan said. "What happened?"

R-Dev started. "I went to the A.E.M. base..."

"Not a shocker..." Bryan joked.

After giving him a glare, R-Dev continued. "I was trying to find out the identity of that captain. I shouted for him to come out. He fired his bey, which I forgot, but was apparently really heavy. He came out..."

"What did he look like?" Miles asked.

"My question to you, Miles; What DIDN'T he look like? I am not lying, he shapeshifted into my figure, Cloud's figure, Kiku's, and even yours!!!"

Miles gasped in surprise. "And they all looked...real?"

"They all looked just like everyone. He held me up by my throat, and when he finally showed me his face...Oh my god..."

"What? What was it?" Miles urged.

R-Dev pointed to Bryan. "You said you weren't sure, but you might have a brother?"

"Maybe, I dunno. Why?" Bryan asked.

"This guy was styled exactly like you!" R-Dev remarked

Bryan gasped. "What do you mean?"

"His hair was just like yours, only white, his eyes were shaped like yours, only purple, and everything else on his face resembled you. I couldn't see his body because he was wearing thick heavy clothing, but yeah... And even scarier..."

"How much scarier?" Miles said, worried.

"Very. His skin was black. Like, THIS kind of black!" R-Dev said, pointing to his coal-black shirt.

Miles and Bryan both froze in awe at that point. They had the perfect picture. Bryan flashed back, and saw everything...

"He is..." Bryan whispered. "Oh my god..."

"Who is?" Miles asked.

"HE is!!" Bryan screamed. "That guy...he really IS my brother!!!"

R-Dev jolted up and out of bed, not even worrying about the pain right now. He wanted to go find him.

R-Dev was stopped by Miles. "No..." Milessaid. "You rest. I'll go..."

"But...Miles..." Bryan said, scared. "What if...you don't come back?"

Miles thought of this, but swallowed and said. "I have to..."Miles then walked out the door going to find this person.

He went to the base which was filled with everyone.

The members charged with their beys.

Miles drew Pegasis and attached it to his launcher.

"Let's do this, Pegasis!!!" Miles shouted. "3! 2! 1! LET IT RIP!!!"

All of the A.E.M. members were slung all around the small room.

CD and Dark were crashed against the left wall.

G-A and Jakester were out cold on the right wall.

Shad, Lashie, and the rest laid against the back wall and on the floor.

In the middle of it all, Miles stood with his Pegasis spinning. "Alright, you evil captin!" Miles shouted. "Show yourself, In your real form!!!"

The captain emerged with a hood covering his head, slowly clapping. "Well done, Miles. You defested all of the A.E.M. members by yourself. You should be proud..."

Miles growled. "You... Show me who you are, NOW!!!"

"How about instead, I show you this?" Thecaptain said, and he launched his Large Beyblade in front of Pegasis.

"Woah!! That's thing's...huge!!" Miles said, shocked.

"Say hello to Metal Stone Face Dragoon Dragoon Switch Attack 165 EWD." the captian said. "Almost 70 grams of pure Defense, Stamina, and Spin-Stealing Capabilities. One of the Heaviest Beys possible to make!!"

Miles commanded Pegasis to charge it, but not even a wobble from Dragoon^2.

"What kind of sick bey is that?!?!" Miles said, stunned. He started backing away, but the captain got closer. The captain shapeshifted, and formed into Miles himself.

Miles gasped. "Why you insulting little..." he growled. "He was right! I can't believe you!! Pegasis, Special Move!! Unite The Nation!!!!"

Pegasis flew up, covered in the aura of colors. A direct hit to Dragoon. When the giant smoke cloud cleared, Pegasis was wobbling, but Dragoon^2 wasn't even phased.

"What!?!?!?!? That's impossible!!!!!"

"It is for Dragoon..." the Miles clone said. "Special Move, Effortless Destruction..." Dragoon smashed Pegasis, barely using any power, and slinging Pegasis several feet away.

"No, Pegasis!!!" Miles shouted. He was stopped when he was picked up by his throat by his new enemy. The captain turned back to his normal self.

"Give up, Miles." The captain said. "You will never defeat me..."

He threw Miles on the ground, and with one heavy boot, stomped Miles chest.

Miles couldn't catch his breath at all, not even a little bit. After kicking him afew times, the captain walked away, laughing manically.

Miles started spitting blood out. As he reached for Pegasis, Miles saw the rest of his life flashing before his eyes, and as he faded, he lost sight of his Pegasis, and slipped unconscious...

Miles slowly opened his eyes. He was at the hospital ER. His vision was blurry, but he looked around.

An IV was attached to his left arm, and on his right, there was a bucket, with only a little bit of his blood in it.

Miles couldn't even move. This was the worst amount of pain he had ever felt, even worse than R-Dev's and Ivan's pain combined.

Miles looked down at his clothes. It was dry, but blood stains ran all over the white shirt, and down to his pants.

The last thing Miles noticed was that none of his friends were here. Not a single one.

The doctor walked in to find Miles awake. "Good thing you woke up, Miles..." she said. "I was worried you wouldn't wake up..."

"W...Where....a-am I...?"

"At the hospital. You got in a beyblade battle and lost..."

Miles focused. "N...No. T-That's impossible..."

"You did lose Miles, and pretty badly too..."

"I...I-I forgot. W-What...happened?"

"Well we don't know for sure, but when the ambulance arrived at your destination, they were shocked. All of your friends said they were too stunned and disgusted by the sight. Only R-Dev had the stomach to carry you into the ambulance and into the hospital. You covered him in blood. After he set you down, he ran off, apparently sick, and almost crying..."


Miles' eyes widened a little. "Oh...my god..."

"You were in so much pain that we had to keep your shirt on. We couldn't remove it. Some of us called it the most horrific and emotional sight we had ever seen..."

Miles tried to get up, but he screamed out in pain trying. The doctor laid him down...

"It's best not to move, Miles..." the doctor said. "Even hours after you arrived, it hurts. Just stay still..."

Miles nodded slowly, and as the doctor left, he sat there, taking all of this in...

About 30 minutes later, Bryan came to visit Miles in his room. Bryan covered his mouth walking in.

"Bryan..." Miles said weakly.

"How does it feel, Miles...?" Bryan said.

"It...It hurts, Bryan. It hurts so much..." A tear came to Miles' eye...

"Oh, Miles..." Bryan covered his mouth again.

"I don't know why it always has to be me..." Miles said. "Every single time, I have to be the one to handle all of these problems. I only have my friends to help me. Sure, I've gotten it to work...but...." He paused.

"But what, Miles..." Bryan said, worried.

Miles turned to Bryan, and they looked each other in the eyes. "I don't know how much more I can take..."

Bryan stood up. He held onto Miles' hand with his, and he put his other hand on Miles' chest. They stared into each other's eyes...

"It'll be alright, Miles..." Bryan whispered. "You'll get through this, and we will help you stop suffering..."

Miles looked back up at him. "You promise?"

"I promise with every ounce of energy in my heart..."

Miles then pushed through all of the pain and gave Bryan a comforting hug.

"Thank you, Bryan..." Mile said, smiling. "You have no idea how much better I feel..."

The next morning, Bryan woke up to find Miles was painstakingly turning to sit on his bed. He was shocked.

"Miles!!!" Bryan said, "You shouldn't be hurting yourself!!!"

Miles pulled around and sat on the edge of his bed. "I can get out of here..." Miles said. "I know it..."

Bryan grabbed his hand. Miles grasped it. "Are you sure about this, Miles?" Bryan asked.

"Yes, but I can't do it alone. Please help me..."

Bryan nodded as Miles started getting up. Miles cringed with every little movement, but kept pushing through. Eventually, with Bryan's help, he stood up.

Miles was dizzy, but he regained himself and took a step, then another, and another. Bryan held onto his arm as Miles was able to walk again.

"Heh, I can stand and walk again!!!" Miles said, smiling.

"Yes!! That's a good thing!" Bryan said happily.

Miles hugged Bryan. "Thank you so much, Bryan..." Miles said. "I couldn't have done it without you..."

"No problem, Miles..." Bryan replied. "Glad to help..."

Miles returned home with Bryan to his friends, who all relished in his return.

That night, around 10pm, Bryan came to Miles, holding his hand on his head. "My bed broke..." Bryan said, grinning...

"Well, we surely can't put you on the couch..." Miles said. He looked at his own bed. "Mine's got room. You can take it..."

"No. I really shouldn't make you suffer, after all you've been through already..." Bryan replied. Bryan looked at the bed. "It's wide enough. We can share..."

"You sure? It seems...weird..." Miles said, unsure.

"Oh, don't worry. It's not that bad..." Bryan said, laying down on the bed. "Come on, you need to go to sleep..."

Miles laid down beside Bryan. "You're right, it isn't as bad as I thought... But before I go to bed, one thing, Bryan..."

"Yes?" Bryan asked.

"Thanks again for being there for me..." Miles said, hugging Bryan. "It really helped..."

"It's no problem, Miles..." Bryan said. "Anything to help you..."

The two hugged again, and then fell asleep, side by side...

Bryan woke up first on the October 31st morning. Knowing it was Halloween, he pulled out his stash of candy out from under the bed and poured it into a bowl, getting it ready for tonight.

Once everyone else got up, they were all trying to bombard Bryan's candy stash. Bryan stopped them easily.

"You guys are so selfish!" Bryan said, maturely. "Do you know what day it is?"

Once Bryan said that, they all remembered.

Once 7pm rolled around, Bryan and Miles started giving out the candy to the trick-or-treaters, while the rest of the group had a Halloween party inside, drinking soda and having pizza.

Miles felt as much joy giving out the candy a when he used to go trick-or-treating. Miles also, however, thought it was too quiet. Aside from the kids running around in their costumes, the A.E.M. hadn't done anything. He had a bad feeling, but he hid it.

Once the clock hit 10pm, everyone started heading home, the group inside was cleaning up, and Miles and Bryan were heading inside, but then, a scare...

A beyblade whizzed by Miles' ear, crashing through the window, landing. Miles looked at it. MF Beat Lynx GB145R2F. G-A's bey. It quickly retreated.

Miles turned as the A.E.M group charged, not with their beys, but with their fists.

G-A, leading the pack, nailed a fist in Miles chest, still hurting from the attack by the Captain. He screamed out, and Bryan retreated with him.

G-A tried for anther punch, but Daisuke took over on him. The two gangs were all over the front yard.

Dan landed one strong kick to Dark's head, knocking him out instantly, R-Dev was in a strong grapple with A.E.M.'s heavier member Star, and was able to throw him to the ground, and the six-foot-four CD threw five-nine Bri to the ground, but was tripped by his legs and fell.

Not all of Peacefully to Assemble was in luck. Kiku was being forced down and punched by G-A, Jakester had Cloud pinned down, with Cloud struggling against him, and Daisuke was on the ground, in a submission hold by the newest edition to A.E.M., Lashie.

Eventually, Dan and R-Dev took control of A.E.M. and started dominating. The A.E.M. then fleed from there, with one unconscious and three injured.

"Everyone okay?" R-Dev asked.

"Kiku's lip's bleeding" Daisuke said. "Me and Devin got that taken care of..."

"I got a sore jaw..." Cloud said, "but it's fine..."

"Nobody else?" Dan said. "Alright then. Bryan, is Miles okay?"

"Yeah!" Bryan shouted from upstairs. "Only hurt him a bit. I fixed it..."

The group went to bed and rested up.

As November 1st appeared on the calendar, Dan and the rest of the squad decided to take the day off. School was a workday, so it was time to relax. Miles, Bryan, and R-Dev refused the offer to go to the mall, saying they would hold down the fort. Dan nodded, and the rest of them left for the mall.

Bryan thought it would be a good time to ask Miles a question. He snuck by R-Dev, passed out on the couch, and headed upstairs.

Bryan approached Miles who was still laying down in his bed, thinking.

"Miles..." Bryan asked.

"Yes?" Miles replied.

"I...think it's time to tell you something, that I've really been wanting to say to you..."

"Okay then, Bryan. What is it?"

Bryan swallowed. "I...I think...I'm in love with you..."

Miles widened his eyes. "Really now...?"

"Yeah..." Bryan replied, blushing a little. "It just seems whenever I'm around you, I feel...comforted... W...What do you think?"

"Well..." Miles said. "Bri told me today that she just hasn't felt ready enough for a stronger relationship, so I guess I'm open..."

"Okay...?" Bryan said, unsure. "So, is it okay?"

Miles thought. "Lay down here, Bryan..."

Bryan laid down on the bed beside Miles.

"I think the guys will be a little uncomfortable with it at first, but I think we can make it work..."

"W...What about if others judge us?" Bryan said, worried.

"Then they can back off. It's what we think, and they have to choice in what we say... Bryan, I'm fine with it, and if you are as well, I see no problem..." Miles smiled.

Bryan looked into his eyes, and smiled. "Okay..." Bryan finally said. "This'll work. I think I'm gonna tell the guys..."

"Okay then, but wait. One thing..." Miles said.

"Yeah?" Bryan asked.

Miles then gave a small kiss on Bryan's cheek. "It's a good thing you asked me. I'm proud of how mature you were..."

Bryan nodded, smiling, and left...

When the rest of the team got back, Bryan and Miles told the other seven members what was going on. They were in various states of reaction.

Before Miles let them speak, he handed them all a piece of paper.

"I want to see a vote on this..." Miles said. "I want an honest answer from all of you about this..."

Not questioning this method, the seven others voted whether to keep it or not. By a vote of 6 to 1, most of the gang agreed; Miles and Bryan would be fine together.

"Thanks for liking this idea of us, guys..." Bryan said. "I'm glad. I was worried you would react the opposite way..."

After giving "Thank You's" and "You're Welcome's", Miles and Bryan went back upstairs.

"I can't believe it, Miles!" Bryan said. "They like the idea! All of them do!"

"All except one..." Miles then said.

"Oh yeah. Who could that've been?" Bryan asked.

"Let's find out..." Miles said, pulling out the votes. They looked at their handwriting.

R-Dev's scribbled handwriting was an easy "yes" vote. As was Devin's sloppy-written "yes".

Dan's and Bri's were easy to see in cursive. "Yes" From both of them. Even Cloud, who hadn't seen many relationships, said "yes".

"It was either Daisuke or Kiku..." Bryan said. They pulled the last two votes. Kiku said "yes", Daisuke said "no".

Bryan gasped, and started tearing up. "Daisuke... The one I had been friends with for almost forever...." Bryan couldn't believe it. he covered his head in the pillow.

Miles got up and went looking.

In the downstairs guest room, he found him. He closed the door. "Alright, Daisuke..." Miles said. "You voted "No". Gimme a reason why..."

Daisuke stammered a bit, but finally took a breath. "I don't know, Miles... I guess I'm just not used to something...different... I'm happy for you and Bryan, don't get me wrong, but...I'm just too uncomfortable to, I guess...accept it...."

"So, just because you were uncomfortable with it, you'd make Bryan cry his eyes out knowing his best friend didn't like it..."

Daisuke gasped and realized what he did. "Oh my god. You just made me realize. I'm such an idiot!!!!" Daisuke opened the door and made a dash upstairs. He spotted Bryan, laying face-down in the pillow, crying...

"Bryan..." Daisuke said. "I just realized what wrong I have just done..."

Bryan wiped away his tears and listened to Daisuke. Miles stood by the door.

"Bryan, I let my feelings get to me. I let what I wanted control my decision for you and Miles to be together. I'm sorry..."

Bryan looked up at him, and nodded. "I forgive you..." Bryan said, and he got up and hugged Daisuke.

The hug was interrupted when Miles got a message over his transceiver.

"Miles, it's Dan. They're back, and the captain's here!!"

Miles dropped the transceiver, grabbed Pegasis and rushed off. Daisuke and Bryan followed quickly. They arrived outside, and the nine members of P.T.A. were staring down the nine members of A.E.M.

"Why are you here?!" Miles demanded.

"I have a proposal for you..." the captain said. "How about a big face-off, best five-of-nine? We each match up, and the team with five wins first wins the face-off..."

"What's in it for us...?" Bryan asked.

"If you win, our gang dispurses, never to form up again. Along with that, if we make it to round nine, I let you see my face, and I will leave this country for your victory..."

"And what if you win...?" Dan said.

"That captain of yours comes with us..." the captain said, grinning.

Miles knew what was going to happen if his gang lost. He would either become a slave to A.E.M., or he would be executed.

Miles looked at the risks and chances. He took a glare at Bryan, who looked back, concerned and scared, but nodding...

Miles turned back, and replied. "Bring. It. On..." he said.

"Excellent..." the captain said, grinning. "Let's start. Round one! I choose Dark..." Dark stepped forward.

"I choose Cloud..." Miles replied, and Cloud stepped forward. Round one was about to take place, right in the road in front of them...

3! 2! 1! LET IT RIP!!!

Gargoyle Orojya AD145WD and Spiral Sextans CH120RF landed in the stadium. and then started circling. This battle could go either way. Aside from the Captain's Dragoon^2, Cloud's bey was the heaviest at 62 grams. However, Dark has a history of KO-ing heavy beys, which he did once for Germany...

"Come on, Orojya! Hold up!" Cloud commanded.

"Keep attacking, Sextans. Don't let him sit still!" Dark commanded as well.

Orojya took every single hit that Sextans gave out.

By this time, storm clouds started coming over. All of the bladers started getting worried. Even the captain was getting concerned. He did not want to be electrocuted. Considering how many have already been struck in Princeton, the captain and Miles agreed that after this match, it would be done for the day.

"Go Sextans, Special Move!! Sprial Meltdown!!!" Dark shouted.

One hit of that Special Move would melt everything on a beyblade, even the metal. Cloud waited, and dodged at the right time. Orojya as close to touching Sextans than you could imagine.

"Quick, Orojya, Special Move!! Unforgiving Bind!!!" Cloud commanded.

At first, Miles had no idea what Cloud was thinking. That move involved self-KO-ing. Then, he saw the magic happen.

Orojya entangled Sextans, then flipped to toss Sextans out of the stadium. Orojya, now airborne, landed by catching the edge of the stadium, and sliding down to the center.

The P.T.A. cheered. Then, the groups dispersed when rain fell and lighting struck.

That night, about 9:45pm, the storms hadn't let up. Leading 1-0, everyone on P.T.A was in bed, and Bryan was on his way.

Once he got to the bedroom. he noticed something shivering under the blanket.

"Miles?" Bryan asked. "Is that you?"

Miles slowly peeked his head out, looking scared out of his mind.

"Are you scared?" Bryan asked.

Miles nodded.

"What are you afraid of?"

Miles pointed out the window to the storms.

Bryan remembered the finals matched for USA VS Russia. Miles was traumatized by how many lightning strikes he risked during that match.

"Don't like storms anymore, huh, Miles?" Bryan said.

Miles shook his head. "They scare me now..." Miles said, still covered up.

"Awwww...." Bryan said, laying beside Miles. "It'll be okay. Come here..."

Miles grabbed onto Bryan in a hug. As another strike landed, Miles clenched onto Bryan.

"It's okay, Miles..." Bryan said, comfortingly. "I'm here for you..."

Miles calmed down, and eventually fell to sleep. Bryan covered him up.

"Goodnight, Miles..." Bryan whispered, and then he fell to sleep on his own...

Since the groups didn't all want to be caught in one spot, the next day, the two gangs decided to let one go at a time to a stadium in town.

With the score P.T.A. 1, A.E.M. 0, Miles sent Devin with his Scythe Corona 230D to fight.

Devin arrived to find his opponent waiting, CD Collins, fitting his Flash Draco S130MF with a new MF and MF-H. The Yellow Pyxis wheel was now a bright red with the black decals. CD attached and was ready to launch. Devin attached Corona.

3! 2! 1! LET IT RIP!!!

Corona and Draco landed, immediately with Draco attacking and Corona dodging every attack, just like the first tournament.

"Seems that you haven't learned your lesson..." Devin jokingly said.

"I wouldn't joke around too much..." CD replied. "Draco isn't done yet..."

Corona was hit once, and started fleeing. Coronaand Draco were going the same speed. Draco couldn't gain ground. Then ,Draco went into a flower shape, cutting the circle. That made Draco gain ground.

One tap almost KO'd Corona. Corona hit the wall and struck back into Draco, destabilizing it quickly.

"GO Draco, Special Move!!!" CD yelled. "Dragon Soaring Bitestrike!!!"

Panicked, Devin was going to let this hit determine the victor. "Special Move!!!" he said. "Rainbow Gemstone!!!!"

The two hits landed, causing a white light to engulf both bladers and their beys, then an explosion.

At A.E.M.'s base, they were all quiet, waiting.

CD busted through, stumbling a bit. He grinned towards the captain, raising his Draco in victory.

The Captain grinned, but the grin turned serious when CD then stumbled and fell face down, not unconscious, but unresponsive...

Meanwhile, back at the base, Devin fell through the door, unconscious and unresponsive.

Miles already knew the result, but he didn't care right now. He ran to Devin and checked his pulse.

Nothing.

He started doing CPR and pushing Devin's chest, trying to jump start his heart again.

He started crying. "Please Devin!" Miles said. "Please don't give up on me! Don't leave!!!"

With one more hard push on his chest, Devin jolted up, gasping for air.

"Devin! Are you okay?" Miles asked.

"I...I lost..." Devin said, gasping for breath, hanging his head.

"That doesn't matter right now!" Miles said sternly. "Are you okay??"

Devin shook out of it. "Uh, oh, y-yeah... Yeah, I'm okay. Thank you..."

Miles felt relieved and concerned at the same time.

On one hand, he had just saved his childhood friend from dying...

On the other hand, it was 1-1...

Round three was up. R-Dev was waiting at the stadium for his opponent. Who did he get? The guy he fought in the gang tussle...

Star approached the stadium, His Lupus in hand. Star smirked at R-Dev as he walked up.

Unamused, R-Dev attached Impaler, while Star attached Lupus.

3! 2! 1! LET IT RIP!!!

Impaler went to the center, as usual, and started with many small taps with Lupus, who had the same idea.

Neither blader made a command to go stronger. They wanted this to be up close and personal, not letting up a bit...

R-Dev focused his stare on Lupus' mesmerizing spin, which was dizzy and looked as if a zombie took over.

He analyzed the bey he was facing. Fang Lupus... He crouched down to see the bottom. S130 Track..

Then, the tip was too hard to tell. It was either WD, EWD, W2D, or SWD.

Then, as Lupus started weakening, the answer was obvious, W2D. But for some reason, despite being drastically slowed, Lupus just wouldn't die.

"How in the hell are you still spinning?" R-Dev said.

"I'm technically not..." Star said grinning. "Look closely..."

R-Dev looked. Lupus wasn't spinning, but was moving as if it was. Impaler crashed into it several times, but no luck. Even Apocalyptic Nightmare was a failure. His dark moves were of no use...

R-Dev then psycho-analyzed Lupus as if he was a machine. He knew the special moves, wins, losses, every statistic you could think of. He then knew what to do...

Catching Star's overconfidence, he made his move.

"Special Move!! Crossover to the Light!!!" R-Dev commanded.

It was enough. A perfect smash on the recoily Fang wheel tossed it out of the stadium...

Panicked, Star broke for it. R-Dev picked up Impaler, which was glowing white.

As P.T.A. sat in their building, a white glare caught Miles' eye. He looked out the window. He got excited, running out the door. His friends followed.

There he was. R-Dev, holding his glowing Impaler in the air. Miles and his friends swarmed R-Dev and they cheered.

Miles knew it wasn't over, but he was confident. P.T.A. 2, A.E.M. 1...

Round Four started late that night.

Bri couldn't see who was up there ahead at the stadium. She had to walk all the way in to spot who it was. It was Jakester, with his LLD ED145FB.

Jakester didn't say a word. He just attached his bey. Bri attached her L-Drago too...

3! 2! 1! LET IT RIP!!!

Both LLD and MLD hit the stadium. Both had a vital disadvantage; they were facing a left-spin opponent. It would all come down to clashing.

"Come on, L-Drago!! Show em what you got!!!" Bri yelled out.

Jakester stayed quiet, but fully concentrated as his bey clashed with Bri's.

After Much clashing, Bri let out her Special Move. "Dragon Fire Rampage!!!" She yelled out.

MLD flew up and charged right at LLD. It looked as if she had it.

Then, right when it seemed MLD would hit, LLD moved on its aggressive FB tip. MLD crashed into the ground.

Jakester rose his hand as LLD rose into the air, covered in purple. He threw his hand down as the strike landed perfectly, KO'ing MLD.

Bri picked up MLD calmly and began to walk away. She hesitated and turned when she heard a winding sound.

-CLICK-

Then, the sound of bullets entering a weapon. Bri then broke away in a run.

She looked back. Jakester was chasing her, carrying a .357 magnum, a revolver basically. He was firing shots at her, reloading and firing more every time. Bri's sudden evasive movements made it difficult for Jakester to land a hit.

Bri saw the house. She screamed out. Miles and Daisuke were at the door. Miles again knew the result, but once again, it didn't matter right now. They hurried her inside. Jakester was still shooting, breaking windows.

Dan and R-Dev looked at each other and nodded. They went to a secret weapon case they had hidden in case of emergencies. They ran to the window, Dan carrying a Barrett M90 sniper rifle, R-Dev with his standard 12-round Pistol he called 'Pic-12".

As Jakester took cover, Dan and R-Dev fired, while Jakester continued firing back. Everyone else crouched or took cover, scared.

Dan and R-Dev each whizzed a bullet by Jakester's head. After that, he retreated...

Dan and R-Dev waited until he disappeared from view before putting the guns away.

The score was 2 for P.T.A, 2 for A.E.M.

It was 10:30, and the team started going to bed. Bryan and Miles laid in the bed, thinking.

"Oh my gd, Bryan..." Miles said. "I am to tired to go to sleep. I dunno whether I stay here or get taken away... It's too stressing..." Miles sighed, holding his tears back.

I know, Miles..." Bryan replied. He turned to him. "Come on, Miles. Let them out..."

Miles shook his head, still straining.

"Miles... Please, it will help both of us. You can be silent if you want, but please, just let it out.

Miles finally let out his tears, hugging Bryan.

"There we go..." Bryan said. "That's it..."

Miles stayed latched onto Bryan until he fell asleep. Bryan covered him up, and then Bryan went to sleep...

Bryan waited until Miles was completely passed out. He slowly snuck out of bed, and went downstairs. Hetook his newly improved bey, Death Ara BD145DS, out of the cupboard and slowly left out the back door.

Miles would come downstairs just a few moments later, wondering where Bryan went. He assumed he had went to the bathroom, and went back to bed.

Meanwhile, Bryan walked down Quarterhorse Road, took a right at the end, and took a left onto Old Smithfield Road. He walked for about an hour, eventually getting onto Ash Street.

Bryan turned left at the construction on Center Street and walked down. He finally arrived on Bain St. He looked for 709, the house he wanted to target. He found the house, aimed his bey at one of the windows, and fired.

Ara crashed through the window, landing on the floor in the room.

"Come on out, ya wimp!!" Bryan remarked. "Round five's starting now, and I said so!!!"

The door opened, and Alashion V. Kixon, otherwise known as Lashie, exited the door. His golden-colored eyes grew bright in anger. Without a word, He readied his bey, Saramanda Saramanda B : D.

3! 2! 1! LET IT RIP!!!

Nobody woke up at those clashes at 11:45pm. Lashie and Bryan battled with might against each other. Saramanda delivered a few hits, but the aggressive B : D made it too easy to be smashed out. Bryan's Ara clashed against it, coming close to flipping it every time. Lashie took better offensives, making Saramanda^2 clashing harder and knocking back Ara.

Then, as it seemed that Lashie was going to win.

-WEE WOO WEE WOO WEE WOO-

Police Sirens. The Red and blue lights turned the corner. Lashie freaked, losing concentration.

Bryan took over and finished it. "Special Move, Rising to the Peak!!!" he yelled out.

Ara smashed into Saramanda^2 flipped out, getting KO'd. Lashie picked it up quickly and ran.

"You, hands up, NOW!!!" the officer yelled to Bryan. Bryan calmly put his hands behind his head and stayed calm.

The police officers came to him and recognized him.

"Oh, sorry about the inconvenience..." The officer said. "Thank you for distracting him..."

"No problem...' Bryan kindly said. "I try..."

"You need a ride home?" the officer asked.

Bryan nodded, and the officer drove him home.

That morning about 8am, Saturday, Miles woke up, and Bryan was still not beside him. He was worried.

Being the first one awake, with everyone upstairs, Miles went downstairs, and was shocked at what he saw....

It was Bryan, sitting at the couch, watching TV, and writing on a notebook.

"Bryan?? Where have you been??" Miles said confused.

Bryan looked at Miles, and grinned, he turned his notebook around. It had writing.

"I went out tonight...", is what the notebook said.

"H-Huh???" Miles said, more confused.

Still grinning, Bryan turned the page again. "Lashie's done..."

That was all that was needed. Miles then covered his mouth in awe. He hugged Bryan.

"Thank you so much, Bryan..." Miles said. "I'm glad you did that. But one thing..."

"Yeah?" Bryan asked.

"Don't sneak out on me like that!!! I was so worried, I mean, you have no idea what it's like to not have someone there, my god man!!! Seriously, you had me freaking out all night!!!"

Dan and R-Dev looked from upstairs, grinning and trying to hold in laughter.

"Uh..." Bryan hesitated. "Well, uh, ya see, um..."

Miles rambled on again. Dan and R-Dev couldn't help but laugh. Devin saw it and joined in, and eventually the rest of the gang was watching from upstairs.

"Miles, Miles, calm down!! My brain's hurting!!!" Bryan said jokingly. "I'm here now. That's all that matters..."

Bryan kissed Miles' cheek, and the two hugged.

They were interrupted by a group "Awwwww..." at the top of the stairs. Miles and Bryan looked up at them, smirks on their face. The group ran down the stairs, almost tripping over themselves, and gave Bryan and Miles hugs.

The score, P.T.A. 3, A.E.M. 2...

Dan headed out for Round Six of the face-off.

When he got to the stadium, He saw everybody's favorite nemesis, G-A Walton. He readied Lynx. Dan readied Shade.

3! 2! 1! LET IT RIP!!!

Shade and Lynx hit the stadium. Lynx moved in an almost perfect flower shape, while Shade's aggressive SB tip made it very evasive.

Despite that Shade was lighter than Lynx, it was somehow quicker. That didn't help with getting hit, though. Each hit flung Shade into a wall.

"Go, Shade! Arisen Dark Fog!!!" Dan commanded.

A dark blackish-purple fog covered the stadium. Shade was the only thing to be seen in the fog. Lynx was engulfed, and G-A had no idea where it was. Dan had this...

However, G-A spotted his bey, just barely, but spotted it, and went into attack mode.

"Special Move, Lynx! Lynx Fang Tornado!!!" G-A yelled.

A tornado formed from Lynx and sucked Shade in, along with all of the fog. It was over. Dan was just waiting for when it would let go of Shade.

It would let go earlier than expected, hitting Dan right in the forehead with about as much pressure as a rock. Rattled, Dan fell to the ground. G-A laughed at him, called him some words not worth mentioning, picked up Lynx and left.

Dan painstakingly got up, grabbed Shade, and trudged back home, in a lot of pain. Getting home, Daisuke, Kiku, and Devin took him to his room to help him heal.

About one hour later, Bryan couldn't find Miles. He went to Miles' room and spotted him, silent.

"Miles..." Bryan said.

No response.

Bryan laid down beside Miles, shook him once. "Miles?" he asked again.

No response. He then felt a tear on the pillow.

"Miles... Are you...crying?" Bryan asked.

Once again, no response.

Bryan grew worried. "Miles, please, answer me..." he asked one more time.

Miles finally answered with a nod.

"But, why??"

Miles quietly answered the question. "I still have confidence..." he started. "But the suspense...wondering when is it going to end. It's...hurting me... I...can't take it anymore..."

"Oh, Miles..." Bryan said, and he wrapped his arms around Miles. It was at that point Miles cried more tears.

Bryan kissed Miles on the cheek, holding him. "It'll be okay, Miles..." Bryan said softly. "I swear, we'll get through this. We will be victorious, and you will stop hurting..."

Miles held onto Bryan and let out his emotions. Bryan stayed by his side, not leaving him until he felt better, just like two lovers should...

During the day, Miles trained with Pegasis as much as he could. He needed to make Pegasis able to stand up to that heavy Dragoon^2 combination.

While he did, the two teams decided to send out their last two players out.

P.T.A. sent out Daisuke and Kiku out, while remaining on A.E.M. was Jackie Eskuwe, using Spiral Compass AD145WD, and A guy referred to as "Sour", using Kreis Disaster SW145D.

Daisuke and Kiku went out for their battles.

Throughout the course of about 45 minutes, large clashing and explosions echoed through Princeton.

Miles just laid in the bed, listening to those sounds, making his guess, and fearing for it.

"I am so scared. I don't wanna have to go to a Final Round..." Miles thought. "But...I want to have a fighting chance to defend myself, to show that I'm not hiding behind my teammates.

About an hour later, the clashing stopped, and both Daisuke and Kiku arrived back home. Miles and the group looked at them, waiting for the result.

It was what Miles DID and did NOT want; Daisuke won, Kiku lost.

It was 4-4, and the last match for Miles' life would be Miles VS that captain.

"So, when do we meet up?" Miles calmly asked.

"Midnight..." Daisuke said. "It's going to be a late night battle..."

So it would be Midnight, the day turning into November 18th, would be the final match.

Miles checked the clock. Three o'clock. His destiny would be in nine hours.

Miles went upstairs to his room, shutting the door.

After several hours, the gang started getting worried about Miles. R-Dev went up to his room, and came back five minutes later.

"Bryan?" R-Dev said. "I think somebody needs you...

Bryan quickly got up and went to Miles' room. Bryan knocked on the door. "Can I come in?" he asked.

Miles hit the wall inside twice, which Bryan took as a yes, so he entered. He saw Miles sitting on the edge of his bed, looking at him. Bryan instantly saw what Miles felt like when he looked into Miles' eyes.

Fear, anxiety, sadness, determination, hesitation, fury, aggravation, every emotion inside Miles' body. Bryan saw it. Miles was too hurt by his emotions.

Bryan laid Miles down on the bed, laid down beside him, and held him.

That was it. Miles calmly broke into tears. Bryan tried what he could to keep him calm, but Miles couldn't stop crying.

Bryan had to try something else, so he tried what he never thought he would.

He turned Miles towards him, and gave Miles one long, soft kiss...on Miles' lips.

Miles' eyes widened, but he instantly started calming down. He took in every moment. Bryan finally pulled away, and looked at Miles.

"Do you feel better now?" Bryan asked.

Miles' tears stopped, and he wiped off the ones on his face. Miles then smiled and replied. "Yes, Bryan..." he said. "Much better..."

The two hugged, and then they both fell asleep. It was 8pm, and Miles was going to need some rest for his match...

Luckily, he feels better, with Bryan next to him...

Miles was woken up by a small shove on his shoulder. He woke up and turned over. It was Bryan.

"It's time..." he said seriously. Miles got up, grabbed Pegasis, and started down the stairs. All of the gang was waiting.

They gave Miles their hugs and goodbye's. Miles was ready to head out the door.

"Wait!!!" Bryan said.

Miles turned. "Yes?" Miles asked.

"I'm coming with you..." Bryan said. "It's too hard for me to stand back and have you go all alone. I want to be there..."

Miles looked into Bryan's eyes. He was desperate to go.

"Sure..." Miles said, smiling. "I need you there..."

So as Miles and Bryan left, the rest of the gang waved goodbye and good luck to them.

Minutes later, they arrived at the stadium. The Captain was waiting.

"I'm here, Captain..." Miles said. "To fight for my destiny..."

"You're a determined blader..." the captain said. "Just like every weak blader i demolished in battle, stomping into the ground..."

Miles growled. "How about you use your words a little less on remarks, and a little more on the battle!!" Miles readied Pegasis and attached it to his launcher.

The captin silently put his Dragoon^2 on his launcher.

3! 2! 1! LET IT RIP!!!

The two beys clashed in the center of the stadium, neither giving an inch.

"Go Pegasis!!" Miles commanded. "Show him what we can do!!!"

Pegasis actually started forcing Dragoon^2 back a little.

"It's too bad that's only a little bit of force I'm putting against you..." the captain said. "Here's a little more..."

Still only exerting a little bit of energy, Dragoon^2 slammed Pegasis deep into the Wall. Pegasis was still spinning, barely damaged. The stadium was a different story.

Unphased, Miles stayed focused. "Attack again, Pegasis!!" he said.

Pegasis then delivered many back and forth hits to Dragoon, pushing it to the edge. However, Miles aborted that when Dragoon^2 rolled around and almost pushed Pegasis clean out of the stadium.

Pegasis and Dragoon^2 collided many times, with each attempt to KO each other failing.

Both beys were slowly being tuckered out, but they could not stop. A winner had to be decided here.

To throw off the focus of Miles, the captain shapeshifted, turning into Bryan.

"What the?!" Miles said, shocked. "He was right! You are a shapeshifter!!"

"Exactly..." the Bryan clone said, in perfect voice. "I have the ability to copy anyone, and anything..." He shapeshifted again, this time into Miles. "Even you.." the clone said, once again in perfect voice..."

Miles growled at this taunting the captain was doing.

Then, Bryan remembered the deal the captain made.

"Wait a minute..." Bryan said. "You said if we mae it to the final round, you'd show us your face. Show us...NOW!!!"

"Oh yes, I did..." the captain said, shifting back. "Well, here's your opportunity..."

The captain got ready to remove his hood. "Also, for my name..." he said, pulling the hood off. "It is Dylan Wolfeh..."

Miles and Bryan looked astonished and completely in awe. They couldn't believe it. What R-Dev said was true.

Bryan was in more shock. He was broken. He couldn't believe that the person causing the torture to the best friend he ever had...was his brother...

Dragoon^2 was destroying Pegasis to a pulp. It was a shocker to see Pegasis still spinning.

Dylan stared right at his brother Bryan, a huge grin on his face.

"Why, Dylan?" Bryan asked. "Why would you go evil like this?"

"I was a normal blader, just like you, Bryan..." Dylan said. "I found joy in blading, had a passion for it... Then, there was that one day. A gang attacked me with their beys, defeating me horribly. I couldn't believe they would do such a thing. So, I would show them, and everyone else, that me and my gang were the best. i created A.E.M., and within an instant we attacked that gang, and anyone else who tried to stop us..."

"I can't believe it!" Bryan said. "Yes, they shouldn't have attacked you like that, but there's no reason to go out of your way to destroy them--"

SILENCE!!!" Dylan screamed, and Dragoon^2 fired a purple laser that struck right into Bryan's body. He was thrown back maybe thirty feet.

"Bryan!!" Miles shouted, worried. "Are you ok?"

Bryan got up. He stared at his brother, growling.

"Miles..." Bryan said. "I'm fighting with you. Now...this is personal..."

"I see no issue." Dylan said. "It's not going to make a difference anyway!"

Bryan stood up and stayed by Miles. "Go, Pegasis!!!" the two said in unison.

They looked at each other, impressed that they had the same idea. Pegasis struck Dragoon^2 with what felt like double the force.

"Strike again!!!" the two said again. Once again, Pegasis struck into Dragoon^2 with double force.

Dylan was getting worried. "Now you've asked for it!" he said. "Special Move Dragoon!! Power of Infinite Demolition!!!"

Dragoon^2 flew up, charging it's energy.

"Oh no!!!" Miles said. "We don't have much time! What do we do?!?!"

"i don't know!!!' Bryan said, scared.

The two were thinking quickly and hastily. Then, they got it. "New Special Move!!!" the two said in unison.

They were more surprised. It was as if they were telekinetic.

"Go, Pegasis!!! Pierce of Union Power!!!"

Pegasis turned blue and struck with unbelievable force, breaking through the almost completed charge of Dragoon^2.

"NOOOOOOO!!!!" Dylan said, in shock.

"Finish this!!! Pegasis, Special Move!! Peacefully to Assemble!!!!" Bryan and Miles said, uniting hands. They rose them into the air as Pegasis flew higher than it ever had. Pegasis then came down fast and struck Dragoon dead on.

The hit was enough to cause crash-out. MSF, Dragoon, Dragoon, SA165, and EWD flew into it's parts. Dylan fell to his knees. Bryan and Miles ran over to Dylan.

Bryan knelt down to his brother.

"I see why you went this path, but you don't need to be this way to teach somebody a lesson, Dylan..." he said.

Dylan rose his head, listening to Bryan's words.

"There's no need to become a monster and demolish someone just because they beat you... Dylan...If you learned your lesson..." Bryan held out his hand. "You would take my hand, come with me, and forget all you have done..."

Dyan was touched by Bryan's words. He took Bryan's hand, and rose to his feet.

"I see what you are saying, bro. I'm so sorry I caused you all of this trouble...." Dylan said. He then walked up to Miles.

"also, to you, Miles... I'm...sorry for what I said to you. was too busy with my own thoughts. You are a true blader, and I would never do anything to harm you... I'm *sniffle* so sorry..."

As Dylan got emotional, Miles hugged him. "It's ok, man... I forgive you... Come on, let's take you home..."

The three walked home, together...

November 20th 2012. Miles was sitting in his room, quietly. He was just rummaging through the things in his room, when he spotted a journal in his dresser. Nothing was in it. He got the thought in his mind...

Only days after getting the news out about the group, they already had some bites.

Dan was the first to catch the advertising. He called in and joined the group instantly.

R-Dev saw it, too. "You need all the help you can get..." he told Miles, and he joined. Now the new four-person group was up to six. This was a start, but definitely not enough to take down the Apocalyptic Explosion. They needed more people, and new improvements.

At a meeting at Miles house, they showed what Improvements they had.

Devin placed his bey on the table first. He upgraded from Burn to Scythe, now becoming Scythe Corona 230D.

Cloud bought another Chrome wheel and changed up his entire setup. The Gargoyle wheel he purchased helped make Gargoyle Orojya AD145WD.

Dan laid his bey, now tricked out with more yellow, but still his favorite purple Shade clear wheel. He now had Ray Shade CH120SB, set to 145 height.

Bri pulled out her L-Drago, no longer contained a CH120, but a TR145. Now it was Meteo L-Drago TR145EWD.

"So, what changes did you guys make?" Devin asked Miles and R-Dev.

The two looked at each other, and then replied. "None..." they said in unison. They placed their unchanged beys on the table.

"Wow!" Cloud said, intrigued.

"Guys, the game is really evolving..." Bri said. "I'm not sure how much longer those beys will be able to stand up to the competition."

"It doesn't matter about competition..." Miles said. "It's about having a bey spirit..."

"It doesn't matter that you rely on "keeping up with the competition" with crazy parts changes and new strategies." R-Dev added. "If you don't have a bey spirit, You'll never win..."

The four listened to their words, and agreed with everything they said.

They were interrupted by a ring of the doorbell. "Who could that be?" Bri asked.

"I dunno..." Miles said. "I'm gonna find out. R-Dev, cover me.."

R-Dev nodded and followed him to the door. At the door stood three kids, two about R-Dev's height of six feet.

One was a sixteen-year old and had black jeans and a black sweater, along with black basketball shoes and a crooked Australian hat.

The other, which was eighteen, and apparently the leader of the group, had blonde hair, blue eyes, just like Miles, and wore an orange shirt, blue jeans, and black and white shoes.

The shorter boy, who was 11, had blonde hair, brown eyes, wore an orange long-sleeve shirt, longer orange shorts, and brown shoes.

"Uh, hi..." Miles said. "May I help you?"

"Yeah..." the blonde one replied. "I'm Bryan Wolfeh." He pointed to the shorter boy. "That's Kiku Hasate, and this is Daisuke Jauri. We saw your poster about the new team, and...we wanna join!!"

"Really now...?" R-Dev said. "Hang on a sec. Miles, come with me..."

R-Dev and Miles went away from the boys and discussed. They then returned to the boys.

"How about you three show us what you have in a three-on-three battle? I got more friends that could play..."

"Sounds like a great Idea!" Daisuke said. "Let's do it!"

They allowed them inside, to their biggest stadium. All of the gang was there...

"So guys..." Miles said. "Pick any three of us you like, and we'll battle..."

They thought for a moment. Kiku and Bryan picked their pick easily.

"You..." Kiku said, pointing to R-Dev.

"Definitely you!" Bryan replied, pointing to Miles. "Who do you want, Daisuke?"

Daisuke looked at the other options. "Him...' Daisuke said, and he pointed to Cloud. Cloud nodded and came forward. The six then approached the stadium, attaching their beys and preparing for launch. Everyone counted down together.

"3! 2! 1! LET IT RIP!!!"

The six beys launched into the stadium. Impaler, Orojya, and Pegasis all went to the center, while the other three circled super fast around them.

Normal eyes wouldn't be able to tell what the beys were, but nobody had the speed to trick Miles' eyes.

"Ah, so a Burn Lyre DF145EDS, a A Grand Canis DF145W2D, and an Earth Ara GB145DS..." he said to the boys...

All three were shocked by his call. "How did you know that?!" Daisuke said...

"I've been through a lot, and know what to expect, so I have to focus and be alert..." Miles replied...

"Hmmm..." Kiku said, pondering. "Go Canis!"

Canis struck right into Orojya. Not a budge. The added weight kept Orojya held still...

"Now you try, Ara!!" Bryan said.

Ara's attack hit Impaler. Yet again, not a budge...

"Come on, Lyre!" Daisuke shouted, and Lyre hit Pegasis. It was the strongest hit, but still, no budge...

How come you won't move?!" Bry an said, frustrated.

"We know better than to let a single hit push us back..." Cloud replied.

Then the boys came up with a strategy. Then, they did so...

"Ara, Rising to the Peak!!"

"Canis, Growling Wild!!!"

"Lyre, Powers in Harmony!!"

Two blue streaks emerged from Canis and Lyre, and a yellow from Ara. The attacks mixed, and landed on the three. As the smoke cleared, Orojya was KO'd, and Impaler stopped spinning right there...

"Ha! It's three on one! Now what are you gonna do??" Daisuke tauntingly said as their beys circled Pegasis.

Cloud and R-Dev, neither of which seemed to be impressed by the attack, looked at Miles. Miles looked back at them, and nodded to each...

With perfect timing, Miles waited until they attacked before replying. Pegasis jumped into the air, making the three clash into each other.

"I'll show you the true power of a bey spirit that made me the blader I am today..." Miles replied. "Pegasis, Special Move, Unite the Nation!!!"

The colors from his last tournament emerged, and joined his blue aura.

Scared, the three boys turned and dove for cover. The attack landed, and the area filled with smoke. As it cleared, Pegasis stood still, while Ara, Canis, and Lyre were all KO'd.

Pegasis returned to Miles. Miles caught it, and then picked up the three beys, all immensely stressed. Miles walked up to the boys, staring down at them. The boys looked down in shame and defeat.

Miles smiled. "Come with me..." he said, and he walked towards the counter. Wondering, the boys followed, while Miles' friends stood back.

"Wait here..." Miles said, stopping them at the counter. The boys stopped, and Miles headed to his work station behind the counter. He placed the beys down so the boys couldn't see them. He pulled out his tools and went to work.

The boys didn't know whether to be intrigued or horrified, because they knew Miles was a good person, but the tools he used sounded like he was destroying their beys.

Less than ten minutes later, Miles picked up the beys, still concealing them, turned and approached the boys. He then revealed a shined up Ara, Canis, and Lyre. The boys took them and looked in awe.

"I'm not done yet..." Miles said. "I have one more thing to say to you..."

The boys focused to what he was going to say. He held out his hand. "Welcome to the team..." Miles said, smiling.

The boys dropped jaws in shock. They couldn't believe it.

"Is this...really true??" Kiku said.

"Couldn't be any more real than you think it could..." R-Dev said. "Ya made it!"

"But...but...you defeated us. How could we be on this team if we lost?" Daisuke said, confused...

"Guys, you need to learn a valuable lesson..." Miles said.

"It doesn't matter what the result is..." Bri said.

"Win or lose, you play the game to have fun..." Dan added on.

"Those who can't play just for the fun of it are the ones who can't find joy in the game itself..." Cloud went on...

"That's because they don't have one vital thing . That thing is a bey spirit..." Devin added...

"A bey spirit is what separates the people who play with pride, and those who abuse the power of the beys for evil..." R-Dev included. "Unless you have a bey spirit, you shouldn't care whether you win or lose. You played the game to feel happiness..."

"And you showed your happiness in our battle today..." Miles finished, "So, welcome to the team guys!!!"

Daisuke got teary-eyed from all of the encouraging statements. He gave Miles a hug. "Thanks so much, Miles. You have no idea how much it means to us..."

Miles held him. "It's no problem... You deserve it..."

Daisuke, Bryan, and Kiku celebrated. In his mind, Miles was celebrating too. Their group has now expanded to nine. They could use more, but at least they now looked like a threat.

"We're on our way, Apocalyptic Explosion..." Miles thought. "I'd watch out if I was you..."

The next morning, Miles had sent Dan, the sneakiest of the group, to go spy on the Apocalyptic Explosion. The other eight were waiting for him. Dan didn't have to be gone thirty minutes to know what was going on.

"Well, Dan..." Miles said. "What did you find?"

"The team is made up of some of the captains that fought us in the first tournament..." Dan replied. "CD's There, G-A's there, Dark and Graham, too... They also acquired new players with good beys, one named Jakester, and another named Star..."

"Wow, those traitors!!!" Devin said, standing up. "Know the name of the captain?"

"Nope, kept it concealed as always..." Dan replied. "He looks sinister. He has a black hoodie on, white gloves, black pants, Heavy Black and White army boots, and a paintball mask with dark lenses. He's made sure you cant see a bit of him.."

"Wow... Pretty bad..." R-Dev said, straightening his hat. "So, what are they doing?"

"The leader spread out the harder players of the gang to attack other bladers..." Dan said. "If we let our team,one at a time, go to portions of Princeton, we can show em what we got..."

"Let's do it..." Miles said, handing Dan headphones with a mic. "Call out for help if you need it..."

Dan nodded and went out. He would go first...

No more than five minutes later, Dan was able to find trouble, seeing Dark Devin with his new bey circling him.

"Well, hey there, Dark..." Dan replied. "How's that team of the Apocalyptic Explosion doin for ya?"

"Better than ever..." Dark replied. "How about your gang?"

"Peacefully to Assemble is going great!!!" Dan said, purposely enthusiastic.

Dark grumbled. "If you wanna be your little showy self, let's show it in battle!" Dark connected his Spiral Sextans CH120RF to his launcher.

"Oh well, I wanted this to be peaceful..." Dan said, pulling out Ray Shade CH120SB, "but let's get this over with..." He attached Shade to his launcher.

3! 2! 1! LET IT RIP!!!

Shade and Sextans hit together in that abandoned road, creating a large spark.

"Come on, Sextans!!" Dark Commanded, "Put him down!"

"Don't worry, Shade, you got this..." Dan said calmly.

Dark grew mad at this statement. "Go Sextans, Special Move! Spiral Meltdown!!!"

Sextans flew up and charged at Shade. Shade dodged at the last second and took over from there.

"Go Shade, Special Move! Supersonic Dusk!!!" Dan commanded.

Shade flew up and KO'd Sextans in one hit.

"Heh, so now what?" Dan remarked.

"I go to the last resort my leader tells me..." Dark said, and he charged at Dan.

Dan new it was a fight, and was ready. Dark's first punch missed. Dan landed a knee into Dark's stomach. He was pushed off and got a hit on the jaw.

Dan shook off the shot and landed a kick to the chin. Dark didn't let up. He slashed Dan's cheek with some sort of blade. Dan wiped the blood off of the small nick, stopping Dark's next punch, and delivering one final smashing punch to the eye.

Dark fell to his knees. He looked up at Dan. "This is where you run..." Dan said, smirking.

Dark got up and ran away. Dan then proceeded back.

When he got back, he told the story, and Miles was impressed.

"Well done, Dan..." he said. "Now, who's next?"

"Me!" Daisuke let out. "I have a plan that I know will scare them..."

"Alright then, Daisuke..." Dan said, giving him the headphones. "You know the drill..."

Daisuke walked out, and headed to his favorite spot...

Daisuke slipped on the headphones on his head. He pulled out his Burn Lyre, and took in the breeze from atop the 23-story Hampton Inn.

He spotted an Apocalyptic Explosion Member, or A.E.M. for short. He attached Burn Lyre to his launcher.

The champion Sniper Daisuke hit the garbage can beside the blader. The blader freaked and ran away...

He turned to find another, asleep. Lyre returned, and with a precision shot, hit the hat off of his head, waking him up and running him off.

He fired many shots for what seemed like hours upon that roof, scaring every A.E.M. blader he spotted.

His next shot was interrupted when he was grabbed and constrained. He tried to yell for help into the mic, but the person pulled them off before he could say anything. The person held a knife to Daisuke's stomach.

"Hi...how's it goin?" the player said. "Sound familiar?"

Daisuke, straining to stay away from the knife, knew the voice. "G-A Walton..." Daisuke said, angered.

"Nice to meet ya again, Daisuke..." G-A said. "Did ya miss me from months ago?"

"Of all things, you bring that up? How dare you..."

"How dare me? You cursed like a sailor at me during that match. Your anger got you nowhere... I made the right decision. I thought I'd remind you..."

"You bring up the fact that you kicked me off the Irish team just to piss me off?"

"Not only that, but to prove a point. I might have aggressive behavior, but it takes a certain extent to push me over the edge..."

Daisuke growled.

"Now now, what did I just say?" G-A put the knife closer. Daisuke strained more, starting to tear up.

"There's more proof. You were weak, vulnerable, spineless, and had no skill whatsoever! I would never accept a pathetic blader such as you onto the national team!!"

More tears flowed from Daisuke's eyes. G-A then slowly pushed the knife into Daisuke's stomach. No blood leaked, but the pain was far too much for Daisuke's fragile body. Daisuke couldn't stand the power, falling to his knees in pain.

As he laid there, G-A kicked him one more time in the chest, almost stopping Daisuke's breathing. G-A picked up Lyre and showed it in front of Daisuke's face...

"I'd suggest getting rid of this. You're too pathetic to own any beyblade..." He dropped it and walked away...

Daisuke, pain-filled and broken, tried desperately to reach for the mic. He grabbed it and pulled it to him.

"M-M-Miles..." Daisuke said, tear-filled. "I...need help...Hampton Inn roof....can't move..."

"We're on it!" Miles replied through the mic.

Daisuke could feel his consciousness slipping away from him. "H...Hurry..." he quickly said, and he slipped...

Daisuke woke up in a bed. He was back at Miles' house.

"H...Huh? H-How did I get beck to the house?" Daisuke said, confused.

Miles walked through the door to find him awake. "Oh, hey Daisuke! I'm so relieved you're awake!" Miles said. "You have no idea how scared the team was..."

"How..long was I out?"

"Only about fifteen minutes... You looked pretty beat up..."

Daisuke lifted up his shirt to find the cut G-A gave him on his side, open. but not bleeding at all...

"Wow..." Miles said. "How'd that happen?"

Daisuke remembered the entire incident. "G-A..." Daisuke said, growling...

"G-A Walton? The Irishmen I beat in the first round of the first tournament?"

"Yeah. I was sniping my bey towards A.E.M. members on the ground from a rooftop. While I was doing it, G-A trapped me, reminding me of how I was a failure for not being confident on the team..."

"You mean, the Irish team?! You don't look Irish..."

"But I am. He said I was too weak and spineless to be on the team, so he kicked me. He continued insulting me, giving me this cut. He threw me onto the ground. Then, he picked up my poor Lyre, saying i didn't deserve to have it. He threw it on the ground and walked away, leaving me beated up..."

"I can't believe it... I better have one of the others take care of hi--"

"No, you can't! It's not that I don't want you to, but it's a personal thing between me and him. He insulted me and belittled me far too much, and I gotta do something about it..." He sighed. "I just wish I had the guts and strength to fight back..." A tear came to his eye...

"Awwww...." Miles said, giving him a hug. "Don't worry man. The team's here. We'll help..."

Daisuke said nothing, but accepted the hug...

Meanwhile, the group allowed Bri to go out next to fight. More daring than usual, she decided to find someone who was a challenge. So, who else to find but French attack-type enthusiast CD Collins.

She spotted him in a back alley way, asleep. Instead of his normal all-red clothing, He had Red silky pants with a white stripe down each side. He had a Matching Red silky jacket, red and white sneakers, and a backwards White hat with a red NIKE on it.

Bri fired her bey at him, grazing the top of his hat. He jolted awake. When he spotted her, he grew angry.

"It's time to fight, CD, not sleep..." she remarked. "I want a fight, to find more proof that Peacefully to Assemble is better than the A.E.M. I'm not intimidated my you. You might have the weight, but I have the skill...."

CD stood up on his six-foot-four frame, looking down at the five-nine Bri. "Well then..." He said..." Let's see how much, size really matters..."

Bri showed her Meteo L-Drago TR145EWD. CD pulled out his MF-H Flash Draco S130, now with an MF.

They attached and were ready for launch.
