World Beyblade Organization by Fighting Spirits Inc.

So, as you guys know the anime tells us real power comes from the heart, and what really matters is your beyspirit, what's your guys opinion on this?

It's a scam. Gingka could be cheating for all we know, but he wins because he "can harness his spirit" while others "can't".
I wonder what's the next smartline?
I think it will be something like this: 4 thousand years of tradition and hard training doesn't spin the beyblade, what decides a beyblattle is the "mind".
OBSossible replacements for "mind" :
-"ability to scry in the crystal ball"
-"power of love"
-"mana"
-"goodness of the heart"
-"goodness of the liver" .... and so on...

Well we know that ryuga beats him so that means hes cheating to so I highly doubt that. But what I dont really get is that there beys can litteraly spin forever. So it kinda pisses me off when my bey could only spin for 4 minutes.

I am one of the few who actually like this a lot about the Beyblade anime. I personally think Ginga's speeches are beautiful and even if maybe not realistic and all... they give a good message.
I can sit there, watch, and feel good because of it and that is nice.

The Beyspirit-thing actually motivates me beyond blading and the anime, in my usual real life as well, so I can say I appreciate this part of the series.

the shows fiction and in fiction anything can happen with beyblade its the norm it may exist in their world but when applied to ours it seems silly, beyblades in the world of beyblade can make fire/water/wind/explosions so yeah i think its silly but hey it works, for the show that is

At that time, I used to think those speeches were some sort of deception tactics XD

I can obviously harvest my BeySpirit, although, I have to attach fluid-like blue foam, stolen from a kids play area, around the outline of my body, launch a bey into some oversized breakfast bowl and look like a total idiot in front of public.

You heard it kids, the BeySpirit is achievable! You just have to CHEAT!

AH yeah. that one is sneaky... and he did actually trick Carlos, Lee and Steven into losing their battles.
When he says his famous "onelined preaches" you know something is up.
For example:
-"You can keep cheating, but i won't fall for the same trick again."
-"Why would i waste my energy? This is on you."
- and, of course, the most used : "Yeeeaahh, goo Dragoooon!"

Yes, Blader Spirit is the more commonly used word. But Beyspirit has actually also been used, at least in the German Dub somewhere, if my memory doesn't betray me completely. Can't remember the episode though.

Yeah I agree as well. In fact that is what got me beyblading.

That is how i won my battle against a Dark Gasher which had a lot of stamina and my Galaxy Pegasus was a few hits away from losing.

Although the results could be considered cheating in the anime compared to actual blading, there is one thing that the anime calls BeySpirit, that has another name in real life.

That's motivation. Motivation is a driving force, and with it comes the will to keep blading (or do whatever it is you need to do in life), keep practicing, and ultimately, become better. Those speeches may be cheesy and, at worst, stereotypical, there's a real message behind it. That's to me the entire point of the Beyblade show; and any good show at all with a similar message really.

Recently I rewatched the very first season, several years after the first time I did so. With time and experience, I noticed that there's still this little something about watching the show even though it's arguably not targeting people of my age anymore (I am 18 right now), and with a more objective point of view and my nostalgia goggles off, I noticed that all those very strong messages about team spirit and just beyspirit at all are quite enlightening, considering today's world which feels a little too centered on selfishness and individualism than anything else. We all know that so far, the most selfish characters in Beyblade did not fare exactly well!

In a way it did remotivate me to do certain other things in life; I can't, anymore, do blading for several reasons and I really regret it, but I can at least thank Beyblade for reminding me I shouldn't give up on things. But I digress.

All of those messages about power of mind, willpower, strong spirits and such, are really only messages to hint kids to believe in themselves. It does help to do what you like doing; the old sayings were never proven wrong: practice makes perfect. With a game and a sport (let's be honest, it is one) such as Beyblade, it is very much true as well.

(Now don't make me say what I didn't say; I'm just saying the target demographics are kids 8-14 , but that doesn't stop anyone older from watching or playing at all - case in point with most members here I think, including myself!)

Hmm... I don't think that first season used the concept of "beyspirit"... altough they used "team spirit" and "sportsmanship" instead, but to grasp the meaning of those two is a no-brainer.

You are correct; Beyspirit was explored starting from V-Force if memory serves right (Haven't watched this season in ages), but my point still stands.

Yeahh... motivation and willpower drives people forward, and practice makes people better in what they do... no wonder your point still stands, it's simple... and even tough some would call it cheesy, it contains core components that thrigger every action.
Of course, i don't think that forcing the kids to divinate simple (and important) concepts out of a random invented word helps them more than throwing them the "justice" concept out of a power rangers episode... but them again, maybe i'm just simple minded to think they won't philosophise the concepts out of the episodes.

Well, this IS fiction; the point of fiction is to convey a message through an interesting story after all. Some shows are better at this than others, and some messages can be hard to get without explanations, but this is Beyblade, not Lost; it ought to be simple to understand, haha.

I 100% agree on you, but one thing, why did you quit blading? I hope it's not because 'you're too old'.

I quit blading because I simply did not have any partners to play with anymore back then; the only one I had was my brother, and to put it simply, he and I were separated due to... life complications, to remain brief. Nothing I really decided. Since then, Beyblade fell out of priority in my mind and I picked up on other interests, most notably hobbies online.

And also because I grew up. No really, if I was given a mint Dragoon F and a partner who's into plastics, I would restart playing with the same gusto of my 11-year-old self, no questions asked! BeySpirit still lives on to me in another form; simply watching the current generation enjoy Beyblade as of today is satisfying to me.

Wow. You and Dei think identically... I have blader spirit, but it usually fails me LOL

What do you mean it fails you? If it's because it doesn't make you win 98% of your bey-battles, it's normal. It doesn't work that way :p

Like, it's 2-2 between the hey I want to win and the other bey, and the bey gets knocked out. When that happens and the first collision of beys my heart almost skips a beat

Oh, this kind of moment. That's understandable, I felt that too back in the day! It's the kind of moment where we wish Bit Beasts existed and gave our side a hit in the right direction. I recall thanking Dragoon for every of my wins, hah.

The good old times... Even though my childhood was a hell it went through with great moments. I remember I got most of my classmates into Beyblade. Haha, was always crowds around the beybattles =)
