Full Version: Is the anime over exaggerated?

Hey Guys,

I was wondering if the anime was over exaggerated to you guys. Such as sparks and explosions in the anime, whereas the real life beyblades just clash.

Also, the characters glow with red/blue/yellow/green/purple auras and can control their beyblades. We just hit and hope.

So its all up to you guys to determine whether it is or not.

Signing off,
Anubis Blader
Metal Fight 4D has been rather "done everything" since the shortened slot. 12 minutes for one scene if episodes were at full length. Endangering the viewer interest.

That is very true, and I agree fully to that. While that is true, the creators have lost ideas, which would could practically destroy the anime, for the anime would be stupid because of the characters talking nonsense and just hitting each other. In addition, it would be aired very late if it were a full 24 minute episode. So evaluate, 12-min, good quality episodes? Or sloppy, lately aired, 24 minute episodes?
I think the Anime is fine as it is. The explosions and sparks gets everyone hyped to see whats next. They do it for a reason, that reason is to get bladers ( and other peoples ) attention to realize that other than beyblade being "spinning tops clashing" that it can be fantasied into something a lot better.Joyful_2

I love the anime as it is to. It describes Beyblade rather than two tops spinning and clashing in a stadium, it show's way more than just that. It teaches a life lesson to give it all you got!! XD

If you think otherwise that elaborate on what you mean, dont just say "not really" and expect someone to know exactly what your talking about.

I find the anime to be overrated. Several of the characters are very annoying, and the series doesn't seem ultra-realistic from the actual Beyblade toy line. Forget about the spirits and special moves, I mean, the characters almost never customize Beys and such. Doesn't sound much like an actual Blader, does it?

I'm mainly talking about the english dub of the series, which I find fairly awful. I have NO IDEA what the Japanese series is like, so I don't know if the series got ruined by the dub or something.

What do you mean " I have NO IDEA what the Japanese series is like"? Have you ever watched the Japanese anime?
I do think the anime is kind of overrated. It is definitely exaggerating the logic of a beyblade, but that's what they do to gain profit off of it.

Special moves, great storyline, great cast of characters, suspenseful ending, the list goes on and on. The problem is, it's not logical, especially since younger kids see this, they want this to happen, then they are disappointed when they buy it because no sparkies come off. That's why I think it's overrated...

Yeah, I remember starting to beyblade and I though my Pegasis would glow and I would scream and be like "GO PEGASIS! STARBLAST ATTACK!!" and it never worked. My mom called me kiddish. Haha!
Do you all know what overrated is?
The anime EXAGGERATES things...not "overrates" things...please, change the name of this thread or learn the meaning of the word..
If the anime was overrated, then it would mean that people think of it too highly or think it's better than it really is, and what yall are talking about shows that you aren't talking about that.

Oh! Sorry 'bout that. Thanks!
Name a single a cartoon which isn't over exaggerated? Almost everyone cartoon is unrealistic in some aspect and animes are some of the worst at doing this.

And yes I think it's overrated. For once I want an anime which isn't all about some evil force underlying an everyday game which every one enjoys. For once can't it just be about the tournament in which we really want our main character to win because we hate the antagonist and love the protagonist. But no. It's always some guy who becomes all powerful and how he iz going to rule ze world. This so ruined it for me with Yugioh GX. I was really enjoying just a yugioh school, tournament atmosphere but sure enough shadow duels had to come in where if you lose your screwed.

And its not just the evil force and the sparks and the explosions. Some character can jump 10m high. Like what Chocked_2?
Um, YES! XD

Freaking logic goes right out the window, but I think that's why Beyblade entertains me. Same thing with Gurren Lagann. Joyful_3
You mean your Beybattles don't cause intense seismic activities, and you can't control your Beyblade with the sound of your voice? Man, you must have some weak Beyspirit.

This isn't a serious thread right? Of course the anime over exaggerates.
