The turn is in five phases draw>sacrifice>main>battle>end

Draw - you draw a card.

Sacrifice - you get material points from this phase, the higher level the card, the more points.

Main - you open the gateway for monsters and abilities.

Batte - you battle.

End - you end your turn.

-Each monster has their own hp system. If one monster attacks a monster with higher defense, there is recoil on the attacker's hp ( defense minus attack equals damage)

- If a monster with higher attack then the defender's defense, there is extra damage (Attack minus defense equals damage)

- Effect monsters might have 0 Atk and 0 def, when you attack, play the card's effect.

- You cannot use the gateway when you do not have any materials.

- You can only gateway one monster per turn, even if you have more materials.

- You can gateway as many abilities, as long as you have enough materials.

- In turn 40 you flip a coin to close the opponent's gateway.

- You need at least five materials to open the gateway.

- You do not need to pass a ability through the gateway, nor do you use materials.

- Your Deck must contain 120 cards.

- You can only have 5 of each card.

- You need 60 monsters and 60 Abilities.

Monster rulings

- Higher level monsters (ten and up) must be tribute gatewayed.

- Effect monsters can only be equipped to a normal monster otherwise stated.

Starting turn

- you cannot attack on the first turn.

- you start with 10 cards

- you do not draw on the first turn.

- Abilities cannot be used.

- You cannot gateway all pieces of the ring of chaos on the first turn.

- The card has a material number on it, you get that many materials.

- you can only sacrifice 5 cards.

Hey, my name is Kiro Fukata. I am an average kid, who likes to play children's card games. I go to the Highschool where the whole point is children card games. That only thinnens the plot. I also have an alter ego. I'm kidding, I would get sued for plagiarism. Anyways, I'm paid to tell this story, so let's get this started.

I open my eyes to the siren of my clock. I get up in a fit of rage. I take the clock and throw it at the wall. My life is a depressing mess of card games. Nah, I'll go to school. I get dressed and walk to the card shop, or the ccgs. I take out all of my money and throw it at the poster of the new card pack.
"Take my money!" I yell.
Then the shop owner opened the door, took my money and left a box of boosters. He already knows I do this. I walk to school with the boosters. When I get to my desk I drop the box of boosters on the desk.
"Hey man, you got the new boosters?" A male voice asks.
I look up and see it was my friend Soren.
"Yeah," I respond.
I open the first booster.
Koreos- a normal monster with 5000 hp, 1200 attack, 4000 defense.
Silver army- An ability card that boosts defense on all your monsters.
Chaos card #1 Kyros- The first protector of the ring of chaos 500 hp, 400 attack, 200 defense.
And more cards.

I put the box into my backpack and get ready for class. The teacher came in.
"Alright everybody, time for class," he says.
He goes on about sacrificing cards. Until I spurt out
"I want to actually play!!"
He replies with, "okay, then let's demonstrate a war.
"Alright, get at me!!" I yell.
I set up the gateways and the duel set.
I get my leader card, Gyros king, a secret rare. He gets out his leader, tragedy might, a common. We shuffle our decks and draw. My deck revolves around sacrificing alot of cards to get out a powerful card. I draw
Kyrus - A high material card. 9 material
Loreus - A high material card. 5 material.
Gyros knight - a basic monster with 1000 hp, 2000 attack, 1000 defense. 5 material to gateway
Gyro sphere - An ability to summon another gyros monster from my deck, but I have to shuffle. 10 material to gateway
Gyros horse - a equip for gyros knight, adds 2000 attack. 10 material.
"You know when your leader card runs out of hp, you lose," he says.
"Yeah," I reply, "I'll go first."

I sacrifice Kyrus and Loreus. I go into my main phase and pass gyros knight through the gateway.
"I end my turn," I explain.
"I draw!" the Teacher yells.
"I sacrifice Guredon for 5 materials!" He says.
"I gateway The holy Paladin," He adds.
Holy paladin 1500 attack, 1200 def, 2000 hp.
"Holy paladin! Attack Gyros Knight!" He screams.
"Not yet! Gyros! Roll!" I raise my voice.
I roll a 6 sided dice, 4, that means I dodge.
"Chain linked, Re-roll ability activate!" He yells.
"We din't pass any of the the abilities throught the gateway!" I scream
"Abilities don't have to," he explains.
I re-roll and get a 3. Damage halved. That means it misses!
450 damage to holy paladin.
"I end my turn," he says in disappointment.
I draw Drill bug, an effect monster I put in his deck, when he draws this card, his leader becomes infected for 500 hp each turn. 500 hp. 4 material.
"I gateway Gyros horse, and I attach it to Gyros knight!" I yell.
"I also gateway Drill bug," I say.
I put drill bug in his deck and shuffled it.
"Gyros knight! Attack holy paladin!" I command.
Holy paladin is destroyed. Gyros horse is destroyed.
"Your turn," I say.
He draws and sacrifices a Lockout ability. He then ended his turn. It as my turn until the door opened.
I turn around to see the scariest thing in my life. It was a person with ark glowing hands coming out of his back. Everything around him was black. He has a wicked grin on his face. He walks past me and picks me up by the blue jacket that the school supplies.
"This war is over!!" He yells.
"What are you-" The teacher was interrupted by something.
The teacher collapsed to the ground. I looked up to see the man wiped off all of the teacher's cards
"I declare war with you," He says in a maniac voice.
All the students run in terror.

"I own the ring of chaos," He explains, " if you lose, I take your Gyros king, IF you win, I'll leave you all alone."
"War accepted," I say.
We shuffle our decks and draw.
"I'll go first," Yubel adds.
"Go ahead," I command.
"I win," He says.
He showed me his hand to see all of the ring of chaos. He takes my Gyros king and rips it in half and throws it into the lake.
"You're involved," He says.
I notice he dropped a key and 5 cards. The cards were a peice of the key of chaos. Why would he drop something like this? After class I go back to the card shop to verify these cards exist. The shop owner wanted to buy it from me. I refused.
I got home to see the key starts glowing. Another evilier me wih white spikier hair appears.
"You're involved," He says, "Go to the stargate in the school lab.
"W-Why?" I dare ask.
"Yubel will be there," He explains.
"Who is Yubel?" I ask again.
"Yubel is the brother of Zero," He says, "Yubel will kill you and your friends, if you don't hurry."
I go to school and into the lab to see the dark hands grasping onto a person. I see the teacher.
"DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?!?!?!" Yubel asks in a scarier voice than before.
"I INVENTED THIS GAME!" He screams.
"I AM YOU," he says, "ZERO IS A FAKE."
He slams the teacher into the arch.
"Kiro, I'll take over," the other me says.
I transform into the darker version of me.
"Hey, Yubel!," I say in an attempt to get his attention.
Yubel turned around.
"Ready to lose?" I ask, " I declare war!"
"ACCEPTED!!" he screams.
I try to keep my grin on.
"My leader shall be Flower bud," I explain, "You can use any leader."
"I CHOOSE LORDEON," Yubel says.
We shuffle our decks and draw.
