No topic has been made yet. All DTB fans can discuss here. I very recently just got into the anime. Season 1 is phenominal. The action, the dub voice acting, the music (especialy the 1st Season 1 Opening) are all just fantastic. I do not like Season 2 as much as Season 1, but all in all, it is a great show.
Yeah, this series is quite good. I used to watch it but then I stopped because there is also Yu Gi Oh Zexal. Which is also amazing.
I really liked this series, and think that there is a great deal of potential for interesting stories that take place in the time period of the first season. I'm not exactly sure why they didn't explore this with more episodes, but I'm a big fan of what they did give us.

Is there a dub version of the second season yet?
I find it hilarious that you just put Yu-Gi-Oh in the same leauge as Darker than Black. Not to sound hopelessly geeky, but I dont care if you have the heart of the cards on your side, this is a show about supernatural powered assassins, haha =D

An OVA was made describing events between seasons 1 and 2, although the DVD is expensive, as it is only 4 episodes so it got packaged with a blue ray disk too, making it around $50.

Season 2, as well as the OVA, have all been dubbed and put on DVD. (the OVA is DVD/Blu-ray)

The ending to season 2 was fairly interesting. Not making a season 3 would be such a waste. I really hope we get to see it someday
Excellent, I'll have to find the dubbed versions and watch them again!
I plan on going to the city sunday, where my favorite anime store is. But you see, I am fairly conflicted. I have around $100 to spend (a highly rare occurance) , I dont plan on spending even close to all of it, and I dont know what to buy. Do I buy the $50 OVA? Or maybe I finnaly cave in and buy an HMM, or some Gundam Markers? Maybe I skip it all together and head to the Beyblade Boutique in the TRU? Or maybe I just get nothing and buy SCV at Gamestop?

So many choices =(. Although I am leaning towards buying the OVA and a combination of 1 or 2 other things...

One thing I have always admired about this show is how it doesnt overdo generic anime concepts, and the anime itself is more like an art style, and not what defines the show. What is more, the funimation voice actors are at thier best in this series. Everything sounds so realistic, and the casting is perfect. Jason Leibreict (hope thats how you spell his last name) is fantastic. I have heard him in Tsubasa and Black Cat, but nothing as good as this.
You could just watch the OVM online and save your money for other things, right?
Believe me, when I finished Season 1, and I had already seen Season 2 on Funilation Channel, I searched online despperatly for the OVA. Notning. What did exist has been recently removed, probobly involving the crackdown on copyright infringement.

Agian, I am not a big fan of Season 2 as compared to 1, but I saw Season 2 first, and while I enjoyed it, it was thouroughly confusing and unwelcoming to people new to the series such as myself, which made me buy Season 1. Not only do I understand things much better now, I have a new appreciation for the franchise.

Before I saw Season 1, I saw Funimation running the OVa, but it was never identified as Season 1, I never watched it in full, and I only realized after I saw all of Season 1 that it was the OVA, but i cant seem to find it on air now, and funimation is going off the air for Fios is just 2 weeks...
