From what I hear, the beywheelz launcher prongs will not fit into a regular beyblade but, since the launcher design is otherwise the same as that of an LL2, would it not be a simple matter to take the prongs off a regular Hasbro left launcher and swap them?

I do not own any beywheels to test this though since they are not available in europe yet.
I meant, does the actual "disk" part of the launcher fit onto the other one? Do the screw holes align? I doubt it :\
I honestly have no idea, I have been asking if it were possible for a while now.
I think Raigeko13 has purchased a Beywheelz. And I'm quite familiar with his experience with launchers. I'll ask him to do a little "confirmation" for us.

CHODY, GET IN HERE!
Just got my first Beywheelz(Slash Warrior Destroyer), so if you need any help trying out Speed types, I'd be happy to. So anyway:
I ripped a few times in my room and stuff. Slash goes real fast(It's one of the thinnest wheels out yet, which is why I got it), and rolls for a good while. I ripped it on cement, and scratches quickly appeared. Destroyer and Warrior don't seem to do much(not as wide of a diameter as other Beys) but they seem OK for weight distribution. Also tried a rip where you hold the launcher diagonally upwards and slide your left arm(the one holding the launcher) out. Seems to make the Bey bounce high up with longer airtime.
I second ugottacetus. I have destroyer and got the same results.
I'll give it a shot, but I'm nowhere near home now. Or the rest of the week.
If someone can tell me if the prongs on LL2s are the same as a Beylauncher, I can give you an answer. Brought my Beylauncher, and the prongs on the BLL (Beywheelz Light Launcher) are much larger than the Beylauncher, so yeah. To get them to fit, I'm Ifraid that it will require some ACTUAL modification to the launcher itself. Sorry I can't give a definite answer right now.
LL2 prongs are the exact same as Snipe Launcher prongs, Beylauncher prongs, Light Launcher prongs, String Launcher prongs, Duotron prongs, standard ripcord launcher prongs, etc. So far as I am aware, only the Rev-Up Launcher differs.
The Rev-Up is different? Didn't know that, thanks for the news (to me) lol.
If that's so (I was positive, but I wanted to get some confirmation) then it's highly unlikely that we can switch prongs, which is a real shame.
Anyways, I got Soaring Wing Pegasus, Claw Shredder Kerbecs, and the L-Drago Trick Terrain. The launchers don't seem to be very consistent. One of my launchers is more powerful than the other, and I rip to hard to get a good spin on them. I don't like it.
The Rev-Up has the same size prong area but it has a button in the middle where the screw shoud be and instead has 2 smaller screws placed further out, one on each side between the prongs.
I'm working on a "testing format" sort of thing. It will be up by tomorrow or the day after (depends on how much I'm into making the other guide).

Stay tuned, wheelerz Cool
Wait, wait, doesn't the Rev-Up have a larger section to hold the prongs?
It has a large area around the prong disk but most of that is empty space. The actual prong disk is the same size.
That's how mine is atleast.
so yesterday I went to walmart and found this venom bite serpent
I know I used beyblade wiki's picture but my phone died when I got there.

Since many people will not have Beywheelz (let alone two), I figured we should start off with "single launch" profiles. Basically how the single Beywheel preforms (kinda like a "solo-spin time" for Beyblades). I have outlined below some vague judging criteria:

Description of the Wheel:
  • weights of parts
  • interior design
  • performance affecting patterns

Overall Run:
  • bouncy run? (hollow wheelz?)
  • smooth run? (ones with minimal exterior rubber designs)
  • wobbly run? (ones with a lot of exterior design patterns like the spine one)

Landing/Speed:
  • Fast? (thinner and heavier ones)
  • Slow? (hollower wheelz with exterior patterning)
  • Self-KO from ramp decent (thinner wheelz+lighter)

The ideas in brackets are just my itdeas on the performance of the wheelz, judging from simple physics as I do not own one currently.
I just realised today how completely limited a vertical wheel's movements are compared to an actual spinning top's ... It can essentially only go in a straight line ...

By the way, no, being an intense Dir en grey fan right now just means that my sphere of "like" is even more restricted, but anything BeyWheelz still would not fit in that sphere at any other time.

I hope you were not serious about that counter-arguement, because if you have done any physics, it is clear that spinning tops involve way more variables and vectors.

Absolutely.

I thought it would be obvious by my little "addition" there XD

By the way, regarding your statement about "going in a straight line", I'm pretty sure they do not roll in a straight line. There must be a bit of "teetering". Though, I wish they would go in a straight line.
I realized something important yesterday.
Energy Cores have 2 modes.

What I mean is, since all ECs have symmetrical designs on their insides, you can put the Spirit Shield on the top and the Attack Gear on the bottom, or vice versa. This shouldn't differ performance with Wheelz like Soaring and Slash, but it may on ones like Wild and Claw, as the protrusions would face different directions depending on how built. So how should we describe what "mode" our Wheelz are in? Should we say PF and PB(Protrusions Forward/Protrusions Backward) or something like that?
With me, the energy core only holds the attack gear one way. The other doesn't fit. That is just with me. And rampage stomper bull.
UGottaCetus, could you post some pictures? I really don't understand as I do not own a wheel of my own. Thanks!
I don't think it should be legal, though. I don't think there are supposed to be two modes. I realized this with my BeyWheel. I though about, but I have just been using it how it shows in the official pics.

BD145 BOOST MODE!
Ight, Getting beywheelz tomorrow or the next day, if I can test anything, just ask
