This is Dawn of War general thread, where you can discuss what you think of the game, what army you use, what mods you use, tactics and anything else in general.
I play Dawn of War: Dark Crusade, and i have a community map pack mod and all four additional races, SoB, Inquisition Daemonhunt, Tyranids and Steel Legion. I mainly use Inquisition Daemonhunt and my favourite map is Castle Rousteinen (mod map). I've completed campaign on easy and medium, and i can tell you- the patches will make your life much harder. When i played without any patches, my tactics would be to castle up and build a strong force, but with all the patches, i recommend capturing as many strategic points as possible early in game with your scout units (equivilent of space marine scouts) while building up your base, then castling up after you have 45% of strategic points.
Ps: I searched if a thread like this was made, and there was nothing specific, only a thread with a podcast in it.
