Hey guys!
It's definitely been awhile since I've done anything Beyblade, but I've decided it might be fun to host a tournament this summer for some of you guys. Sometime, in the early summer would work out best for me (preferably late May or June), but specifically, it would depend on who can attend and when. If I found enough people to attend, I'd want to host it in Fort Wayne (probably at a central park in the area), so I don't need to travel too far. I've hosted a tournament here previously that did pretty well, so I think that would work out again quite nicely.
So, would anyone be interested in coming if I were to host this?

Currently have 7-14 people who can most likely attend.
Also, I'm sure I can come up with something for a prize.

I'm planning, for now, to have it May 27th. Unless things change for whatever reason, that should be good.
It is so cool that you are back. I really hope for you that there is enough interest still, but we should have something soon that will definitely help.

Fort Wayne isn't too far of a drive but June is pretty busy with school ending, Grand Virgo has her ballet recital the 2nd weekend, and then Fathers Day the 3rd weekend. So if you put it together we'll definitely consider it. We're having a tournament for Bey Day on May 26 in Grand Rapids if you're up for a little drive, think it's about 3 hours.

I'd doubt I'd be able to drive so far unfortunately. But, if there's not enough interest here, than I'll probably just drop it. Fort Wayne is a pretty decent size city, though
Maybe I could host this on Bey Day if I had enough interest too. If not, I'd aim for something in later June, so as many people as possible could make it.

By the way, I've got, at most, 3 people so far. That's me, my brother, and little my sister. Maybe, I'll make some posters and try to get the word around after I get back from college.

Just bumping this topic to say that this is still going on. I'll be trying to get it proposed sometime tomorrow. I was inactive for a bit from finals in university, but I'm done now, so everything is good to go
EDIT: So I've realized I'm lower on money than I thought I'd be, so I'm not gonna be able to buy a stadium for this. So, doesn't anyone else have a tournament qualified stadium?
I own a BB-10, but I'm not totally sure I can come. Also, I do not want anyone to use a MS in it. In the unlikely event that you actually use MS, you should probably rethink your combo anyway. I have had holes punched in my stadiums before, and it's not cheap.

It is near Detroit? Although, from my experience, it's about a 2 hour drive.
On a side note, I'm currently planning on using Foster Park (3900 Old Mill Road, Fort Wayne, IN, 46807) for the venue, and with that decided, I've proposed the event. Hopefully it gets approved and this thing can get rolling.

Sorry Pich, I can't make it. I thought Fort Wayne was a little closer to my house, but it is like a 5 hour drive.
If you need help I can definitely do that. I've been running all the Michigan tournaments this year besides the first one which I wasn't able to go to. So let me know. I am able to do the tournaments on Challonge.com with a wifi signal off my cell it makes it super easy. I also have 5 BB-10s and am making some tables that sit 4" off the ground to give them a little elevation above the ground but not too much. It's a pretty sweet set up, we've had a tournament every month since the first one in February. Let me know what you need
