I've managed to lose my Tiger Defenser Uncertain But on the plus side..found Zeus :3 Btw..I dont know if anyone remembers that plug and play Vforce game that was shaped like Tysons launcher...If so..Please let me know i'm not the only to have turned it into a launcher...
Eh, are you talking about the Dragoon Launcher, which has a weird game on it? Confused

Also, Zeus is a very nice beyblade considering its looks, but for Stamina/Compacts Tiger Defenser > Holy Despell (aw I love the name!!!) IMO.
Yea...Looks like this..

hahah..how was the game?interesting?
i used to use my RC Dragoon launcher as a launcher as well...really look like in the show..hahaand it feels comfortable as well..
The game was amusing for a bit. Having fairly big hands the Launcher felt more comfortable than the RC one I had..and it was left spin. :p
mine is right spin even though it was for Dragoon.. Unhappy
My RC Launcher is right spin. But the plug and play game launcher is the left spin one. I should've been clearer on that. :3 It's 0300 here and i've not been sleeping well...So of course that means looking though things and finding Beyblade stuff. Grin
Only the takara plug and play one has prongs. I'd really like one of those, or any left spin launcher that has a grip built in, because it's a damned pain to get left launchers to stay in most customize grips, and most of the beys I'd be using at tourneys would be left spin.

By the way, just rewatching an ep of the anime (Picking Up The Pieces, GRev), and Diachi is about to face Tala and wolborg 4, when Kenny is like "Here's a Customized Bearing Base, it's the key to beating Tala!". Though it's right spin (though to be honest right spin CBB may well outspin Wolborg 4) and he uses the stock SP which is just dumb, perhaps a secret message about what I always go on about (Wolborg 4 combos eat zombies except Customize Bearing Base because it's the best).

Either way, I thought it was pretty cool and wish they'd released a purple CBB, given how nicely that would match my attack combo (though it's really the blue cross survival sp that mess up the look, mostly).
Yeah! It looks really good. But in real-life, Gaia/Strata Dragoon V looks awful, because of the bit chip. It's way too low.
(ノ´ヮ´)ノ*:・゚✧
I just built my first plastic Beyblade in almost a decade, yesterday. I did not remember them being so Gundam-like : I actually used small cutters and filed the extra parts. Does everybody do that, hah ?

I strongly disagree. Gaia Dragoom V looks awesome. The best part of its looks is the AR and bit-chip. th!nk's combo(renamed GRASS CUTTER by me and Janstarblast) is my favorite bey and my second most used plastic custom as well. I really like it a lot(as is evident from my avatar Tongue_out). I agree with th!nk though. A purple CBB should have been made. A few days back I also thought of buying an NIB Burning Kerberous for that and painting it purple XD. But I'm not Benjohadi so surely I would have messed it up so I did not buy BK either. Planning to get one soon though along with Wolborg 4.

Normally when I buy blades they're already gone for whatever reason (either through being done by a past owner or perhaps having worn off, but when I open NIB ones, especially those that I am particularly fond of, I generally remove the extra bits, though I generally cut them off with a suitable implement rather than risk filing the part by accident (because I am that unco).

If I am guessing correctly as to which plastic it was, I definitely would for that one.
i usually used cutter.. (Uncertain sometimes i do..) i'm a Gundam Ex-Collector before i started with plastics again..so..haha..
i used to do so like you Kai-V..
but now..i usually just twist them over and smooth-en it with knife like th!nk does...haha

haha..lol..
anyway..i agree that Gaia Dragoon V is one pretty job..i like very much...most everything except the S-AR..looks nasty..
but the primary AR..hey..you got a taste man..
I decided to use a small cutter because it seemed impossible to just twist the parts out of the casings without warping their shape, hah.
haha..but i prefer knife since it straighten and smooth-en the surface..or at time..finger nail cutter..i just use them to take it off from the plastic thing..purposely dont cut precisely and let the knife do the rest of the job..haha..
and yeah..clear spray your plastics Kai-V..haha..
the stickers might dry??haha
You gotta go easy on that sticker clear coating though if you overdo it, they can look horrible.

By the way, some info on the name of Zinrai/Hayate/Shin-Hayate/Raiden/Zinrai II/Hayate II's weight disk, that I've been calling "Weight Ring": http://www.hasbro.com/common/instruct/Be...Zinrai.pdf

It's called Weight Ring by hasbro and I'm guessing that's where I got the name, haha.

I use Model Kit Nipper Clippers. Perfectly flat cut on pretty much any angle. I don't sand them down just in case it'll scar the plastic, though.

It's part of why I haven't assembled any of my NIB Plastics I've gotten lately - my nippers broke.
Hey guys can we talk about storm grip base with an inverted tip. Will it ever be legal like Ariel 2's rubber tip used with wolborg 2's casing. Like Th!nk said it was mentioned in some Japanese beyblade book. The situation is just like the Ariel 2's base breaking, storm grip base's rubber being dead. The plastic grip bases that are useful are very rare now but if storm grip base has a inverted tip it can be very useful better than grip base as i tested it.
If I'm not mistaken(and it's entirely possible I'm remembering incorrectly), that modification actually requires glue... also, several of the ones in that guidebook are a little wacky.

Hardly the same as the Ariel 2 thing, in my opinion.
It does not require glue. You just stick the rubber in to the opposite hole and it stays stuck.
Ah. Regardless, the tip is still in a state it was not intended to be in; in Ariel 2's case, the tip may be in a different base, but the tip itself is unmodified.

That is my take on it, anyway.
Takara did endorse it at one stage (as,an antidote to the, wear issues) and it would make attack a lot more accessible. As crazy as it is, it would be very healthy for the metagame.

But yes, generally, though not always, it requires a filler, though not a permanent modification.

That said Takara also endorsed home made parts at one stage.

Still, my ideas on what should be legalized are rather, err, progressive.
Yeah, Takara's endorsement is kind of hard to take straight given their attitude during Plastics, haha. I don't actually have a Storm Grip of my own to check, but it still seems iffy... I still think tips should be the way they were intended, on the part that matters most.

Pretty much exactly why I'm not okay with the reversing of the tip in Seaborg's base, as well.
I must scan that spin-up guide book, but I still think, even if it's pushing things, it'd at least be good for the game, as then people like me who are willing to spend stupid amounts of money on three Ariel 2's aren't the only people able to build powerful attackers (of course, the difficulty of controlling it mediates its speed).

To be honest, I would even like to see full-on tip swapping legalised, it would broaden the game so much, I mean, I know it's already the broadest one there is, but it would be incredible, and a load of fun with the degree to which you could "personalise" a combination and so on. It'd also give Dranzer V's shorter MG Core competitive use, haha.

Obviously, I doubt it will happen, because even to me it seems crazy, but it would be so cool! Tongue_out
