i use to play with beyblades when was 3 and 8 i stopped when i was 13 now i was wondering if you could set up like sort of workshops in ny and like sell beyblades and teach lessons on them like a work shop. A work shop is a period of time when you tell someone about a product you sell and show demonstrations why wait for 2010 we could do it now.
It is the responsibility of New Yorkers to do this sort of thing. I doubt there could be something permanent, and a shop is even less likely.
You can always just wait for fall 2010 to come so Beyblade : Metal Fusion will be sold in most shops.
Also, keep looking at the tournament section of the forums for events based in New York.

We're a fan run organization, not employed by any company. So what you're asking us to do is a little much. That being said, there are plenty of Bladers in New York, so you could always meet up for a battle.

You're probably not getting what they're saying.
- You're 13, too young to even run events.
- New York probably has plenty of players.
- A Beyblade convention is never gonna happen, maybe a spinning top convention with beyblade stuff, but definitely NOT a beyblade convention.
- You're asking for support (as far as I can tell, some kind of maybe payment...) to actually do this kind of thing.
- It's a wasted idea, you've got a lot to learn about life kid, you're 13, you are pretty much just going through a "Let's do this awesome idea!" phase in life.
- Look at your design for the shop. It's an anime-based design, do you even know how much it would cost to build a shop like that? It's a waste of money to just build something like that and only leave it there after you've decided not run it anymore. Your parents probably couldn't even afford it. It costs hundreds just to get windows installed, and that's just smaller windows.
y'know, that's not a bad idea... but i do agree with Kai-V, if your gonna' plan to do something like that, you should wait to do that around the time that Metal Fusion comes on the scene. b/c right now, since Beyblade is on hiatus in the US, not many people would understand the point of the shop. so, just wait it out for a little longer, and then when beyblade is mega popular again, you'll have a lot more service than you could have now. but, that's just me. i see it as a positive either way

He's not talking about a commercial shop, or any attempt to sell a product in mass, what he means is that he'd like to see a small public event to raise awareness of both beyblade and the WBO.

Public match demonstrations
Tips and lessons for those confused about the specifics (perhaps an open Q&A?)
Perhaps some information about the types etc.
And as for the "shop" thing, I think he was referring to the possibility of bringing a very limited stock (say 20 or so beyblades at most) to put on a kind of stall so that the public and participants alike could purchase some on-site.
Now the stall isn't really plausible though, being that WBO doesn't supply blades and can't really buy wholesale to distribute for any kind of profit to go to the funding of the site or event. Also, being that currently the starter blades (with ripcord and launcher that is) seem to cost £30 or so including postage, I think that people would protest to paying enough for the event organizer(s) just to break even when they've only just heard of it.

The rent for the venue would be too much for a whim like that, for a hobby not even guaranteed to last. It wouldn't even break even =/
I live in NY and i joined just becouse Beyblades came back to NY
. As in at my camp. There are some plenty Bladers in NY, you just have to know where to look. Check the map!

Is this the right place to say that? I know New York is part of the topic, but are you trying to say that you would be part of kaidranzer's project if you had the money to buy a spinning top?
