Hi guys! Sorry for the delayed response; Valentin is staying over at my place so I've been busy for the past couple days haha.

I heard about this! Were you using a Meteo combo? What was Blitz using?

and what match was i supposed to be in after the match that was me vs jesseobre
You'll receive credit for all of the battles you did play, however, you will receive one loss for the match you were forced to forfeit after leaving.
You would have played Arupaeo had you stuck around.

It didn't help that the room we were given was so much smaller than last year, haha.

Happy to see Kei go down.
If 2011 was an anomaly, then this year was on par with 2009 and 2010.
When I lost my first battle against KyubiBey, the entire room erupted in celebration.
haha
(May. 27, 2012 5:01 AM)Kai-V Wrote: [ -> ]The room could not really take more anyway, since we were not in a Muskoka one anymore. I think it would have really helped a lot if we had known beforehand that the five-dollar Beyblade Pass could be repeated this year, etc. Anime North's inside problems, which delayed the confirmation and backup that we usually had like last year, all had as a consequence that not that many people came, I believe.
Yeah ... AN seemed somewhat disorganized this year, and given that the $5 Beyblade Pass was only confirmed a few days before the convention (as opposed to months, as it was last year), I'm not surprised that we only had an "average" attendance when compared to previous years.
(May. 27, 2012 5:01 AM)Kai-V Wrote: [ -> ]However, there also seems to have been a decrease in the size of the Toronto tournaments in the last few months. The two Recruitment Sessions for BEYBLADE CRUSADE 2 were almost ridiculous.
Here's how many participants we had for each Recruitment Session this year:
BCRS4: 11
BCRS5: 27
BCRS6: 15
The low attendance for BCRS4 is understandable because of how atrocious the weather was that day, and because of where it was hosted (and BCRS1 was hosted in a similar location last year and only drew 12 or so participants), but I don't understand the discrepancy between BCRS5 and 6.

Hopefully you can make it out to some other Toronto tournaments this summer!
Anyways, I'd like to convey my gratitude to everyone who took the time to come out and make this weekend and memorable as it was, in particular:

- Dark_Mousy
- Arupaeo
- Blitz
- Spinster
- KyubiBey
- Ziro
Each of you embodied what I've always felt AN has been about: bringing people together. Our time together each year may be ephemeral, but the memories formed are strong and ever-lasting. Each year, it never ceases to inspire me that we can all come together as we do; it's what we strive to do with the WBO and the distinct individual communities around the world, but AN has always taken that sentiment and pushed it to even further heights. Next year can't come quickly enough.
Stay tuned for photos (and eventually, a video for beychannel) from both Friday and Saturday!
